After being all over the world, I can now confidently say that San Ramon has some exceptional pizza places! After sampling 12 of them, I’m confident in declaring the best. Of course, it wasn’t an easy decision—there were so many delicious pies to choose from.

My process was thorough. I sampled a range of flavors from each place and looked at the quality of ingredients and crusts. It was a tough job, but someone had to do it—and that someone was me! #1 San Ramon’s Big Apple Pizza

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff was welcoming and friendly and they made me feel like I was part of their pizza family.

The menu was so expansive that I had a hard time deciding what to order! But after much deliberation, I decided on a classic Margherita Pizza and it did not disappoint. The dough was soft and fluffy, the cheese freshly melted and the sauce simply divine.

But the best part of my experience at San Ramon’s Big Apple Pizza came when I indulged in their most popular creation: the garlic knots covered in parmesan cheese. These were hands-down some of the best garlic knots I’ve ever had! They were light, fluffy and oh-so-tasty.

#2 Provence Pizza And Café

I was blown away the second I walked in and smelled the heavenly fragrance of baking pizzas. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with rustic wood furniture, walls adorned with interesting art, and a grand stone pizza oven taking center stage.

The menu boasted an impressive variety of pizza – traditional cheese and pepperoni, Sicilian-style pies, even vegan options! After ordering a small cheese pizza for myself and a large special for the table, we waited not so patiently for the fresh-baked goodness to arrive.

The smell of melted cheese and spicy Italian sausage wafted across the room when the server brought out our order. The beautifully presented large pizza was made from garlic olive oil crust, mozzarella cheese, Italian sausage, pepperoni and mushrooms – divine! The small cheese pizza was no less delicious – lightly spiced tomato sauce atop a thin crispy base. Needless to say it didn’t last long!

My friends were suitably impressed with my choice of restaurant; Provence Pizza And Café really does serve some of the best pizza in San Ramon. I suggest you get down there before everyone else finds out about it!

I visited the pizzeria on a hot summer day, and the atmosphere was inviting with its cozy red booths and bright lights. I had heard good things about their pies, but I wasn’t prepared for how amazing they actually were.

The slices were huge and loaded with flavor. The meats were juicy, the cheese was creamy, and the crust was crispy yet delicate. It’s clear that Sliver takes great care to make sure every element of their pizza is perfect.

The service at Sliver Pizzeria Danville was also excellent—the employees were friendly and accommodating, and they happily took my order without batting an eyelash (not an easy task when you have someone like me asking for endless modifications).

I was welcomed by the friendly staff as soon as I stepped through the door. Everything seemed to be in order- and smelled amazing! I decided to try out their classic Margherita pizza, and let me tell you… it was extraordinary.

The thin, crispy crust had a hint of oregano that enhanced the flavors of the classic tomato sauce and melty mozzarella cheese. To top it all off, they had added a few leaves of fresh basil for an extra layer of flavor. It really was something special!

Since then, I’ve been back on several occasions, each time trying out new combinations from their extensive menu. Some standouts have included their bacon and jalapeño pizza (which is surprisingly good!) and their kimchi pizza with garlic cream cheese – absolute heaven!

Whether you’re looking for something traditional or experimental, Curry Pizza House has got you covered. And frankly, I think it’s some of the best pizza in San Ramon – enough said!

#5 Melo’s Pizza & Pasta

If you’re looking for a truly unique experience, then Melo’s is exactly what you need. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, making it the perfect spot for date night or just hanging out with friends. And of course there’s the amazing pizza. On my visit, I had their signature Melo-Whammy pizza – a flavorful combination of mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onion slices and green peppers – and it was DELICIOUS! The crust was perfectly cooked and just crispy enough to provide that delightful crunch.

The toppings were all incredibly fresh and flavorful, which is something I really appreciate when eating pizza. Not only that but the portions are generous; it took me two days to finish my entire pizza! The service here was outstanding too – our server checked in often to ensure we had everything we needed but never felt intrusive.

All in all, my experience at Melo’s Pizza & Pasta was simply amazing – like nothing else I’ve experienced before! The first thing that impressed me was their menu. They offer an extensive selection of pizzas, from classic cheese to buffalo chicken. All of their toppings are fresh and flavorful as well! I tried the signature namesake pizza (the Blue Line) and it was delicious! The combination of olives, mushrooms and tomatoes was perfect.

The crust is also a standout – it’s super thin, but still has just enough crunch. The best part is that they deliver, so you don’t even have to leave your house to enjoy this amazing pizza!

I was immediately impressed with the friendly and helpful staff that greeted me when I walked in. The first thing I noticed was the open kitchen where I could watch my pizza being made right in front of me. The second thing that caught my attention was the amazing selection of toppings! I mean seriously, they had everything from artichokes to jalapenos to feta cheese – it was overwhelming in the best possible way!

When my pizza arrived, it looked absolutely mouth-watering and smelled even better. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy and there was more than enough cheese and toppings on it. It really lived up to its reputation as some of the best pizza in San Ramon!

I left feeling completely satisfied, but not overstuffed like you sometimes do after eating too much pizza! From the moment I walked in, I could tell that this place was special. The warm, inviting atmosphere created by the friendly staff and rustic decor was perfect for a cozy evening of pizza indulgence.

The menu at Pizza My Heart didn’t disappoint, either. With over 15 different options to choose from, it was hard to decide what pizza to try first! I settled on the classic Margherita and it did not disappoint; the crust had just the right amount of crispiness and chewiness, while the sauce had a richness that really made the flavors pop.

But don’t stop there; Pizza My Heart also offers some specialty pizzas that are sure to impress even the pickiest palate. The Hawaiian Supreme was especially delicious – loaded with pineapple, ham, bacon and other delicious toppings – it truly melted in my mouth.

Overall, Pizza My Heart is one of the best pizzerias in San Ramon and is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some great pizza. Plus, their portion sizes are generous enough for two people to share so you won’t leave feeling hungry!

I wasn’t very impressed when I walked in and saw the rather plain, traditional decor at On Fire Pizza. However, that quickly changed once I tried their pizza. The bubbly, golden crust made me realize I had stumbled upon a real gem in San Ramon. The herbs and spices used to season the crust were out of this world!

Every single bite was packed with flavor, and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. My personal favorite was the hand-crafted Italian sausage and extra-cheesy pizza. It’s hard to describe how perfect that combination was!

I also have to mention their outstanding customer service; it’s not often that you find such friendly staff in a small town pizzeria. They go out of their way for each customer – even asking about dietary restrictions or allergies so they can make sure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

All things considered, On Fire Pizza has the best tasting pizza in San Ramon – maybe even all of California! If you’re looking for a great slice or pie in a relaxed atmosphere, then this is definitely your place!

I just had the most amazing experience eating at Garlex Pizza. The interior had a cozy, old-school feel to it and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I knew the pizza would be good when I saw the giant brick oven in the back of the restaurant!

The pizza was incredible – made with only the freshest ingredients, it was definitely a step up from any chain pizza you’d find elsewhere. The crust was flavorful and crispy, and the toppings were cooked perfectly. But what really made this pizza unique was the cheese – a blend of four different kinds that added so much depth to every bite.

Overall, Garlex Pizza is one of those places where you can tell they take their craft seriously. From start to finish my experience there was amazing – I’m already planning my next visit! The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was welcomed with a warm greeting and a delicious aroma of pizza being cooked in the back. After being seated, I quickly noticed how creative the menu was with options from classic Italian pizzas to unique and flavorful creations.

The pizza itself is nothing short of amazing. The crust is perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chewiness, and each slice is filled with rich and flavorful tomato sauce, savory cheese and all kinds of high-quality toppings.

I must say that service at Amici’s East Coast Pizzeria is also top-notch! The waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable and always do their best to make sure that you have an enjoyable dining experience.

The first thing that struck me as I walked into the restaurant was the incredible smell of freshly baked pizza. Everything from the decor to the friendly staff made me feel welcomed and at home.

The menu had some mouth-watering options to choose from, but I went for their signature ‘Primo’s Pie’. It didn’t disappoint – the crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with a delicious blend of spices that gave it an extra kick. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, and the mozzarella cheese melted in my mouth. It was heaven!
