I took it upon myself to try out the 12 pizza places in the area and give you my honest opinion on who serves up the best slice.

It’s no easy task to compare a small mom and pop pizza place to a large chain, but I’m up for the challenge! I tried everything from gourmet thin crust to deep dish, and traditional New York style cheese pies.

So, if you’re looking for an unbiased review of Westport’s pizza scene, then look no further. With a humorous yet critical eye, I’m ready to share with you which places serve up the “gouda” stuff. Let’s get started!

#1 Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill

I arrived at Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill with my expectations set high; after all, they had been recommended to me as the place to find the best pizza in Westport, and I’m happy to report that they definitely met my expectations.

The atmosphere was inviting and relaxed, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. The crust of their pizza had a pleasant crunch while still being light enough that it was easy to eat multiple slices without feeling weighed down. The sauce on their pizzas was savory yet not overpowering and the toppings were plentiful and fresh.

I must say, I’ve tasted a lot of pizza around the world but I can honestly say that Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill serves some of the best I’ve ever had! If you’re looking for an amazing pizza experience in Westport CT, look no further than Nikos Pizza & Greek Grill.

#2 Tutti’s Restaurant

I’ve eaten pizza in Rome, Chicago, and Naples, but Tutti’s has something special. From the moment you walk in the door, it smells like a slice of a far-off Italian paradise. The ambiance is wonderful – there’s rustic wooden furniture, an exposed brick wall, and a lot of greenery.

The pizza itself is nothing short of amazing. The crust is crisp with the perfect amount of chewiness on the inside. As for the toppings, they have everything from classic pepperoni to more creative combinations like pesto and asparagus. Each bite was flavorful perfection!

To top it off (no pun intended), the service was top-notch! Our server offered helpful suggestions for toppings based on our preferences, and even brought us samples for us to try before we decided on our order. You can always tell when someone takes pride in their work and that’s certainly true at Tutti’s Restaurant – they want each customer to leave feeling happy and satisfied with their meal.

All in all, I highly recommend Tutti’s Restaurant if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Westport CT – they get two thumbs up from this world traveler!

#3 4 Brothers Pizza/Cuatro Hermanos

This restaurant offers a wide variety of pizza selections, from classic cheese to more exotic options like shrimp Alfredo. Whatever your taste buds desire, 4 Brothers Pizza/Cuatro Hermanos can satisfy them!

The atmosphere is casual and laid-back, which makes it the perfect spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a delicious slice. The staff are friendly and attentive, always making sure that my dining experience was the best it could be.

The pizza itself was incredibly tasty! It had a perfectly crunchy crust and was topped with a diverse selection of fresh ingredients. The flavors were balanced perfectly, and each bite just seemed to get better.

All in all, 4 Brothers Pizza/Cuatro Hermanos serves up some of the best pizza in Westport CT! If you’re looking for great food in an inviting atmosphere, make sure to check this place out!

#4 Joe’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant

The restaurant itself is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual dinner with family or friends. But the pizza is what really steals the show. On my first visit, I had their signature Joe’s Special – tomato sauce, provolone cheese, pepperoni, and olives – and it was incredible! The crust was perfectly crunchy yet with a soft center that melted in your mouth. The flavors were balanced and delicious.

I’ve had more than my fair share of pizzas in my travels but this one at Joe’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant has set the bar high for future pies. The toppings are fresh and generously put on, the dough is flavorful yet not overly greasy (you know what I mean). All-in-all, this pizza joint delivers a unique experience that you won’t find anywhere else!

If you’re ever in Westport CT looking for some great pizza, Joe’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant should definitely be your go-to spot. For me personally, it’s become an absolute must every time I’m in town!

#5 Romanacci Westport Train Station

The first thing I noticed when I approached the restaurant was the smell of freshly made pizza wafting through the air. That alone drew me in like a magnet!

Inside, the restaurant was bustling. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and I even heard one customer exclaim how it’s “the best pizza in town!” My excitement grew!

I quickly ordered a slice of their classic Margherita pizza and dug in. The first bite was amazing – the dough was soft and chewy, the sauce had just enough spice to be flavorful without being overpowering, and there were generous helpings of cheese and basil sprinkled on top. It was an absolute delight!

I also tried some of their other pizzas that boasted unique flavors such as pineapple and jalapeno or broccoli and mushrooms, but none could compare to the classic Margherita pizza. I have to say that this is one of my favorite restaurants for getting great-tasting pizza in Westport CT. If you’re looking for an excellent pizza experience then look no further than Romanacci Westport Train Station!

#6 Angelina’s Trattoria

From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The cozy atmosphere and traditional Italian decorations gave me a great feeling of comfort. Then came the pizza. Wow, what can I say? The toppings were fresh and flavorful, the crust was perfectly cooked – crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside – and it was all doused in cheese that had just enough ooey-gooeyness to make me wish for just one more slice.

The service at Angelina’s Trattoria was also top notch. Every staff member from the server to the cook went out of their way to make sure my dining experience was a pleasant one. It’s clear they take real pride in what they do.

#7 Sammy’s Southport Pizza House

On my most recent trip to the area, I felt compelled to try Sammy’s famous pies. Let me just say – it was truly incredible. From the moment I entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. From the fresh ingredients to the homemade pizza dough, everything was top-notch.

The staff were all friendly and made me feel at home. The menu had a great variety of alternative specialty pizzas, so I knew I must try one! I ordered the Prosciutto & Arugula pie with fresh Roma tomatoes and goat cheese. All in all, it was an amazing experience!

The pizza itself had a crispy crust and was topped with an abundance of flavorful toppings. It melted beautifully in my mouth and each bite was delicious. Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted! In addition to this savory pizza experience, I also sampled some of their homemade garlic knots – you won’t find better anywhere else!

All in all, if you are ever looking for great pizza in Westport CT – Sammy’s is definitely your go-to place. Their attention to detail and quality ingredients make them stand out above the rest!

#8 Toscano Pizzeria

The crust is nothing short of perfect – crispy and flavorful, with just enough saltiness to give it that extra oomph. The sauce is also outstanding – not too sweet and not too acidic, but a nice balance of both. The cheese is fresh, creamy, and melted to perfection.

I was truly impressed by the creativity of their toppings! Whatever you choose, they’ll be sure to satisfy your craving. From classics like pepperoni and sausage to unique combinations like pesto-mushroom or pineapple-bacon—they have something for everyone!

Plus, the staff are incredibly friendly. Not only do they offer great service, but they always throw in a few extra complimentary treats!

Overall, Toscano Pizzeria has secured its spot amongst the best pizza places in Westport CT! If you haven’t been there yet, you’re missing out on some seriously delicious pies!

#9 Romanacci – Norwalk

The first thing that stood out to me was the ambiance. It has a cozy, rustic feel that’s inviting and warm. The service was top-notch too. Everyone I encountered was courteous, friendly, and attentive.

I’m often unimpressed with menu choices at pizza joints, but Romanacci – Norwalk blew me away! They offer an impressive assortment of classic Italian pizzas as well as unique specialty pies you won’t find anywhere else. My favorite was their “True Italian” pizza, which features a thick crust loaded with delicious toppings like prosciutto cotto and artichoke hearts. It was totally delicious!

The quality of the ingredients is what takes this place from great to legendary. Everything is fresh and flavorful, from the dough to the sauce to the cheese. The level of detail they put into each pizza is really remarkable! They even serve up vegan options which I thought were surprisingly tasty.

#10 Golden Pizza

When I walked in, the smell of dough and tomatoes filled the air. The traditional decor immediately made me feel right at home. The waitstaff was cheerful and attentive, making sure that I was taken care of during my stay.

The pizza was nothing short of amazing! It was cooked to perfection with a crispy crust and cheesy topping that melted in my mouth. The toppings were fresh and flavorful – from bacon to pepperoni, and every other topping that you can imagine!

I would definitely recommend Golden Pizza to anyone looking for some great pizza in Westport CT. On my most recent trip to Rizzuto’s, I was met with delicious smells and an inviting atmosphere.
Their pizza crust is perfectly thin and crispy, and their toppings are delicious. I especially enjoyed their spicy Italian sausage which had great flavor and kick! Their perfectly-melted cheese was the perfect compliment.

The service at Rizzuto’s was friendly and quick, which was great since I was in a rush on this particular visit. The waitstaff provided great recommendations when asked, which definitely made choosing our dinner easier.

I was immediately impressed when I walked into this traditional Italian pizzeria. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The menu has something for everyone, ranging from classic Italian pizzas to more unique creations like the Hawaiian-style ‘pineapple pizza’.

The pizza itself was outstanding! It had a perfectly thin crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and it was topped with fresh ingredients that added a nice flavor punch to every bite. The ingredients were top quality too – I could definitely taste the difference between this pizza and other pizzerias in the area.

The prices were also reasonable – definitely good value for money! Overall, Jordan’s Restaurant & Pizza has become my go-to spot in Westport CT for great pizza. If you’re looking for the best pizza in town, this one should be at the top of your list!
