I’m accustomed to eating pizza all over the world and have tasted some of the best pizzas around, so trust me when I say Truckee has some great options. Today I’m reviewing 10 pizza places in Truckee and am ready to name the top spot for pizza – it may surprise you!

I’ll be rating each place on a five star system, from crusts that are crispy or soggy, sauce that sacrifices flavor or knocks it out of the park, perfect toppings or too many toppings; there’s no shortage of things to consider. So grab yourself a slice (or two) and let’s dig into the best pizza in Truckee!

#1 Glenshire Pizza Company

I hadn’t heard of the place before, so I was pleasantly surprised with what I found. When you walk into the restaurant, the friendly staff and lively atmosphere made for a great welcome.

The pizza here is definitely award-winning. The crust is perfectly cooked and just crunchy enough – and all of the toppings are incredibly fresh! Plus, they have vegetarian options as well as a kid’s menu.

But what really sets Glenshire Pizza Company apart is their selection of drinks. From craft beers to delicious wines, there really is something for everyone. And if that’s not enough to convince you, their beers pair wonderfully with their pizzas. It might be worth it to go just for this alone – trust me!

That said, I must mention that they do not offer delivery services – but after tasting their pizza firsthand, you won’t mind the extra effort at all! Plus, they even offer desserts to cap off your meal in true Italian style. So if anyone were looking for the best pizza in Truckee, look no further than Glenshire Pizza Company!

#2 Great gold

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to the charming decor with a warm and inviting atmosphere; they really know how to make you feel at home.

The pizza crust was crispy and light, not too thick or too thin. The toppings were full of flavor and perfectly cooked; no soggy edges here!

My favorite part about this restaurant was the selection of alcoholic drinks – beer, wine, cocktails, and even craft beers on tap. It really added an extra layer of enjoyment and pleasure to the meal.

For the vegetarians out there, rest assured that Great Gold offers plenty of options for you as well. From veggie pizzas to portobello mushroom sandwiches – there’s something for everyone here!

If you’re still hungry after all that pizza (which is unlikely!), then don’t worry – their dessert menu will take care of those cravings. Pies, cakes, ice cream… oh my!

The only downside I can think of is that they don’t offer delivery service… but it’s worth it to come into the restaurant and enjoy their cozy atmosphere while feasting on some of the best pizza in Truckee!

#3 Rubicon Pizza

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew that this was a place where I would find some delicious pizza. The walls were adorned with awards for their pies, and the smell of freshly-baked pizza dough was in the air.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, quickly getting me seated and bringing me a menu to choose from. After a few minutes of deliberation, I decided on one of their specialty pies: the Hawaiian Pizza.

I have to say, the pizza was incredible! The crust was golden brown and perfectly crispy, while the toppings – including fresh pineapple and bacon – provided great flavor. Additionally, the sauce had just enough sweetness to balance out all of the savory elements.

Overall, Rubicon Pizza is definitely worth checking out if you’re in Truckee looking for some truly delicious pizza. When it comes to finding the best pizza in town, but sure to give Rubicon Pizza a try!

First off, I will say that the atmosphere is perfect for a tourist spot. Whether you’re looking for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic night out, Village Pizzeria is the place to be. But most importantly, they serve alcohol!

I was also quite impressed by their pizza selection. You can get anything from classic cheese to creative creations like Hawaiian and veggie pizzas. And they make all of them with fresh ingredients and generous portions.

While I would have liked it if they had delivery, it wasn’t a deal-breaker for me because the quality of their pizzas more than made up for it. In fact, given how delicious their pizza is, Village Pizzeria might just be the best pizza in Truckee!

#5 Zano’s Family Italian & Pizzeria

As soon as I stepped foot inside this restaurant, it was clear that they had something special. The decor was inviting and the atmosphere was perfect for a sports-viewing evening or dinner with the family. The real star of the show, though, is their pizza. Let me just say – it’s insanely good! Every bite is bursting with flavor and delight. And if you’re in need of a drink (or two!) to wash it down, Zano’s serves alcohol – including hard liquor!

Even if you have kids, don’t worry about them being left out; Zano’s has an excellent kid’s menu as well as vegetarian options so everyone can find something to enjoy. And after dinner comes one of the best parts – dessert! Their desserts are indulgent, sweet and simply delicious – definitely worth trying out!

The only possible downside I can think of is that they don’t offer delivery. However, when you try their amazing food, it’ll be worth the trip out there.

In short, I would highly recommend Zano’s Family Italian & Pizzeria for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Truckee. Go give them a try and experience some true Italian flavor!

#6 Best Pies Pizzeria & Restaurant

From the moment I stepped foot in the door and breathed in the scent of freshly-baked pizza, I knew this place would be something special. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a cozy atmosphere that creates a pleasant dining experience.

When it comes to the pizza, there really isn’t much more I can say: it’s simply delicious! The thin but chewy crust is cooked perfectly and topped generously with a variety of fresh vegetables, meats and cheeses. My favorite is their classic Margherita Pizza – simple but oh so flavorful! I also recommend their unique options like “White Pizza” and “Meatball Madness;” they never fail to satisfy my taste buds.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and clearly passionate about providing an excellent customer experience. Prices are reasonable for such high-quality food; you’ll definitely get your money’s worth here!

All-in-all, Best Pies Pizzeria & Restaurant is definitely one of the best pizza places in Truckee. If you’re looking for genuine Italian style pizza made with care, you won’t be disappointed here!

#7 Pizza On the Hill

The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively and welcoming. The service is top-notch and the staff are friendly. Plus, it’s a great tourist spot with lots of photo opportunities.

The pizza at Pizza On the Hill is delicious! The crust is crispy, yet not too thick, and every topping is fresh and flavorful. Plus, you can get special sauces to dip your pizza in which just elevates it to a whole other level.

The best part about Pizza On the Hill is that they have something for everyone in your party. They offer a kid’s menu with smaller portions, various alcoholic beverages for adults (thank goodness!), and even desserts like ice cream and cake!

My only complaint about Pizza On the Hill is that they don’t offer delivery… yet. Hopefully they’ll add that in the near future so more people will be able to enjoy their delicious pizza without having to leave their homes!

Overall, I highly recommend visiting Pizza On the Hill if you’re ever in Truckee looking for some of the best pizza around!

From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this place was special. The space is inviting with a cozy atmosphere and décor to match. Plus, there’s a full bar serving up some delicious drinks – something that really makes Front Street stand out from the rest of the pizza places in town.

The pizza was outstanding! It was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and flavor. They have a large selection of pizzas to choose from, so I had difficulty deciding on just one. Luckily, my server offered great advice and helped me pick out one that fit my taste buds perfectly.

What more could you ask for in a pizza joint? Well, maybe delivery service – unfortunately, Front Street Station doesn’t offer this option. But if you’re looking for an enjoyable evening out or want to tantalize your taste buds with some of the best pizza in Truckee, then go ahead and make your way over to Front Street Station Pizza Co., it’s worth it!

#9 Round Table Pizza

This place has it all – atmosphere, taste and amazing service. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting with a fireplace at one end of the restaurant to keep things warm and a large bar in the center that is great for groups.

The pizza itself was fantastic! They use only the freshest ingredients and even bake their pizzas in an authentic brick oven, giving them a unique flavor. From classic pepperoni to gourmet creations like artichoke hearts topped with feta cheese, the menu is full of delicious options. And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even create your own pie with an incredible variety of toppings!

But what really put this place over the top for me were the friendly staff members who are passionate about pizza and truly care about giving customers an excellent experience. Every question I had was answered with knowledge and enthusiasm.

If you’re looking for the best pizza in Truckee, Round Table Pizza is definitely worth a visit!

#10 Pianeta

The atmosphere was fantastic—it’s a great place for tourists to come, especially since they serve alcohol (and hard liquor!). They even had some nice vegetarian options which was awesome.

Plus, I can’t forget the dessert! The desserts were insanely good and something I won’t forget anytime soon.

That being said, it does lack in one area: delivery. That could be a downside if you’re looking for convenience, but going there is definitely worth it.

Overall, I think Pianeta has some of the best pizza Truckee has to offer and is well worth a visit!
