In my quest to sample the world’s best pies, I’ve tasted some of the most scrumptious pizzas in New York and Chicago. So when I arrived in Santa Clara, I was excited to see how these 12 pizza places lived up to my expectations.

#1 Krusti Pizza & Pasta

I’m not one to be easily impressed, but the restaurant’s menu and pizza selection had me intrigued from the start. From New York-style thin crust to deep-dish Sicilian, Krusti Pizza & Pasta has something for everyone!

On my first visit to the restaurant, I ordered the house special – a deep-dish Sicilian pizza with lots of cheese, pepperoni, olives, mushrooms, and green peppers. When it arrived at my table, I was amazed at how fresh and flavorful all of the ingredients were. The pizza was cooked perfectly; it was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.

The service at Krusti Pizza & Pasta is outstanding as well. The waitstaff are always friendly and accommodating; they happily answer any questions you have about the different types of pizzas that are offered.

Overall, I highly recommend Krusti Pizza & Pasta for anyone looking for a delicious Italian feast or just some of the best pizza in Santa Clara!

#2 A Slice of New York

My visit to this quaint spot was a real treat. A Slice of New York is jam-packed with character, featuring authentic brick walls and classic New York decor. It certainly feels like you’ve stepped into the Big Apple!

But most importantly, their food is out of this world! Their pizza is truly crafted with Italian precision and authenticity, using fresher ingredients than any other place I’ve visited. I sampled their signature Margarita pie and it blew my mind – the crust was perfectly thin yet crisp, the mozzarella cheese was stringy and creamy, and the topping had just enough sweetness to make it pop.

The service here is also something special – even on busy nights, I felt like the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. They offer recommendations for their popular pies too if you can’t decide what to get, so don’t worry about feeling overwhelmed by options.

#3 Cicero’s Pizza

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and I’m so glad I did. From the second I stepped in the door, I could tell that this place was special. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering me an array of delicious pizzas to choose from.

I decided to try their classic Margherita pizza, which was simply divine. It had a light and fluffy crust that was perfectly cooked and topped with fresh tomatoes, basil and mozzarella cheese. The balance between each of the ingredients was perfect – it really hit the spot!

I would certainly recommend Cicero’s Pizza if you’re looking for a great place to get some of the best pizza in Santa Clara. Not only is the food outstanding, but they have a fun atmosphere as well – definitely worth checking out!

I’ll start with the positives. The pizza itself is out of this world! Every bite was a flavor explosion, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. Plus, their crust was perfection – crunchy on the outside but still soft in the middle.

The atmosphere at 540° pizza & more was fantastic too – it had that vintage “New York style” vibe with its classic brick walls and open kitchen. Furthermore, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating which made for a pleasant eating experience.

Now, let’s talk about the downsides – there’s only one: no delivery option! I know how convenient delivery is for busy families and big groups; however, trust me when I say that it’s worth going to 540° pizza & more to get your ‘za fix!

#5 Mio Vicino

No joke, the crust here is fantastic! It’s crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle – just how I like it. The sauce is flavorful and complementing of the cheese and toppings.

The selection of toppings at Mio Vicino is unparalleled. They have all my favorites, from pepperoni to roasted red peppers to pineapples. And they offer so many specialty pizzas that I could never try them all in one visit!

The service at Mio Vicino is friendly and attentive – they’re always happy to answer questions about their ingredients or make recommendations for what to order. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.

All in all, Mio Vicino has earned its place as some of the best pizza in Santa Clara!

#6 Pizz’A Chicago

I have to admit I was skeptical. After visiting so many restaurants and eating pizza in places like Italy, New York, and Chicago, I thought Santa Clara wouldn’t come close. But boy was I wrong!

From the moment they handed me my piping hot slice of Gourmet Veggie pizza with roasted bell peppers, caramelized onions, mushrooms and garlic oil, I knew I had made the right choice coming here. The crust was golden brown and crispy around the edges but still chewy in the center. All of the toppings were fresh and flavorful – no skimping on quality ingredients here!

In addition to their delicious food, Pizz’A Chicago also has a great atmosphere. The employees were friendly and welcoming without being overbearing. Plus they have a selection of craft beers at reasonable prices which made it even better.

To summarize, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Santa Clara then Pizz’A Chicago is definitely worth checking out! They have all the qualities that make a great restaurant: excellent food, great atmosphere and friendly service.

#7 MOD Pizza

The first time I visited MOD Pizza, I was amazed. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated, and the staff was incredibly friendly. But it’s the pizza that really made me come back again and again!

The crust is thin and crisp yet still chewy, with a great flavor that makes every bite delicious. The sauce is flavorful and just the right amount of tangy sweetness. Add to that fresh toppings of your choice, like fresh vegetables or Italian-style meats, and you have a meal worth coming back for over and over again!

You can choose from one of their pre-made combinations or build your own pie choosing from an extensive list of toppings! It’s fun to mix and match flavors and textures together until you find your perfect pizza style.

#8 Pizza My Heart

When I entered the restaurant, I was immediately greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu items. It made for a great start to my visit!

I ordered the “Santa Clara Special”, a thin-crust pizza with tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, and fresh garlic. When it arrived at my table, I could tell it was going to be amazing. The thin crust was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of crunch. The tomato sauce and Parmesan cheese blended together perfectly to create a delicious flavor combination that was hard to beat. The fresh garlic added an extra layer of flavor that really brought out the best in this pizza.

To top it all off, I had an ice cold beer to accompany my meal – it was one of the best combinations I have ever experienced! And let me tell you – it didn’t disappoint!

Pizza My Heart is definitely one of the best spots in Santa Clara for pizza lovers like myself. Whether you’re looking for a quick slice or a full meal, Pizza My Heart has something for everyone’s tastes. Highly recommended – even by this traveling food critic!

#9 Tony & Alba’s Pizza and Pasta

From the moment I stepped inside the inviting atmosphere of Tony & Alba’s, I knew I was in for a treat. The staff welcomed me with warmth and enthusiasm, which made all the difference.

The pizza here is nothing short of amazing. Every bite was bursting with flavor and had the most perfect texture – neither too crunchy nor too soggy. The ingredients are always fresh and it’s obvious that they put a lot of thought and love into their recipes. There’s no doubt that their homemade sauces and crusts contribute to the unique taste!

The toppings are also top-notch. From classic combinations like pepperoni and cheese, to more unique options like eggplant parmesan pizza, everyone can find something to enjoy here.

I would especially recommend Tony & Alba’s if you’re looking for a pleasant experience as well as great food – you won’t be disappointed! This place definitely deserves its reputation for being one of the best pizzerias in Santa Clara.

#10 Seniore’s Pizza

The first thing that struck me when I walked into Seniore’s Pizza was the inviting atmosphere. Everything felt cosy and calm, and it was clear that they took great care in creating a comfortable environment. The menu was also quite impressive – they offer everything from classic Neapolitan-style pizzas to some more contemporary takes on pizza such as BBQ Chicken and Caprese pizzas. All of the ingredients used are fresh and organic, so you can be sure that your pizza will taste great.

I opted for their signature Margherita pizza, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The crust had the perfect amount of crunchiness and the toppings were cooked just right, creating a delicious harmony of flavors as soon as I bit into my first slice. Plus, the portions are quite generous so you’ll certainly get your money’s worth!

#11 Premier Pizza

The first thing that struck me when I entered the restaurant was the vibrant atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they really know how to make a customer feel at home.

But on to the pizza: it was amazing! The crust was perfectly crisp and golden brown, the tomato sauce had just the right amount of zing, and the cheese was so gooey and delicious that it almost melted in my mouth. I even got to try some unique toppings like pineapple and jalapeño – all of which were incredibly tasty.

The location itself is also great – there’s plenty of parking and a great view of downtown Santa Clara from the rooftop seating area.

All in all, Premier Pizza is one of the best places for pizza in Santa Clara, if not the world! If you’re ever in town, make sure to stop by and try it out – you won’t regret it!

My first experience here was nothing short of a revelation. I tried one of their signature pizzas, and it exploded with flavor. The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and top-notch. It was truly a delight to behold!

Best Deep Dish Pizza – Pizz’A Chicago

As soon as I stepped foot into this pizza joint, I was smacked in the face with the unmistakable aroma of melted cheese and rich tomato sauce. It was like being hit with a delicious food truck. I couldn’t help but let out a slight drool, which I quickly wiped away to save face.

The ambiance of the restaurant was top-notch, with its dim lighting and walls adorned with posters of famous Chicago landmarks. It was like taking a trip to the Windy City without having to deal with the actual wind or the city.

Now, let’s get to the main event: the pizza. Oh boy, where do I even begin? The crust was a glorious mix of crunchy and chewy, like a harmonious marriage between a cracker and a breadstick. It was sturdy enough to hold all of the delicious toppings, but also soft enough to make me weak in the knees.
