My journey has been humorous and lighthearted – although, admittedly, not as lighthearted for my waistline! Now that I’ve done the hard work, it’s time for you to sit back and enjoy a slice of deliciousness.

#1 Get Rad Pizza

The atmosphere at Get Rad pizza is great. It’s casual and inviting, while still maintaining a certain charm. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed during my visit.

The pizza itself was the highlight of my night. It was cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and topped with fresh ingredients. The flavor was spot on and the toppings were just enough without overloading the slice.

I also tried their custom tacos which blew me away! They knew just how to put together a unique combination of flavors that made for an unforgettable meal.

I’m always on the lookout for fantastic pizza, but Get Rad Pizza has definitely earned its spot as one of the best pizzas in Lake Tahoe!

#2 Lake Tahoe Pizza Company

The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere – it felt like I was walking into an upscale restaurant, but with a relaxed sports atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, which made for a wonderful dining experience.

The menu was also great – they offered several vegetarian options and also had a kid’s menu. As a food critic, I’m always on the lookout for places that cater to kids as well as adults, and this place did not disappoint! And if you’re looking to catch a sports event or just relax with drinks after your meal, they have alcoholic beverages available too.

Now let’s get down to what I’m here for – the pizza! It was amazing; definitely some of the best pizza in South Lake Tahoe. All of their toppings tasted fresh, and their crust was light yet crispy. They even had dessert pizzas available after the main course which were delicious too!

My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery – but with such great food, it’s worth making a trip down to try it out yourself! All-in-all, Lake Tahoe Pizza Company is one of best pizza spots in South Lake Tahoe and I highly recommend it for tourists looking for an unforgettable experience.

#3 Gastromaniac Homemade Pasta & Pizza

When I first walked in, the aroma of fresh-baked pizza filled the air and the friendly staff greeted me with a smile. What more could I ask for?

Their menu offers something to satisfy even the pickiest eaters – including alcohol, a kid’s menu, some vegetarian options and even a few dessert options! I was also pleased to see that they use only locally sourced ingredients to make their pizza dough.

The crust is light but still crispy, while their signature sauce is both savory and flavorful. Topping choices range from classic combinations like pepperoni and mushroom to more creative combinations like bacon jam and goat cheese. My top favorite was definitely their smoked salmon pizza; it was mouth-wateringly delicious!

One downside of Gastromaniac is that they don’t offer delivery service – so getting your pizza would mean picking it up or having it delivered by a third party. But personally, I think this place is worth the effort! It certainly felt special to be able to sit down at home with my family and share an amazing meal together 🙂

I had a great time visiting the restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and friendly, and the food smelled amazing as soon as I walked in. They have a wide selection of pizzas to choose from, ranging from classic pepperoni to more adventurous options like Caprese Pizza with pesto sauce.

The pizza itself was out of this world. It was cooked to perfection, with a delicious crunchy crust that was just the right thickness, and a cheesy topping that melted in my mouth. The flavor combinations were spot on and really brought out the best in the ingredients used.

The service was also outstanding. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu, making it easy for me to make an informed decision about what I wanted.

Overall, I highly recommend anyone who is looking for some of the best pizza in Lake Tahoe to visit Mofo’s! You won’t be disappointed!

#5 Base Camp Pizza Co.

I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere – it had a rustic, outdoorsy feel that inspired me to stay longer and enjoy a few slices. Plus, being able to get an adult beverage made it even more enjoyable.

The menu offered options for everyone in our group. For my son there was the kid’s menu while I opted for one of their vegetarian pizzas (which was delicious!). They also offer hard liquor if you need something stronger than beer. The nice thing is that they have several great dessert options to finish off your meal.

The only downside I can think of is that they don’t offer delivery, but I never recommend getting great pizza delivered anyway!

All in all, Base Camp Pizza Co. is my go-to spot when I’m in South Lake Tahoe and looking for some of the best pizza around.

I was initially skeptical when I heard others raving about Whitecaps Pizza, but the moment I took my first bite, all my doubts melted away. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the sauce had a unique flavor that I can’t quite put my finger on.

Not only did they have a delicious pizza, but the atmosphere at Whitecaps Pizza was also awesome. The restaurant has a cool, laid-back vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy my meal. Plus, they were very friendly and accommodating when I asked for extra toppings.

My favorite thing about Whitecaps Pizza has to be their customer service – they go above and beyond to make sure that you have the best experience possible. They even offer free delivery on large orders, which is great for those looking for the best pizza in Lake Tahoe without leaving their homes.

Overall, Whitecaps Pizza is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for an amazing slice of pizza! It’s one of the best pizza places in Lake Tahoe and you’ll be glad you stopped by.

#7 MOUNTAIN SLICE cafe and creamery

As a traveling food critic, I’m always looking for the perfect pizza. The great thing about Mountain Slice is that they cater to the whole family! They have a kids’ menu and even some vegetarian options which is great for everyone.

I was really impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant – it’s a nice tourist spot with an old-fashioned feel. All of their pizzas are cooked in an authentic wood-burning oven, so you can guarantee you’re getting something fresh and delicious!

One downside is that they don’t offer delivery, but if you’re nearby, it’s definitely worth the trip. The staff was friendly and attentive and the service was fast!

I would highly recommend MOUNTAIN SLICE cafe and creamery as one of the best pizza places in Lake Tahoe – and that is after traveling around the world tasting some of the best pizza out there!

#8 Lake Tahoe AleWorX

The restaurant has something for everyone, from a kid’s menu to adult drinks! With its convenient location, it also makes for a great tourist stop. Whether you’re looking for a place to watch the big game or just want to spend some quality time with family and friends, Lake Tahoe AleWorX is the perfect spot.

The pizza itself is amazing. From thin crust to deep dish, they have it all. The toppings are fresh and cooked to perfection with the perfect blend of melted cheese – definitely making it one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted in South Lake Tahoe.

My only complaint would be that they don’t offer delivery but with such great pizza and an awesome atmosphere, it’s an easy drive or walk – so maybe not so much a downside after all!

My verdict? Lake Tahoe AleWorX offers up some of the best pizza in South Lake Tahoe! If you’re ever in the area, be sure to check them out!

#9 Jiffys Pizza Tahoe Vista

The atmosphere here is inviting and comfortable. The decor, reminiscent of an old American diner, is both charming and cozy, perfect for a night out with the family or a romantic date.

When it comes to pizza, Jiffys Pizza Tahoe Vista does not disappoint. Their crust is flavorful and crispy with just the right amount of chewiness. Toppings are fresh and plentiful, with something to satisfy everyone’s palate: from pepperoni to pineapple.

The staff at Jiffys Pizza Tahoe Vista are extremely friendly and helpful in guiding you through your pizza-ordering experience. They also make great suggestions about what toppings you should choose for your pizza, as well as what type of sauce would best compliment your chosen toppings.

On top of all this, their prices are surprisingly affordable. When I went they had a special on large pizzas that made it an even better deal! Finally their services were speedy; my pizza was ready in just a few minutes so I didn’t have to wait long before enjoying my meal.

All in all, Jiffys Pizza Tahoe Vista offers some of the best pizza in Lake Tahoe! The delicious flavors, reasonable prices and speedy service make this restaurant one that I would recommend time and time again!

When I first walked into Capisce? I was blown away by the atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into an inviting, family-oriented space. The staff is friendly and attentive and make sure to give you great service!

In terms of the food itself, it’s simply amazing. I tried a few different pizzas on the menu and each one was delicious. The cheese had that perfect gooey texture and flavor, while the crust was light yet flavorful.

Capisce? also offers a great selection of vegetarian options as well as a kid’s menu to cater to various dietary needs. Plus, they have some insane desserts! I’m still dreaming about their tiramisu!

This pizza place isn’t just good for dinner; it’s also a great spot to catch up with friends or watch sports games on the big screen TV. They even serve alcohol (including hard liquor), which makes Capisce? an exciting tourist spot and fun evening out.

The only downside is that this restaurant doesn’t offer delivery services — so it might not be ideal for those who are trying to stay home during these times.

#11 Grand Central Pizza & Pasta

From the moment I walked in, I got the feeling that this place was special. The decor is classic Italian and the warm, inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home.

The pizza was amazing! It had a perfect, crisp crust that was just thin enough to give it that signature crunch with every bite. The toppings were so fresh and flavorful – from the classic pepperoni to their signature Grand Central pizza topped with salami and gorgonzola cheese – it all melted together so nicely!

I also had the chance to try some of their pasta dishes, which were cooked to perfection and tasted like they were made from scratch.

#12 Slice of Sierra Pizza Co.

When I walked in, the quaint atmosphere and cozy dining room made me feel like I was at home. The first thing I noticed was the wood-fired oven which gave this place it’s unique character.

I ordered the “Trav’ler’s Delight”, a trio of speciality pizzas that lived up to its name! From the BBQ Chicken with bacon crumbles to the classic Margherita topped with fresh basil, each slice was a burst of flavor and a true delight.

The service was also outstanding – the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They even remembered my name when I came back for seconds!

All in all, Slice of Sierra Pizza Co. is one of my favorite pizza places, without a doubt! Highly recommended if you’re ever in South Lake Tahoe and looking for some delicious Italian food.
