The pizza here is cooked to perfection, with a perfect blend of crunchy crust, cheesy toppings and tangy tomato sauce. Plus, the portions are generous – you get your money’s worth!

In terms of atmosphere, the restaurant itself is quite cozy and inviting. You can bring friends or family, or just come to relax after a long day at work. Plus, the staff here is incredibly friendly, making it even more enjoyable.

My favorite part of A Pizza Yen though was their signature pizzas – they were amazing! I had a Hawaiian-style Pizza with ham and pineapple that was delicious. I also got some cheese slices which were fabulous too.

Overall, A Pizza Yen has spoiled me for any other pizza joint ever again! The best part? They deliver so you don’t have to leave the comfort of your own home for an amazing meal. Highly recommended for anyone in Portage MI looking for the best pizza around!

I’ve had pizza in Rome, Chicago, and even Italy, but nothing compares to the delicious flavors I experienced at Chicago Style Pizza. From their House Speciality to their deep dish creations and creative toppings, every inch of my pizza pie was delectable.

My favorite topping was the house-made sausage that added a unique flavor profile. The combination of the sausage, pepperoni, and cheese mixed perfectly with the spices and herbs used in the crust recipe. A great experience all around!

The first thing I noticed when walking into this cozy little pizza joint was the delicious aroma of fresh-baked pizza. Then, I noticed the smile on the face of the friendly staff, which put me in an immediate good mood.

When it came time to order, I had a hard time deciding between all of the tasty options Pizza King has to offer. They have a wide variety of toppings from traditional favorites like pepperoni and mushrooms to more exotic selections such as pineapple and roasted red peppers. After much deliberation, I ultimately went with their “King’s Supreme” featuring mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, and onions – definitely a crowd pleaser!

When my pizza arrived at my table steaming hot out of the oven, it looked like something right out of a magazine! The flavor was even better than it looked; each bite was bursting with flavor and melted in my mouth. As soon as I finished my first slice, I wanted another one (or three!).

I was immediately struck by the inviting atmosphere of this pizza joint, with its bright and cheery decor. The staff were friendly, upbeat and eager to help with anything I needed. It felt like the kind of place you’d want to stay for lunch or dinner – even if it’s just for a slice.

The menu selection was fantastic, offering a variety of classic flavors as well as some unique offerings that really caught my eye. I decided on the Mega Meat Deluxe Grinder and it did not disappoint! Generous amounts of premium meats and cheese were piled high atop an Italian-style roll. The sauce was flavorful and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. I washed it all down with an ice cold root beer – which they also serve here!

I’m so glad I made a stop at Mancino’s Pizza & Grinders during my travels in Portage MI – it may just go down in history as one of my favorite pizzerias ever! Whether you’re looking for classic Italian favorites or something truly unique, this is definitely one spot where you’ll get your fill of great pizza.

#6 Monelli’s Italian Grill & Sports Bar

As soon as I walked in, the inviting atmosphere of the bar immediately caught my attention. The walls were lined with sports memorabilia and dozens of flat-screen TVs that were tuned to sports games. After being seated, I quickly noticed their extensive selection of craft beers on tap – clearly a great place for sports fans and pizza lovers alike!

But what really sealed the deal was the menu. The variety of pizza styles they offered was nothing short of impressive, plus they had vegetarian options that looked amazing. I opted for a classic cheese pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever tasted! It was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of cheese and seasoning.

To top it all off, it wasn’t too expensive – which is always a plus in my book. My experience at Monelli’s Italian Grill & Sports Bar was delightful and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in town!

#7 Maestro’s Pizza

Upon walking in, I was immediately blown away by the gracious hospitality of the staff. They were so attentive and made sure that I felt truly welcomed.

When I looked around the restaurant, I noticed that Maestro’s Pizza seemed to be quite popular with the locals. From their top-notch service to their delicious pizza, it was clear why this place is highly praised!

The pizza menu at Maestro’s Pizza is simply out of this world. Whatever toppings you fancy, I’m sure you’ll find something on their menu that will tantalize your taste buds! Plus, they also offer interesting specialty pizzas like the “Taco Pie”, which is a must-try for any pizza enthusiast!

Of course, when it comes to great pizza, one must consider the crust! And boy oh boy did Maestro’s not disappoint! The crust is perfectly thin yet crunchy and tastes just as great when reheated as it does when fresh out of the oven. The dough has a light sweetness that nicely complements each topping combination.

Let me start by saying that the atmosphere was perfect. I stepped into Buddy’s Pizza and immediately felt like I was at home. The cozy chairs and rustic decor were warm and inviting, while the brick oven fired up with delicious aroma of freshly baked pizza only enhanced the experience.

The pizza itself was absolutely divine! The crust had just the right balance of crunchiness, yet also wonderfully doughy. The seasonings used on top were spot-on, delivering an explosion of flavors that made my mouth water. And don’t even get me started on the cheese – a mix of mozzarella and provolone that was creamy, melty perfection!

I’d definitely recommend anyone in Portage MI to stop by Buddy’s Pizza for a meal they won’t soon forget! All in all, a fantastic experience that proves why Buddy’s is hands down the best pizza in town.

#9 Erbelli’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Italian Bistro & PUB!

I had heard great things about the restaurant before I arrived, but I was still blown away. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting – they even had a full-sized pub where I could enjoy a pint of beer while waiting for my meal!

The pizza was definitely the highlight, though. I opted for the classic Margherita, which came out perfectly cooked with just the right amount of cheese. The crust was thin but not too crunchy, and there was plenty of sauce to top it off. Absolutely delicious!

I also sampled some of their other food items, including their garlic breadsticks and salads. Everything else was great too – especially the drinks! They have an impressive selection of craft cocktails that I highly recommend trying.

All in all, Erbelli’s Gourmet Pizzeria, Italian Bistro & PUB! is easily one of the best pizza restaurants in Portage MI – if not the best. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a great pie!

I had the pleasure of staying in town for a few weeks, and a local told me I absolutely had to try out Jac’s Cekola’s. From that first bite, I was hooked! The pizza is cooked perfectly in their wood-fired ovens and has the most amazing cheesy flavor.

The crust held up surprisingly well through the entire experience. I found it to be incredibly light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch around the edges. The toppings were well balanced and provided an amazing flavor that was truly unique to this particular place.
