#1 Brown Dog Pizza
- Nice tourist spot
- Great place to watch sports
- Has some vegetarian options
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Has a kid’s menu
- No delivery
When I walked in to this restaurant, I was immediately taken aback by their wide selection of beer, wine, and hard liquor. After a long day exploring the town and its tourist attractions, this place definitely hits the spot!
Not only is Brown Dog Pizza a great place for adults to relax but it’s also kid-friendly. They have an extensive kids menu that is sure to please even the pickiest eaters. And if you’re a vegetarian like me, you’ll be happy to hear they’ve got a few vegetarian offerings as well.
I love watching sports while I chow down on some pizza and Brown Dog Pizza is great for that too – they’ve got huge flat screens everywhere so you never miss out on the game or fight!
The only downside I found with Brown Dog Pizza was that they don’t offer delivery. You’ll need to come here yourself in order to get your hands on some of the best pizza in Telluride!

#2 Crazy Elk Pizza
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Has some vegetarian options
- Nice tourist spot
- Offers dessert
- No delivery
What really sets this pizza place apart from the rest is their selection of alcoholic beverages. Even though I’ve cut down on my drinking, I can certainly appreciate the fact that Crazy Elk Pizza offers an array of beers and hard liquor for those who are looking for a more libatious experience.
For vegetarians, there are thankfully a number of options to choose from. The pizza here is creative and unique; it’s not your run-of-the-mill pepperoni and cheese! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the vegetarian options.
If you’ve got some room for dessert, Crazy Elk Pizza also serves up a few sweet treats like brownies and cookies to top off your meal. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s also a great tourist destination with plenty to explore in Telluride!
The only downside is that they don’t do delivery – so if you’re looking to get some delicious Crazy Elk Pizza delivered right to your door, you’ll have to find another establishment. But if you’re able to make it out here, then trust me when I say that this is the best pizza in town!

The atmosphere is great – it’s a nice spot for tourists to visit, and a great place to go with friends or family to watch sports. Plus, they serve alcohol, which is always a plus! It even has hard liquor options. And if you’re looking for something less intense, there are plenty of non-alcoholic drinks available as well.
Their menu is expansive – it has all the classic pizza varieties (complete with gluten-free options) that you know and love, plus some vegetarian options and even a special kid’s menu. And don’t forget the desserts – how can you resist their delicious homemade ice cream?
Unfortunately, High Pie Pizzeria & Tap Room doesn’t offer delivery, but that’s a minor inconvenience considering just how good the pizza here is. I can confidently say that this place serves up some of the best pizza in Telluride!

#5 Rustico Ristorante

- No delivery
The atmosphere is great. It’s a nice spot for tourists, and they also serve alcohol (and hard liquor, no less)! I’m also happy to report that there are some vegetarian options available on the menu.
But don’t stop with the pizza – because the desserts here are insanely good! Chocolate mousse? Tiramisu? Yes please!
My only problem with Rustico Ristorante? They don’t offer delivery. So if you want their award-winning pizza, you’ll have to go get it yourself. But trust me when I say that it’s worth it!
Rustico Ristorante has my vote for easily the best pizza in Telluride. So go ahead and indulge – you won’t regret it!
#6 La Piazza del Villaggio Ristorante
- Nice tourist spot
- Serves alcohol
- Has some vegetarian options
- Has insanely good dessert
- No delivery
From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming, and the staff were so friendly that I felt like a part of the family.
The food at La Piazza del Villaggio Ristorante is outstanding. They have some great vegetarian options and their liquor license makes it the perfect spot to end your evening with some of their insanely good desserts!
But the real star of this show is their pizza. It’s truly remarkable! From the perfectly soft and chewy crust to the perfectly seasoned sauce, every bite will leave you wanting more. As soon as you take that first slice you’ll know why they’re considered one of Telluride’s best spots for pizza.
The only downside to La Piazza del Villaggio Ristorante is they don’t offer delivery, so you’ll have to go there yourself to enjoy it in person! But trust me, it’s worth it! This is definitely one destination that should be high on anyone’s list when traveling through Telluride – it’s simply the best pizza in town!
