In a place known more for apples and wine, I was pleasantly surprised by the number of high-quality pizza places I visited in the area. Of the twelve pizzerias I sampled, here are my findings and who took home the title of “Best Pizza in Tri Cities.”

I’m definitely not an expert on pies – but after eating enough pizza to last me a lifetime (or at least until my next trip), I learned a few things about what makes an amazing slice. Prepare yourself for some humorous experiences and delightful bites as we explore which restaurant earned the title.

#1 Papa Johns Pizza

The atmosphere inside is warm and inviting, with the smell of fresh-baked pizza wafting through the air. The staff are always friendly and courteous. But let’s get to the important part: how does the pizza taste? In short, it’s delicious!

The crust is crunchy and perfectly cooked – not too thick, but not too thin either. The toppings are generous and flavorful, from classic pepperoni to loaded veggie pizzas. The sauce is tangy and slightly sweet, without being overly salty or overpoweringly acidic. And the cheese – oh my goodness – the cheese! It’s truly some of the best cheese I’ve ever had on a pizza.

Overall, if you’re looking for great pizza in Tri Cities, Papa Johns Pizza should be your first choice. From the pleasant atmosphere to the delicious food, it’s a great spot for dinner or a casual lunch with friends and family.

#2 Excalibur Pizza

The restaurant had a great atmosphere, with well-decorated Italian-style decor. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and drinks they offered.

As far as the pizza goes, it may be one of the best pies I’ve ever eaten. The crust was perfectly crisp on the bottom and fluffy on top, with just the right amount of seasoning. The cheese was flavorful and melted perfectly over all of the toppings, from classic pepperoni to veggies like artichoke hearts and mushrooms.

Overall, Excalibur Pizza is a great pizza spot and definitely worth checking out if you’re in Tri Cities. It’s easily some of the best pizza I’ve ever tastes – hands down!

#3 Stick+Stone Wood-Fired Pizza

The atmosphere of the restaurant is really chill and inviting, with large comfortable booths to sink into and enjoy your meal. The wood-fired ovens give the pizzas a unique smoky flavor that you just can’t get with any other type of pizza.

My favorite pizza was the classic cheese pizza, it had the perfect combination of melty cheese and a crisp crust. The pepperoni was also delicious, allowing me to savor all the flavors and textures in every bite.

The service was top-notch too – they were friendly and efficient, making sure my food came out quickly and perfectly cooked.

When it comes to finding the best pizza in Tri Cities, Stick+Stone Wood-Fired Pizza comes out on top! It’s a great spot for anyone looking for an unforgettable pizza meal.

#4 Excalibur Pizza 2

From the moment I stepped through the door of Excalibur Pizza 2, I was struck by how welcoming and inviting the atmosphere was. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and had a passion for making great pizza – all of which made it a pleasure to visit.

The pizza itself was amazing. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, with just enough crunch to give it a nice texture. The toppings were fresh and full of flavor, and the combination worked together to create an unforgettable taste sensation. And on top of that, the slices were large enough to satisfy even my healthy appetite!

Of course, I was also very impressed with their selection of side dishes. From roasted vegetables to garlic knots, there’s something for everyone here.

Overall, I can confidently say that Excalibur Pizza 2 serves up some of the best pizza in Tri Cities! If you’re ever in town looking for a delicious meal, this is definitely the place to go!

#5 Brick House Pizza

I mean, where else could you get the ultimate combination of beer, kids menu, tourist spot and a great place to watch sports? It’s like the four food groups all combined in one perfect package.

Plus, their pizza is out of this world! The crust is just crispy enough and they have a huge selection of toppings. And the sauce! So much flavor! It’s like they cooked it with extra garlic butter or something – it’s that good.

My only gripe is that they don’t offer delivery. But if you have time to spare, Brick House Pizza should definitely be on the top of your list. To sum it up: best pizza in tri cities? Hands down!

#6 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

The moment I walked in the door, I was welcomed by a bright and friendly staff who truly made me feel at home. The atmosphere was inviting, with vibrant colors and decorations that truly made me feel like I was part of their family.

I decided to try out the classic pepperoni pizza, but with a twist – it comes unbaked! Sure, at first this seemed odd to me, but I soon found out it actually make sit more enjoyable! With Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza, you can take your pizza home and bake it up exactly how you want. No more waiting around for someone else to make it a certain way.

The real cherry on top for me was the quality of the pizza itself. The crust was thin and crispy, just how I love it. The cheese melted perfectly and the sauce was just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Add to that some delicious pepperoni slices and you have yourself one delicious pizza!

All in all, my experience with Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza was incredible. It provided me with everything I expect from a great restaurant: delicious food, friendly service, and an overall pleasant atmosphere. Without question this place serves up some of the best pizza in Tri Cities – so don’t wait another minute; order your own pie today!

#7 Eatz Pizza and Deli

The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere – the hustle and bustle of cooks busily preparing pizzas, the fragrant smell of baking cheese, and the sound of sizzling pepperonis all combine to create an inviting experience.

When it comes to their menu offerings, Eatz Pizza and Deli doesn’t disappoint. They offer an array of traditional and specialty pizzas that showcase the best flavors from around the globe. There are over 20 different pizzas on their menu, so no matter what you’re craving you’ll find something to satisfy your taste buds.

The pizza is served hot with golden crusts and bubbling cheese. The flavor combinations are unique – for example I tried the Ecuadorian Pizza which was topped with black beans, cilantro, queso fresco, and red onions – definitely something I haven’t seen elsewhere! The slices were generous in size yet still light enough not to leave me overly full afterwards.

All of this combines to make Eatz Pizza and Deli one of my favorite spots for pizza in Tri Cities – without a doubt they have some of the best pies here!

#8 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

Since their pizzas are cooked fresh and take-n-bake, it is truly a unique experience that makes this place stand out in the Tri Cities area.

The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes ordering easy and efficient. The menu offers an array of traditional pizza options; the classic marinara or you can go for something more creative like BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger or Taco Grande. I couldn’t help but get a little overwhelmed when trying to decide what kind to get!

It’s also great that they offer so many different doughs, cheeses and toppings so you can really customize your slice according to your preferences. My partner got the gluten free crust with vegan cheese and I chose the regular crust with extra cheese – two great choices that came together perfectly for us!

No wonder their slogan is “Love at 425 Degrees” – Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza definitely knows how to make a quality pizza! And every time we order one, we feel like it just might be the best pizza we’ve ever tasted! I had the opportunity to sample their unique ingredients and recipes, and I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations. Their pepperoni pizza was heavenly – it was packed with flavor and had a good balance of red sauce and cheese. The crust had a nice crunch, perfect for dipping in ranch dressing.

The other pizzas I tried were also delicious. The buffalo chicken pizza was amazingly tangy, yet still had a subtle sweetness that added depth. And then there’s the bacon cheeseburger pizza which was just decadent – topped with real bacon bits it made for an amazing concoction of flavors.

But what impressed me the most wasn’t just their amazing pizza but the atmosphere too. The restaurant was clean, the service friendly and efficient, and the prices amazingly affordable – you can definitely get your money’s worth at Papa Johns Pizza!

As a food connoisseur who has traveled all over the world tasting different types of pizza, I can confidently say that Papa Johns Pizza is one of the best in Tri Cities – no doubt about it!

#10 Rocco’s Pizza

The atmosphere at this pizza joint is unbeatable. It’s the perfect combination of cozy and lively, with a crowd of happy customers enjoying their meals and having a great time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, so I always feel right at home when I visit.

And the food! Wowza. Rocco’s Pizza serves up some of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever had in my life! As somebody who knows pizza, I can confidently say that this restaurant has perfected the craft. Their pies are loaded with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. My go-to order is the classic pepperoni pizza – it’ll never let you down!

#11 MOD Pizza

Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised to find a rustic yet modern atmosphere. It definitely had the feel of an Italian trattoria! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and I could tell that they take real pride in the restaurant’s atmosphere.

But the real star of this show is their pizza. MOD Pizza has perfected their craft when it comes to pizza making. They use a unique combinations of ingredients that create a delicious flavor explosion. Every single one of their pizzas is made with fresh-tasting ingredients, like premium tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil. Each one is also cooked to perfection in their own wood-fired ovens.

The experience doesn’t stop there – you can customize your pizza however you want, with endless toppings available. And best of all, you get it for just one price regardless of how many toppings you choose!

MOD Pizza has won me over as one of my regular pizza spots in Tri Cities. I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for the best pizza around!

#12 Rocco’s Pizza

I was greeted warmly upon entering and was immediately drawn to the pleasant atmosphere. The decor was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance between modern and classic elements.

The pizza itself is truly something special. The crust is cooked perfectly – not too thin and not too thick – and the subtle sweetness of the sauce works incredibly well with the salty flavor of the cheese. The toppings really bring it together, from roasted peppers to fresh herbs. Every bite is simply delicious!

Not only does Rocco’s Pizza make fabulous pizza, but they have a great selection of sides too! From garlic breadsticks to cheesy potatoes, there’s something for everyone.
