I’m no stranger to trying new kinds of pizza from every corner of the world – I’ve had some interesting concoctions, to say the least! But even so, I’m pretty sure that Utah County holds some hidden gems when it comes to lesser-known pizzerias.

That’s why I decided to do a comprehensive review of only the best pizza places in Utah County. After visiting 12 different establishments across the region, I’m proud to present my findings and share with you my verdict on who serves up the best slice around. So get ready for a fun and lighthearted guide (and hopefully a few chuckles along the way!) as I uncover what Utah County has to offer in terms of delicious pizzas.

#1 Pogo’s Great Pizza & Chicken

The flavor was SO delicious, and the crust was just the right balance of crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside. They don’t skimp on their toppings either – no matter what you order, you can expect generous amounts of cheese, sauce, veggies, and meats. And let me tell you, after working up an appetite traveling around the world, I am so delighted to have found such a tasty spot!

The service was great too – my server was extremely friendly and helpful with my order and they even went out of their way to give me a recommendation for a beer that would pair perfectly with my pizza.

Now when people ask me where the best pizza in Utah County is, I’m excited to share Pogo’s! It’s definitely worth making the drive.

#2 Mozz Artisan Pizza

My visit to Mozz exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was social, inviting and trendy. I felt like this place catered to the young energy of the area, making it a great tourist spot for visitors and locals alike.

The food selection is top notch! I had their signature Four Cheese Pizza with Spicy Italian Salami and it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Not only did they have other delicious options, but they even had some vegetarian options too – making it an ideal spot for everyone. And if you want something sweet after your meal, they even offer a dessert option.

On top of all that, they also serve alcohol! What’s not to love about that?

The only downside is that there isn’t any delivery service available here – so if you are looking for a pizza delivery you might need to look elsewhere.

Overall, Mozz Artisan Pizza is worth every penny and it deserves to be recognized as one of the best pizza spots in Utah County!

#3 Two Jack’s Pizza

Let’s start with the crust: what a delightfully crisp and golden brown outer crust that held up to all those delicious toppings! It was light and airy in the center while providing a nice crunch when you bite into it.

The sauce was flavorful and balanced, not too sweet or sour, which made me appreciate it even more. The cheese was melted perfectly — gooey yet firm enough to help hold all the toppings in place. And the toppings were simply divine! Not only were they fresh and tasty, but they were also generous portions that reached every corner of my pizza slices.

Of course, no good pizza experience is complete without an amazing atmosphere. Two Jack’s Pizza delivers on this front as well with its vibrant music, friendly staff, and cozy seating area. From start to finish, I felt like I was part of something special — an unforgettable pizza experience!

#4 Summit Pizza Co

The atmosphere is lively with a bustling dining room full of pizza lovers. The waitstaff was attentive and eager to offer recommendations from the extensive menu of pizzas, sides, and drinks.

But I’m here for the pizza, and Summit delivered! Their toppings were fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. The crust was cooked just right; not too thick and not too thin. Plus, they offer vegan cheese (which was surprisingly delicious!).

My favorite was the House Specialty – bacon, pepperoni, jalapenos, red onion, olives, tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was loaded with flavor and had just the right amount of sauciness. For dessert we tried their Tiramisu Pizza which had a unique taste of espresso-infused cream cheese layered over a sweet Italian biscuit base both topped off with a chocolate drizzle. Delicious!

If you’re looking for some great tasting pizza in Utah County then look no further than Summit Pizza Co. They’ve earned my hearty recommendation as one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted!

#5 SLABpizza

My first experience here was unforgettable. From the moment I stepped in, it felt like a party! The decor was lively and upbeat, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. And then I tasted their pizza…wow!

The crust had just the right amount of crunch and flavor. The sauces were flavorful and vibrant, and let’s not forget about the cheese! It was melted to perfection! Even the toppings were full of flavor – there wasn’t any dullness or lack of quality at all.

Overall, SLABpizza is definitely worth a visit if you’re in Utah County looking for great pizza. It’s easily one of my top spots for pizza around here, and I definitely recommend checking it out when you get the chance!

#6 Via 313 Pizza

I was blown away by how delicious their pies were. The crust was perfectly thin and crunchy and the sauce had a great, tangy flavor that really elevated the flavor of each slice. The toppings were also cooked to perfection, which made every bite a delight.

The atmosphere at Via 313 Pizza is also top-notch. It’s small and cozy, with just enough tables to accommodate a large party if needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, definitely taking care of their guests.

To top it all off, their prices are very affordable, making Via 313 Pizza an absolute steal! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Utah County!

#7 Summit Pizza Co

From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was inviting and relaxed. The staff welcomed me warmly and was helpful in answering my questions. They even took time to explain their ingredients and cooking process.

My pizza arrived shortly after ordering, and I could tell immediately that this would be a special experience. The crust was thin but not too thin, and it had a nice crunch to it. Topped with cheese, sauce, pepperoni, and mushrooms, the flavor combination was delicious!

The toppings were plentiful – as if they put one topping on top of another! They also had a wide selection of other toppings that you could choose from. After tasting my pizza, I’d say Summit Pizza Co is on par with some of the best pizzas I’ve tasted in Italy or New York City – maybe even better!

All in all, Summit Pizza Co has earned its right to claim the title of having some of the best pizza in Utah County. Between their warm hospitality, flavorful pizza creations and affordable prices, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing pizza experience!

#8 Two Jack’s Pizza

The pizza here is made with the freshest and tastiest ingredients. The dough is perfectly thin and crispy and the sauce has just the right amount of sweetness. They also use some interesting ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes, feta cheese, and pesto which make their pizzas even more delicious.

The atmosphere at Two Jack’s Pizza is top-notch as well. The interior is cozy and inviting with high ceilings, exposed brick walls, and rustic wood furniture. It definitely gives off a hip vibe that makes it feel like you’ve stepped into a pizzeria in Italy.

The service here is prompt and friendly – all of the servers are knowledgeable about their pizza selection, so don’t worry if you don’t know what to order or how to customize your pie. They have plenty of options for everyone from vegetarians to carnivores alike.

I’d highly recommend Two Jack’s Pizza if you’re looking for the best pizza in Utah County! You won’t be disappointed!

#9 Nico’s Pizza

I’m not sure what made the pizza so special, but it stood out to me from the moment I took my first bite. The crust was thin and crisp and the flavor of the sauce was spot on! The selection of toppings was plentiful and all tasted fresh.

Another highlight of Nico’s Pizza is their welcoming atmosphere. They have a cozy dining area that is perfect for relaxing with friends after a hard day’s work. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable too, which makes your experience enjoyable.

My favorite thing about Nico’s Pizza is the variety they offer – they have classic pizzas like pepperoni and Hawaiian as well as gourmet specialty pies like pesto chicken and Mediterranean veggie. They even offer take-out and delivery options so you can enjoy their delicious pies from the comfort of your own home – how great is that?

All in all, if you’re looking for some seriously tasty pizza in Utah County, Nico’s Pizza should be at the top of your list!

#10 MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company

The restaurant itself has a bright, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for a lunch date or dinner with friends. The wood-fired ovens are the real star of the show, though, as they deliver pizzas that have just the right amount of crunch and flavor.

The menu here is extensive and varied, offering everything from classic Neapolitan pies to gourmet offerings like white truffle pizza, spicy chicken pizza, and pesto-bacon pizza. I must say that I was especially impressed with the latter – it had just the right amount of smoky bacon and garlicky pesto on top of a thin-crust base. Other than this specialty pie, I also recommend trying their Margherita or Quattro Formaggio options – both are delectable!

My one complaint about this place is that it can get quite pricey if you order lots of toppings and sides. Still, considering how delicious everything tastes here, it’s worth it in my opinion.

All in all, MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company offers some of the best pizza in Utah County; whether you’re looking for classic Italian flavors or something more creative and gourmet, there’s something for everyone here!

#11 Firebird Pizza & Pasta

I visited on a Friday night and was immediately impressed by their atmosphere. The wood-fired oven was burning away in the kitchen and the smells were tantalizing. It’s clear that Firebird Pizza & Pasta takes great pride in the craft of pizza making.

The pizza itself? Delicious! The crust was thin and crispy – just how I like it – with a generous amount of cheese and other toppings piled high. The flavors were truly wonderful: the pizzas have an authentic Italian flavor that even my Italian friends would approve of!

Service-wise, Firebird Pizza & Pasta did not disappoint. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about their menu; they recommended several dishes that I would never have thought to try on my own, but all of them were delicious.

#12 Fat Daddy’s Pizzeria

I first stumbled upon this pizzeria when I was trekking the Wasatch Mountains and stopped in for a quick lunch. After one bite, I knew that this place has the “X Factor” when it comes to pizza. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce was just the right amount of tangy, and the toppings were cooked to perfection. It’s no wonder why locals keep coming back!

Despite its simple look, Fat Daddy’s Pizzeria has something special going on. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and they have outdoor seating with beautiful views of Utah Valley. But what really made my experience memorable was the friendly staff and excellent customer service. They were always willing to answer questions about their ingredients or help me find something new to try.

Overall, Fat Daddy’s Pizzeria is a must-try for anyone looking for an amazing pizza experience in Utah County — it’s definitely worthy of my highest rating!
