The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. I love the rustic brick walls and wood-burning pizza ovens – it really adds to the experience.
The menu is quite unique, offering both traditional pizzas as well as gourmet specialty pizzas. I opted for a Prosciutto & Fig Pizza and it was delicious! The crust was thin yet chewy and the toppings were cooked perfectly. The fig jam added just enough sweetness to offset the saltiness of the prosciutto.

Best Deep Dish Pizza – Pizza Pub
- Has insanely good dessert
- Serves alcohol (and hard liquor!)
- Nice tourist spot
Now, let me tell you why this is such a revelation. As someone who has tasted pizza in every corner of the world, I’ve encountered all kinds of dough disasters and cheese calamities. But when I bit into that thick, golden crust at Pizza Pub, it was like an angel descended from pizza heaven and kissed my taste buds.
Let’s start with the crust. It’s thick and buttery, with just the right amount of crunch. It’s so substantial that you could use it as a weapon against any pizza naysayers out there. And trust me, after one bite, they’ll be converted to pizza-loving believers.
Now onto the cheese. Oh, the cheese. It’s gooey, melty, and stretches like a yoga instructor at a pizza retreat. One bite, and you’ll be in ooey-gooey cheese heaven, wondering why you wasted your time on any other pizza before finding Pizza Pub.
And finally, the toppings. Whether you’re a classic pepperoni lover or a fan of pineapple on pizza (yes, I’m one of those people), Pizza Pub has you covered. They pile on the toppings like there’s no tomorrow, ensuring each bite is a flavor explosion in your mouth.
But wait, there’s more! The ambiance at Pizza Pub is delightfully kitschy, with walls adorned with retro pizza memorabilia that will take you back to the good old pizza days. It’s the perfect place to indulge in your love for deep dish pizza while surrounded by pizza nostalgia.
So, if you find yourself in Wisconsin Dells and craving a pizza experience that will leave you in a state of deep dish bliss, look no further than Pizza Pub. Trust me, as a seasoned pizza connoisseur, this place is the real deal.
Best Thin Crust Pizza – The Villa Pizza Company
- Serves alcohol
- Offers dessert
- Nice tourist spot
- Has some vegetarian options
Let me tell you, finding good pizza in a place known for water parks and cheesy attractions is like spotting a unicorn riding a roller coaster. But lo and behold, The Villa Pizza Company exceeded all of my expectations.
First things first, their thin crust is so thin, I wondered if it had been on a pizza diet. It was as thin as a wafer, but with that perfect crunch that makes your taste buds dance with joy. I could practically hear the crust saying, Take another bite, Edward!
The toppings were not just thrown on haphazardly, oh no! Each ingredient was carefully arranged like a work of edible art. The sausage was nestled between the little hills of pepperoni, and the mushrooms were spread out like they were posing for a group photo. I almost felt guilty destroying their perfectly orchestrated composition, but the flavors that exploded in my mouth made me forget about all that.
The atmosphere of the place was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff that made me feel right at home. And the best part? The Villa Pizza Company didn’t break the bank. I firmly believe that you don’t have to sell a kidney to enjoy amazing pizza.
So, if you’re in the mood for some incredible thin crust pizza in the land of water slides and tourist traps, look no further than The Villa Pizza Company. The flavors will make you want to cannonball into a pool of marinara sauce.
