#2 Venezia Pizza Restaurant
- Nice tourist spot
- Offers dessert
- Has a kid’s menu
I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff and they didn’t rush me to order. That gave me time to take in the atmosphere of this local pizza shop and admire their wide selection of toppings.
The pizza itself was outstanding; the thin, crispy crust was perfect and the generous portion of cheese and toppings felt like a gourmet delight. The sausage and pepperoni were both lean but flavorful, while the green peppers added just the right amount of crunchiness.

#4 Little Caesars Pizza
- Nice tourist spot
From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was going to be special. The staff greeted me warmly and were more than happy to answer any questions about their delicious offerings.
The smell of fresh-baked pizza wafting through the air was simply divine. I knew right away that the end result was going to be something special. Sure enough, when my pizza arrived at the table, it did not disappoint.
The crust had a perfect crunch and was loaded with flavor thanks to their signature blend of herbs and spices. The sauce also had a unique flavor that added another level of complexity to each bite. As for the cheese, it was just cheesy enough that every bite had an amazing stretchy stringiness that only comes from high-quality mozzarella.

#5 Maria’s Taste Of Italy
- Serves alcohol
- Has a kid’s menu
- Has insanely good dessert
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
- No delivery
The first thing that struck me about Maria’s was the atmosphere. The restaurant has a nice tourist vibe, which always makes for an enjoyable dining experience. I was also pleased to see that there was a kid’s menu and some vegetarian options available, since my nephew and his wife had come along with me.
But of course the real test was the food itself! My friends and I sampled a variety of their pies, and the verdict was unanimous – they were insanely good! From their signature cheese pizza to their specialty creations, everything tasted great. And just when we thought we were going to burst from eating so much pizza, they brought out some desserts that sent us into culinary heaven.
Other amenities at Maria’s were also impressive. They served drinks – both alcoholic and non-alcoholic – making it easy to raise a glass in appreciation of our meal. However, one downside is that they don’t deliver, so you’ll have to make the trip out if you’ve got a craving for truly top-notch pizza.
Overall, my visit to Maria’s Taste Of Italy left me feeling satisfied and full! Whether you’re looking for an evening out with friends or a family-friendly spot for dinner, I would highly recommend this Italian eatery as one of the best places to get pizza in South Haven MI!
#6 Tello Italian Bistro
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Has insanely good dessert
- No delivery
I was immediately taken aback by the incredible selection of alcohol and hard liquor offered at Tello. With a beer in hand, I got comfortable and dug into the pizza. The options were plentiful, but the one that really caught my eye was the one on top of a bed of French fries! Can you say ingenious?
The pizza crust was perfectly crisp, and the toppings were cooked to perfection – not too burned and not too raw. Every bite was incredibly flavorful – just enough spice, just enough saltiness. Needless to say, I devoured what seemed like an endless supply of delicious slices.
But then came dessert…Oh man! All I can say is that it was unbelievable. From homemade cannolis to panna cotta with dark chocolate chips, it’s absolutely stunning how delicious Tello’s desserts are. Trust me, don’t skimp out on dessert here – you won’t regret it!
Overall, Tello Italian Bistro seems like an ideal spot for tourists looking for a great dinner experience in South Haven MI. And while there isn’t delivery service available yet, the restaurant itself more than makes up for it with its fantastic food and atmosphere. Unless you’re looking to get pizza delivered directly to your door, I would highly recommend giving this place a visit when in town!
