I’m always on the lookout for something amazing, and this region has plenty to offer. In my quest to find the best pizza in Southern CA, I’ve sampled dishes from 12 different places. And it’s been quite the adventure – a slice of Detroit-style here, a shmear of cheesy Chicago deep-dish there.

I recently visited Pietrini and was beyond impressed with their tasty pies. From the classic margherita to the more creative options like fresh porcini mushrooms, rosemary, and ricotta — there’s something for everyone. And not just in terms of toppings — they offer both gluten-free and vegan versions of their pizzas, too!

Now comes the best part — the drinks! Pietrini has an incredible selection of craft beer and wines to go along with your pies. And if you’re looking for a sweet ending to your meal, they provide some delicious Italian desserts as well.

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery services. But that small inconvenience is more than worth it given the quality of the pizza here.

From the moment I walk in, it’s clear that the restaurant takes pizza seriously – they have a gigantic wood-burning oven dominating the center of the space. The menu is creative and varied – everything from classic margherita pizzas to wild creations like truffle bacon brie!

The pizza itself is fantastic – perfectly crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. Every bite was delicious and I’m sure I wasn’t the only one saying “mmmmmm!” in between bites.

The service was also great – super friendly staff who were always happy to answer any question I had about their pizzas or menu items.

The crust at Danny Boy’s is a near-perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. The sauce has the perfect amount of sweetness and acidity. There’s plenty of cheese that melts perfectly onto each slice. And the combination of toppings they use is full of flavor!

The atmosphere in the restaurant is inviting and relaxed, with great music playing in the background. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making sure each customer walks away satisfied.

I’ve tried a lot of pizza in my lifetime, but Danny Boy’s stands out from the rest! They are hands down the best pizza I have ever had in Southern CA … or anywhere else for that matter. The thin-crust pies here are simply delicious. The toppings they offer range from the classic pepperoni to some interesting creations like the “Eggplant Parmigiana” – which is definitely worth a try!

Plus, if you’re looking for a nice tourist spot for dinner, this is the place. It has a cozy atmosphere and friendly service that will make you feel at home.

Unfortunately, there’s one downside: no delivery. So if you want to enjoy Casa Bianca Pizza Pie, you’ll need to go in person. That being said, it’s definitely worth the trip!

Overall, I give Casa Bianca Pizza Pie two thumbs up for their excellent pizza and great atmosphere. This place is definitely one of the best in Southern CA!

The décor was inviting and cozy, with a hint of old-world charm. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable about all the different options.

I had the pleasure of tasting their signature Margherita pizza. It was love at first bite! The fresh mozzarella melted in my mouth, and it was perfectly complemented by the fragrant tomatoes and aromatic basil.

The crust had the perfect consistency – not too thick and not too thin – giving it the ideal balance of crunchy texture and chewy goodness. All together, it’s no wonder why this is one of Fuoco Pizzeria Napoletana’s most popular pies.

I wasn’t finished yet, though! I followed up with some of their decadent tiramisu for dessert – an absolute must-try for anyone looking for a sweet ending to their meal.

The pizza is made from scratch with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the dough is perfectly crunchy and not too thick or too thin. The toppings are delicious as well, with a wide selection of creative combinations available to choose from.

But what really makes me love Two Saucy Broads Pizza is their delightful staff. They are always friendly and have a great sense of humor that puts you at ease right away. I find myself looking forward to my visits, just so I can joke around with the wonderful people there!

And last but not least, the atmosphere at Two Saucy Broads Pizza is top-notch. It’s cozy yet lively and has a great neighborhood vibe. With its friendly staff, creative menu, and amazing atmosphere, it’s hard not to recommend this place. It’s not easy to find a great pizza place these days, which is why I was so pleasantly surprised when I visited Zelo. First of all, their crust is absolutely heavenly. In my opinion, it’s some of the best-tasting crust in the world! It’s thin and crispy on the outside and slightly chewy on the inside, perfect for piling up with ingredients.

The toppings at Zelo are also top notch! They have an incredible variety of fresh, delicious options that range from classic pepperoni to more gourmet ingredients like artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, and roasted garlic. Plus, they offer several vegan options so everyone can enjoy a good meal.

And last but not least, the sauce. Oh man! The sauce at Zelo is simply divine – sweet yet subtly tangy with just enough spice to give it a kick of flavor. It really brings out the flavors in all the toppings and makes for an amazing pizza experience overall.

All in all, Zelo is definitely one of my new favorite pizza places in Southern CA and without a doubt has some of the best pizza around. Do yourself a favor and go check it out – you won’t be disappointed!

Their crust is perfectly doughy with a delightful char on the bottom that can only be achieved through their wood-fired oven. The sauce was well seasoned and the amount of cheese used was just right.

My favorite pizza from dtown pizzeria was the pepperoni, which featured thick slices of juicy pepperoni, freshly shredded cheese, and lots of garlic. It was delicious!

The atmosphere at dtown pizzeria is laid back and unpretentious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, taking the time to make sure your order comes out perfect every time.

I can definitively say that their Sicilian-style pies are unlike any I’ve ever had before. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the cheese had an exquisite flavor that was just perfect. On top of that, the tomato sauce was packed with flavor and completed the pie quite nicely.

When it comes to service, I’d have to give Bonello’s New York Pizza a big thumbs up. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful throughout my visit – they even gave me some free samples!

I arrived at the restaurant and was immediately impressed with the cozy atmosphere. The smell of pizza filled the air, and I knew I had found a winner!

To start, we tried the Chef’s Special—a wood-fired pizza topped with Italian sausage and roasted red peppers. It was absolutely delicious—the crust was crispy and slightly charred, while the toppings were fresh and full of flavor.

Next up were some traditional margherita pizzas with accompaniments like garlic, olives, mushrooms, and basil. Again, deliciously cheesy and flavorful! It was almost too much to handle in one sitting!
