I was greeted by friendly staff who were more than happy to answer my questions and make sure I had a great experience. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, with red checkered tablecloths adding to the classic Italian pizzeria vibe. The menu had something for everyone, from vegan options to gluten-free crusts.
But don’t let all that distract you from the pizza! The star of the show is definitely the food here, and Red & Louie’s did not disappoint. Each slice of pizza was packed with flavor – the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I visited Bonello’s New York Pizza for dinner yesterday, and it was one of the most enjoyable pizza experiences I’ve ever had. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, the sauce was just the right amount of tangy and sweet, and the topping selection was simply amazing!
From their classic New York-style pizza to their unique specialty pizzas like the Truffle Mushroom Prosciutto with garlic cream sauce, there was something for everyone. My favorite part of dinner though were the side dishes. Their broccolini parmesan garlic bread is a must try – and definitely exceeded my expectations!
The staff at Bonello’s New York Pizza are also super friendly – they made sure our experience went beyond satisfactory. Every plate that came out looked like a work of art. Truly some of the best pizza in The South Bay!

Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the staff and taken to a cozy seat at an Italian-style table, complete with red checkered tablecloth. I’m not gonna lie, the presentation of the restaurant already exceeded my expectations.
The menu had a good selection of pizza pies, from classic margherita to more unique creations like eggplant parmesan and chicken alfredo. I settled for their signature “Mickey’s Special” which boasted pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms and olives. Each ingredient was perfectly cooked and seasoned in true Italian fashion – no greasy aftertaste here!
The real showstopper however was the thin-crust pizza. Crispy yet still doughy on the inside, it was almost like biting into a cloud. It was hands-down one of the best thin-crust pizzas I’ve ever had!
Overall, my experience at Mickey’s Italian Delicatessen & Liquor Store hit all the right notes. From the friendly service to the delicious pizza pie – this is definitely THE place for great dining in The South Bay!

I stopped by the restaurant during my most recent trip to the area and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. So good was the pizza that I’m almost convinced Papa Guido is actually a wizard of some sort!
