The smoky flavor of the pizza dough combined with the perfect level of toppings made it one of my favorite pizzas ever. The pints selection is great too, so I don’t have to choose between water and beer with my meal.

The atmosphere also adds a lot to the experience. It’s a nice, cozy spot for a relaxing dinner or lunch with friends – dim lighting, warm colors, comfortable seating.

What really stood out to me though was the service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful – from the host to the waitstaff – which really put me at ease during my visit.

#2 Pizza Twist – Redding, CA

I arrived at their quaint spot in the heart of downtown Redding and was immediately impressed by its charming atmosphere. There were ample tables and comfy chairs for friends and family to gather around, complete with a cozy fireplace. The staff was super friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a wonderful experience.

Now let’s get to the pizza! Pizza Twist sure knows how to make an incredible pie! They offer an amazing selection of savory toppings, so my party enjoyed creating our very own custom pies. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention their signature creations—the Spinach Lasagna pizza was utterly delicious! Plus, they had an extensive selection of beers and wines to pair perfectly with our dinners.

It’s clear that they take great pride in crafting some of the best pizza in Redding. All the ingredients are unbelievably fresh, always sourced locally whenever possible; in fact, we even chatted with one of the local farmers who supplies them with produce almost daily!

#3 MOD Pizza

My dining experience began with a sense of delight. Upon entering, I was greeted by the cheerful and attentive staff who were more than happy to answer my questions about the amazing array of ingredients that MOD Pizza offers.

The aroma of fresh dough being stretched and topped with homemade sauces wafted up my nostrils, and I knew that this would be pizza like no other. As I waited for my order, I watched in awe as the chefs crafted each masterpiece before my eyes. It was truly captivating!

Once my pizza arrived, it was time to dig in. The crust was perfectly baked and crunchy on the outside while still being soft and chewy on the inside. The toppings were generous but not overwhelming – just enough to balance out the flavor of the pizza. The minute I walked into the restaurant, I knew it was something special. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the smells coming from the kitchen were amazing.

I ordered one of their signature pies, a pepperoni and bacon pizza, and it arrived piping hot. The crust was crispy yet light, with just the right amount of sauce to give it that perfect balance of flavor. The toppings were fresh and delicious – the bacon was cooked to perfection and the pepperonis added an extra layer of flavor.

But what really made this pizza stand out was their unique cheese blend. It had an incredibly creamy texture that melted in your mouth. This is definitely not your typical pizza!

As I stepped through the doors, a warm and inviting atmosphere greeted me. The staff was friendly and enthusiastic, ready to provide an enjoyable experience.

The menu was extensive, offering a variety of classic favorites as well as unique creations. I decided to try a classic pepperoni pizza, and upon biting into it, my taste buds were in for a treat! The crust was thin yet crisp and held up flawlessly to the generous helping of fresh toppings generously applied. In addition, the combination of flavors created an explosion of taste in my mouth that left me wanting more.

I also tried their signature garlic breadsticks and they were simply delicious! Even after finishing my meal, I couldn’t stop thinking about these delectable bread sticks with their perfectly seasoned garlic butter coating and crisp texture.

#6 Tappan Out Wood Fired Pizza & Take And Bake Pizza

The atmosphere in the restaurant was friendly and inviting, which was just the kinds of vibes I needed to start my pizza tasting adventure! The decor was warm and cozy, with wood-paneled walls and a shimmering stone oven in the back. I knew that this place was going to be good!

When it came time to order, I opted for the classic pepperoni and sausage pie. As soon as it arrived, I knew I had made the right decision! The wood-fired crust had a delicious crunchy texture, while the sauce and toppings were packed with flavor. Plus, the portion size was generous enough for two people (just as my dining partner learned when we split it!).

I also sampled their take and bake pizza, which is essentially a frozen version of their regular pies that you can cook up at home whenever you want. Even after being in the freezer for God knows how long, this pizza surprisingly still tasted amazing! My hat goes off to these pizza masters; they really know what they’re doing!

In conclusion, Tappan Out Wood Fired Pizza & Take And Bake Pizza has proven itself to be one of Redding’s best pizzerias. Their quality ingredients and commitment to excellence shine through in every bite making this spot a must-visit destination for all your pizza needs.

#7 Shasta Pizza

I visited the restaurant recently and was very pleased with the overall experience. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with a lively bar and pleasant staff.

The pizza itself was top-notch. The crust was thin and perfectly crunchy, while the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the sausage, mushrooms, onions, and jalapenos combination – truly eye-opening! Even more impressive was the fact that the pizzas arrived at my table piping hot – something that isn’t easy to achieve when traveling so far for pizza!

Overall, Shasta Pizza deserves to be recognized as some of the best pizza in Redding. If you’re ever in town craving a slice (or two!), head on down to Shasta Pizza – you won’t be disappointed!

#8 Cinders Wood Fired Pizza

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the pizza? It’s out of this world! The wood-fired oven gives the crust a smoky flavor that can’t be found anywhere else. The cheese is melted to perfection and the toppings are fresh, flavorful, and plenty.

I savored every bite – from the classic pepperoni to the more adventurous prosciutto pineapple. Every flavor was a delicious surprise!

Plus, Cinders Wood Fired Pizza also offers gluten-free options for those with special dietary needs. A huge plus in my book.

#9 Fratelli’s Pizza Parlor

When I stepped through the door of this cozy little pizzeria, my senses were overwhelmed with the smell of freshly-cooked pizza and sauces–it’s a smell that no other pizza place can replicate.

The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating and seem to genuinely care about their customers. The fact that Fratelli’s has been around for over 30 years only adds to its charm.

The pizza itself is definitely something special, with delicious thin crusts topped with a combination of fresh ingredients like homemade Italian sausage, onions, peppers, olives, and cheese. I tried their signature pie, the Fratelli Special: it was loaded with flavor and each bite tasted better than the last! Even some of the less traditional toppings like pineapple and BBQ chicken really satisfied my cravings!

In addition to great pizza, they also offer amazing sandwiches and salads, as well as locally brewed beer. I highly recommend their cheesy garlic breadsticks.

Overall, I cannot recommend Fratelli’s Pizza Parlor enough –it truly is one of the best places to get pizza in Redding!

#10 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

The restaurant itself is quite unique: they don’t actually cook your pizza there, you take it home and bake it yourself! It makes it a lot easier to get the perfect, piping hot pizza as soon as you’re ready to eat.

I chose the Signature Pepperoni pizza and was impressed at how flavorful the crust was. The pepperonis were thick and juicy, and the sauce had just the right amount of kick – not too overwhelming, but enough flavor to make my taste buds dance with joy.

The best part about Papa Murphy’s though? Each pie comes with fresh ingredients from local farmers, so you can be sure that your pizza is made with only the freshest ingredients available!

#11 Charlew’s Tap House | Pizza Pasta & Grill

From the moment I stepped in, I was impressed. The decor was modern and inviting, but still had a homey feel to it. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, which is always a plus!

When my pizza arrived, I was amazed. It had a crispy crust that was cooked perfectly and an amazing blend of ingredients that made it flavorful without being too overpowering. The sauce was tangy yet had a nice sweetness to it that really set it off.

I sampled some of the other pizzas on the menu as well, and all of them were equally delicious! The pasta offerings were equally tasty with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Lastly, their selection of craft beers is definitely something to be admired!

All in all, Charlew’s Tap House | Pizza Pasta & Grill lives up to its reputation for having some of the best pizza in Redding. From the atmosphere to the food itself, I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great pizza. Bon appétit!

I must say, the pizza here was out of this world. The crust was perfectly thin and had just the right amount of crunch. The sauce was equally delicious, with a subtle sweetness that paired perfectly with the zesty cheese. To top it off, the toppings were fresh and flavorful; definitely not your average grocery store pepperoni!

The atmosphere at Market St Pizza & Deli is also quite inviting; it’s very laid-back and cozy, without feeling too stuffy or formal. And let me tell you, the staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met in a restaurant! They take great care to make sure every customer feels like family.

All in all, I can confidently say that Market St Pizza & Deli has some of the best pizza in Redding – if you’re in town, I strongly suggest checking it out! You won’t be disappointed.
