As soon as I stepped through the doors, I could tell that this was going to be a good experience. The server was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.
The menu looks great with several vegetarian options, which is always nice for me. But what really stood out were the boozy drinks – beer, wine, and even hard liquor! What a pleasant surprise.
My pizza came out hot and fresh – this joint knows how to make a pizza! The crust was thin but not too thin – just the way I like it. The toppings were fresh and flavorful – definitely some of the best I’ve ever had. If pizza isn’t your thing, they also offer tasty salads and other Italian dishes.
For dessert, Apizza Regionale really shines – get ready for some insanely good treats! They have all levels of sweet satisfaction from classic favorites to house-made indulgent creations. Highly recommend getting something sweet after your meal.

I was immediately impressed with the atmosphere of the restaurant. The waitstaff was friendly and the atmosphere was lively, making it a great tourist spot.
The menu had some great options for everyone in my party, including vegetarians and those who wanted to imbibe in an alcoholic beverage or two (including hard liquor!).
But really, it all comes down to the food – which did not disappoint! The pizzas were simply divine. It was cooked to perfection and you could tell that every ingredient had been carefully chosen. It is clear why this place is one of the most popular pizza places in town!
The only downside with A Mano Kitchen & Bar: no delivery service available. But if you have time to enjoy it there, I highly recommend it. Plus, don’t forget to save room for dessert – they have some insanely good treats!
#3 Pavone’s Pizza – Syracuse, NY

The atmosphere of Pavone’s is fantastic. It has a family-friendly vibe and the staff are really friendly, always willing to make sure that your meal is perfect. I’ve been lucky enough to sample some of their signature pies and they did not disappoint.
The Margherita pizza was truly divine – the San Marzano tomatoes were perfectly cooked, the cheese stretched out like velvet, and the basil gave it a fresh herbaceous finish. The crust is light and crisp with just the right amount of chewiness.
If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, then I highly recommend their Prosciutto Arugula Pizza – tender slices of prosciutto combined with freshly picked arugula and melted fontina cheese, all on top of an incredible garlic-infused crust. It will transport you to foodie heaven!
Pavone’s also serves up some delicious appetizers and salads. Their fried calamari with spicy marinara is beyond delicious, as is their antipasto salad that features salami, capicola ham, provolone cheese, fermented vegetables, pickled peppers and artichokes.

As soon as I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The smell of the fresh dough and juicy tomatoes wafting through the air was enough to make my mouth water. Once I ordered my favorite combination – mozzarella, pepperoni and roasted peppers – it arrived at my table piping hot.
The texture and flavor were simply out of this world! The crust was perfectly cooked so it held up to all the delicious toppings, while still being light and fluffy in the center. The mushrooms added great earthiness to the pizza, while the pepperoni gave it a nice spicy kick. And that roasted pepper…my gosh! It was sweet yet had just a hint of bitterness that sent my taste buds into overdrive.
Overall, this pizza on its own is enough to make me come back again and again; however, Nick’s Tomato Pie also has some of the best sides too! Their garlic bread was flavorful and crunchy on the outside with a pillowy soft center – just divine! Their salads have always been fresh and never soggy – definitely recommended to get your veggies in before indulging your pizza cravings.

On my first visit, I ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The mouth-watering combination of spicy pepperoni, melted cheese and thin crust satisfied my taste buds in a way few other places have been able to do.
The friendly atmosphere at Mario & Salvo’s only adds to its charm. Not only did my server make me feel right at home, but the entire staff made sure that my dining experience was top-notch.
At the end of my meal, I can confidently say that Mario & Salvo’s Pizzeria has some of the best pizza in Syracuse NY. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or an evening out with family and friends, this is definitely the place to go!

The first thing I noticed was the smell of freshly baked dough coming from the ovens. I could tell they take pride in the ingredients they use to make their pizza because the aroma was nothing like anything I’ve ever experienced before!
When ordering my pizza, I chose a classic combo – pepperoni and cheese – which really let the flavor of their homemade sauce shine through. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside while staying soft and fluffy on the inside. And as for the toppings, flavourful and plentiful were two words that came to mind.
All in all, Little Mac’s Pizzeria serves up some of the best pizza in Syracuse NY and you’ll definitely be back for more once you try it!

The first thing that struck me as soon as I stepped inside the restaurant was its friendly atmosphere – the staff were all incredibly welcoming and hospitable. In fact, the owner even made sure to offer me his best slice of pizza for free!
But on to the pizza itself – it was exquisite! The crust was slightly crispy, but still doughy enough to make it soft and delicious. The sauce had a perfect balance of sweetness and spice, with just enough herbs added in to give it a kick. The cheese was gooey and flavorful, while the toppings (I chose pepperoni and mushrooms) added just the right amount of flavor.
Overall, I’m very impressed with Varsity Pizza Syracuse. Not only did they provide an inviting atmosphere, but they also make some of the best pizza in Syracuse NY. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a full meal with friends, Varsity Pizza Syracuse is definitely worth checking out!

To top it off, their selection of toppings was vast and varied. Whether you wanted pepperoni, veggies or some more daring options like anchovies or artichokes, they had it covered. I can only imagine what a pizza Christmas tree with all these toppings would look like – probably delicious!
The ambiance at Tangy Tomato adds an extra element of fun to your meal. The walls are adorned with pizza paraphernalia, and you can even order a “pizza card” for your next visit for discounts on certain menu items. There’s also a cool arcade area where you can play classic video games while you wait for your pizza. Overall, this place really knows how to make its customers feel at home!

When I walked in to the restaurant, the first thing that caught my eye were the numerous awards they have won over the years. It was clear that Pavone’s is a well-recognized establishment for great pizza!
I decided to order their signature pie, and let me tell you – it didn’t disappoint. The dough was light and fluffy, with just the perfect amount of crunch when I bit into it. The sauce had a sweet tanginess to it that was incredibly delicious, and paired perfectly with the layer of cheese melted on top of it.
What really set this pizza apart from others was its topping selection. Each one of their pizzas comes with an assortment of three toppings – and trust me when I say this – their selection will knock your socks off! Every ingredient is fresh and flavorful; every bite packed a punch of flavor that gave my taste buds an incredible surprise.
