After a month of tasting all sorts of pizzas across the world, I finally made it to Tarpon Springs. I was ready for a real treat, and boy did I get one! After tasting 12 different pizza places in town, I came up with a list of the best ones. From greasy slices to cheesy pies, I tried it all and believe me when I say that you won’t be disappointed with any of them. #1 Piper’s Scratch Pizza Shop

The crust is always perfectly cooked and doughy, with just the right amount of crunch. The sauce is bold and flavorful without being too overwhelming, and the selection of toppings rivals any other pizza joint I’ve been to.
The staff at Piper’s Scratch Pizza Shop really know how to make a pizza – they take their jobs seriously but in a lighthearted way that makes you enjoy your time there. Everyone from the receptionist to the chef to the manager is amazingly friendly and welcoming, so it feels like home.
The atmosphere at Piper’s Scratch Pizza Shop is great for hanging out with friends or grabbing something for dinner on the way home. And if you sit at one of their tables, you can watch them make the pizzas right in front of you!
I highly recommend going to Piper’s Scratch Pizza Shop for some of the best pizza in Tarpon Springs. It’s not just delicious – it’s a whole experience that you don’t want to miss out on!

On the plus side, they have a great kid’s menu, so it’s perfect for families. And even though I’m not a vegetarian, they have some great veggie options. The desserts were delightful, too! I also really appreciate that they offer drinks – good beer and wine to pair with your pie? Count me in!
The only downside is that there’s no delivery, but visiting this restaurant as a tourist spot was worth it for sure.
All in all, Fireside Pizza Cafe is the perfect place to satisfy your pizza craving while discovering a new city and having some fun. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me choose the perfect pizza.
I decided to go with a classic cheese pizza with pepperoni – definitely the right choice! It was cooked to perfection with a perfectly crispy crust and generous amounts of cheese and toppings. It tasted even better than it looked!
But it wasn’t just the pizza that impressed me. The appetizers were equally as tasty; I highly recommend the garlic knots – they get my seal of approval for sure. And their selection of beers and wines goes well beyond your average restaurant – I had a great time trying different varieties during my visit!
Overall, I’d say Back Draughts Pizza has some of the best pizza in Tarpon Springs – no question about it! If you’re looking for an enjoyable evening out with some truly delicious food, this is your spot.

The restaurant itself has a cozy, yet luxurious atmosphere. I loved the subtle ornate touches that give the place its unique flavor. The highlight for me was the pizza though! Every bite was an explosion of melted cheese and flavorful spices that made me feel as if I was dining in an Italian trattoria!
Their menu offers an array of pizzas from classic margaritas to more daring creations like white pizzas and vegan options. My favorite was their Queen’s Supreme pizza which hit all the right spots with its pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and onions.
I also sampled some of their other dishes such as garlic breadsticks, fried calamari and even spaghetti carbonara – all equally delicious! Don’t forget to try their Italian gelato for dessert! It’s truly out of this world!

I’ve tasted pizza from all over – from Naples to Rome and beyond – so I can confidently say that this place definitely lives up to its reputation! The crust was just the right thickness, with a delicious crispiness that held in all the amazing flavors of their sauce and toppings.
The restaurant itself had an inviting atmosphere as well. It’s casually decorated with sports memorabilia and the patio has a great view of the golf course next door. The servers were friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations for what pizza to try next.
All in all, I highly recommend Fairway Pizza & Sports Page Pub for anyone looking for a delicious pizza experience. It’s hands down the best pizza in Tarpon Springs!

I’m never one to shy away from a good pie and let me tell you, Rick’s New York Pizza definitely exceeded my expectations. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was greeted by the owner himself – Rick. He welcomed me with open arms and really made me feel like part of the family.
The pizza was unlike anything else I’ve had before – it was as if all of my favorite flavors combined together in every bite. The sauce was sweet, the cheese was oozing with flavor, and the crust had a nice crunch to it. Every bite of pizza just melted in my mouth; I could hardly believe how good it tasted!
Another great thing about this place is their atmosphere – it truly felt like being back home in New York City. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they even showed me around the kitchen so I could get a behind-the-scenes look at how they make their delicious pizzas!

The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing, making it the perfect spot for a night out with family or friends. The quality of their ingredients is unmatched—the crust is perfectly thin, the sauce has a great balance of acidity and sweetness, and the mozzarella is always freshly shredded.
But what really sets Plum Tomato apart from other pizza restaurants are the toppings! I’ve had my fair share of pepperoni-and-sausage combos but their meatball topping is to die for! It’s tender yet packed full of flavor, and one bite will make you feel like you’re in Italy!
The service at Plum Tomato was also top notch—the staff made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. They even offered me a complimentary dessert when they heard I was a food critic!

#8 Domino’s Pizza
From the moment I stepped into Domino’s Pizza, I felt like I had been transported to a magical realm of pizza goodness. From the cheerful staff, to the delightful scents of melting cheese and savory sauce, I knew that my taste buds were in for a treat!
When it came time to order, there was no shortage of choices. Everything from classic Hawaiian or pepperoni pizzas to more exotic creations with chicken and artichoke were available. There were also gluten-free and vegan options for those with special dietary needs.
The pizza arrived piping hot and with a perfect balance of freshness, flavor and texture. The melted cheeses complemented the crunchy crust flawlessly, while the sauce was robust yet mellow enough not to overpower the other ingredients. In short, it was a masterpiece!
I’ll definitely be returning to Domino’s Pizza again soon – they have definitely earned my seal of approval as having some of the best pizza in Tarpon Springs!
#9 Marco’s Pizza

The first thing that caught my eye walking into Marco’s was their colorful mural of Italy, which instantly transported me to the birthplace of pizza. The decorations definitely added a warm and welcoming vibe to the atmosphere.
When it was time to order, I was delighted to find a diverse selection of pizza options. From the classic pepperoni to their specialty pies like the “Tarpon Springs” with artichoke hearts, feta cheese, tomatoes, and olives – they had something for everyone!
I got my usual large pepperoni pizza and one sip of the ice cold root beer set off fireworks in my mouth. The crust was nice and crunchy on the outside with just the right amount of chewiness to it. And each bite was packed with flavor! I could tell that each ingredient was fresh and carefully selected for quality.
To top everything off, the service at Marco’s Pizza was excellent. Our server kept his composure even when we asked him a million questions (we were really indecisive!). He made sure our glasses were always full and gave us lots of helpful recommendations.
All in all, Marco’s Pizza is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some great pizza in Tarpon Springs. It gets two thumbs up from me!

The first time I stepped foot in Gino’s, there was an overwhelming smell of dough and garlic wafting through the air that was so comforting it just made me want to stay forever. The atmosphere was perfect – from the checkered tablecloths to the tiny jukebox in the corner – it really felt like I could have been back in a small pizzeria in NYC.
The service was great, with friendly staff that were always quick to get my slice of pizza ready. The slices were huge, and tasted absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of mozzarella cheese and tangy tomato sauce. And best of all, their prices are more than reasonable for such good quality!
On top of all that, Gino’s New York Style Pizzeria – US 19 Location also has an impressive selection of craft beers on tap. So after you’re done devouring your slice (or two!) you can kick back with an ice cold brew or two while you enjoy some classic Italian tunes on their jukebox.

The first thing that struck me when I arrived at Angelo’s Italian Restaurant was the cozy atmosphere. From the large mural of an Italian coast on one wall to the cheerful waitstaff, it was clear that this was a great place to get some quality pizza.
Once I got my hands on a slice of their classic cheese pizza, I knew I had found something special. The crust had a perfect crunch and the cheese melted in my mouth with each bite. Plus, they offer lots of great topping options like pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms.
More than their delicious pizza, one of the best parts about Angelo’s Italian Restaurant is their dedication to quality ingredients. They use only organic tomatoes and 100% mozzarella cheese for their pizzas—no skimping here! All these factors made for an unforgettable experience and helped cement this restaurant as having some of the best pizza in Tarpon Springs!

When I first walked in, I was instantly delighted with the wide selection of pizzas they had to offer. From the classic pepperoni to the unique Mediterranean, they had a little bit of something for everyone. But what really set Westshore Pizza apart from all other pizza places was their use of fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations.
Their pizzas are cooked in a special wood-fire oven that gives it an extra crunchy crust and amazing flavor. As soon as I took my first bite, it was clear why people come back here time and again – this pizza is simply delicious! The cheese was perfectly melted and the toppings were just the right amount of spicy.
Overall, I’d give Westshore Pizza my highest recommendation. If you’re ever near Tarpon Springs, make sure to stop by and try their famous wood-fire pizza for yourself – you won’t regret it!
