After visiting some of the most popular pizza places in town, I’ve come up with a list of the 12 best. I’m prepared to share my findings and hopefully help you narrow down your search for the perfect slice.

I was amused by all the different options available here – from thin-crust Neapolitan pies to deep dish New York-style pizzas and everything else in between. But despite the many types, it wasn’t hard to tell which were worth trying out!

#1 Sorrento Pizzeria & Restaurant

The first time I visited this restaurant, I was expecting a mediocre experience. But you know what? It completely blew my expectations away!

From the rustic Italian decor to the charming waiters and waitresses, there was an atmosphere of true hospitality and warmth that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. On top of that, the food at Sorrento Pizzeria & Restaurant is amazing.

The pizza crust was thin and crispy and had just the right amount of seasoning. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. Plus, they offer a wide variety of different types of pizzas ranging from traditional favorites to creative new recipes that are sure to please even the pickiest eaters. And if pizza isn’t your thing, they have an assortment of other Italian favorites such as calzones, pastas, and salads!

Overall, Sorrento Pizzeria & Restaurant definitely deserves all five stars and earns a place as one of my favorite pizza joints in Stamford CT – hands down. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food and a cozy ambiance then look no further than Sorrento Pizzeria & Restaurant!

#2 Quartiere

The atmosphere is really great, with a cozy and inviting interior that makes you want to stay for hours. Plus, they serve some hard liquor, so you can enjoy a great drink while you chow down on some pizza.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see that they have some vegetarian options – something that even the top pizza joints don’t always offer. And I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention their insanely good desserts! They are truly out of this world.

My one complaint is that they don’t offer delivery, but if you’re in Stamford CT and you can make it to Quartiere, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some of the best pizza around.

#3 Belltown Pizzeria

The atmosphere was pleasant and casual, with a nice outdoor patio perfect for summer days. The staff were friendly and helpful; they were always happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.

The real star of the show is their pizza – it’s some of the best I’ve ever tasted! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just the right balance of chewiness. Toppings were plentiful on each slice and fresh as can be, making every bite delicious. They also had creative toppings such as fig and gorgonzola cheese that really enhanced the flavor profile.

At the end of my visit, I left feeling satisfied, both physically and mentally. Belltown Pizzeria truly has some of the best pizza in Stamford CT, and I would highly recommend it to all my friends who love pizza!

#4 Sergios

When I first arrived at Sergios, I was pleased to see a cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The aromas coming from the wood-fired oven were heavenly!

My pizza experience started with their signature Margherita pizza. The tomato sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the cheese was so flavorful it almost melted in my mouth! They weren’t stingy with the toppings either; there was plenty of fresh basil and mozzarella for every bite.

The next day, I decided to try one of their specialty pizzas: The Funghi. Wow, this one really blew me away! It was loaded with juicy mushrooms and melted cheese that cascaded down onto each slice. The flavors blended together perfectly, making this one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!

Overall, Sergios has proven to be the best pizza in Stamford CT. From traditional favorites to unique creations, they have something for everyone’s taste buds. Highly recommended!

#5 Michael’s Pizzeria Restaurant

I had heard great things about this place before I made the trip, and it certainly did not disappoint. The pizza was truly top-notch – they understand how to balance flavors and textures perfectly. The base was a lovely chewy crust that had the perfect amount of crunchiness.

The toppings were out-of-this-world delicious too! They used fresh ingredients, which made each bite a memorable experience. The cheese was melted to perfection and their selection of meats was excellent. No matter what topping combination I tried, it always tasted amazing!

The atmosphere at Michael’s Pizzeria Restaurant is unbeatable too. It has an old-school Italian vibe with a modern twist. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home while we devoured our pizzas.

In conclusion, I can confidently say that Michael’s Pizzeria Restaurant serves some of the best pizza in Stamford CT – even better than what I’ve had elsewhere around the world!

#6 Slice of Stamford

The atmosphere was quirky and laidback, putting me in the perfect mood for downing some delicious pizza. As soon as I walked into the restaurant, I was hit with the signature scent of a wood-fired oven and knew that my taste buds were in for a real treat.

The menu had all sorts of tantalizing options that left me wishing I could try them all! From classic pepperoni and pesto combos to unique offerings like Thai chili chicken, there is something here for everyone. After much deliberation (and some drool slipping down my chin), I finally decided on an eggplant parmesan slice – and it did not disappoint!

I’m pleased to report that Slice of Stamford serves up some of the best pizza in Stamford CT. The dough was perfectly cooked, leaving a crunchy texture on the outside while remaining light and fluffy on the inside. toppings were flavorful and kept me coming back for bite after bite until what had once been the size of a pie shrunk to nothing!

#7 1234 Pizza

I had the pleasure of visiting 1234 Pizza recently, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped through the door, it felt like stepping into a true Italian pizza joint: cozy seating, delicious aromas wafting through the air, and friendly staff to guide me on my pizza journey.

The menu at 1234 Pizza is absolutely mouthwatering. For starters, you’ve got classic staples like cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and even vegan options. But then you move into some more inventive offerings – BBQ chicken pizza with bacon bits? A BLT white pizza?! Phenomenal.

But beyond just having great food choices, 1234 Pizza also shines in its execution of said menu items. Each bite is heaven! The crust is buttery and crispy with just the right amount of thickness. The sauce is flavorful with a hint of sweetness that really brings out the other ingredients. And don’t even get me started on their house-made cheese blend – talk about perfection!

#8 Colony Grill – Stamford

I was in for a pleasant surprise when I visited this restaurant. I ordered their Pizza Burger and it was perfectly cooked. The flavor of the mozzarella cheese combined with the tomato sauce created a totally unique taste that I just couldn’t get enough of.

The crust was thin but still fluffy and flavorful—an absolute delight! And the toppings were all top-notch, ranging from pepperoni to mushrooms to olives. It’s no wonder why Colony Grill – Stamford has been named one of the best pizza places in the city.

What I found most impressive, however, was their commitment to fresh ingredients. All their products are made with love and care which is evident in every bite you take. Each pizza is crafted with great attention to detail, ensuring that every patron gets a quality meal that they can enjoy.

It all began when I walked in and was immediately impressed with the inviting atmosphere. From the pleasant staff to the cozy décor, I could tell right away that Hope Pizza Restaurant was something special.

But it wasn’t until I tasted the food that my opinion was really sealed. That first bite of pizza was like taking a trip through Italy without ever leaving Connecticut. Every topping was cooked to perfection – from the crisp pepperoni to the gooey cheese – and it even had just the right amount of sauce.

As for their selection, it’s hard to beat with so many different styles of pizza available. Whether you’re looking for classic Neapolitan-style pies or something a bit more adventurous, Hope Pizza Restaurant has something for everyone! Plus, they offer a variety of other Italian meals, from pasta dishes to salads and sandwiches that are just as tasty as their pizza.

When I walked in, it felt like I had stepped into a slice of Italian heaven. The warm and inviting atmosphere instantly put me at ease, and the staff were incredibly friendly.

The pizza itself was simply amazing. The crust was crisp yet chewy, the sauce flavorful and tomato-y, and the cheese melted perfectly to create an unforgettable flavor combination. Every bite was filled with deliciousness that is beyond compare.

I also tried some of their other menu items, such as their salads and sandwiches. All I can say is that they don’t skimp on ingredients here – you get what you pay for!

The first thing that struck me when I walked in was the amazingly inviting atmosphere. With its cozy booths and friendly staff, Bronx House Pizza is a great place to relax while you wait for your meal.

The menu had plenty of options, but I knew immediately that I wanted to try the classic Sicilian. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The crust was crispy yet chewy, the sauce was flavorful and just the right amount of tangy, and the cheese melted perfectly over the top. It’s no wonder why people come from all over Stamford to get a taste of this delicious pizza!

I also tried one of their specialties, which came with olives, artichoke hearts and sausage. Such an inventive combination – definitely worth the trip! Needless to say, I’ll be back for more soon.

As soon as I walked into Pieology Pizzeria, I knew I was in for a treat. The smell of freshly baked dough and sizzling toppings wafted through the air, making my taste buds dance with anticipation. And boy, did Pieology deliver!

Their thin crust pizza was a work of art. It was so thin, I swear I could see through it. It was as if a master pizza chef took a paintbrush and delicately brushed the dough with just the right amount of sauce and cheese. And the toppings! I’ve never seen such a variety of toppings in my life. From the classic pepperoni to the more adventurous pineapple, there was something to please even the pickiest pizza connoisseur.

But what really caught my attention was their pizza-making process. At Pieology, you get to customize your own pizza from start to finish. It’s like being a Picasso of pizza! You choose the crust, the sauce, the cheese, and the toppings. It’s a symphony of flavors that you get to compose yourself. And as an added bonus, it was a great way to convince myself that I was being healthy by choosing the thinnest crust possible.
