My first stop was at Robbie T’s Pizza and I knew as soon as I stepped foot in the door that this pizza was going to be something special. The smells of fresh dough cooking and spices mixing in the air set the tone for a great tasting adventure.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu choices, especially when it came to the different types of toppings available. We went with the classic Margherita pizza and man, did it bring back memories! The crust was perfectly crispy on the bottom, yet still had a nice chewy texture. The cheese was fresh, creamy and oh so flavorful. And each bite filled up with juicy tomatoes and fragrant basil leaves that added a wonderful balance of flavors in our mouths.
Overall, I can confidently say that Robbie T’s Pizza is one of the best pizzerias around! Highly recommended if you’re looking for an Italian-American feast that will leave your taste buds wanting more.

The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the pizza… oh my goodness! From the classic Margherita to the unique Gaucho—Forno Napoli Pizza & Italian Kitchen has something for everyone.
The quality of the ingredients used in each dish is top notch. The crusts are crispy but still chewy, and the toppings are generous and fresh. And let me tell you, that special house-made tomato sauce is what sets this place apart from all others. It truly is a taste of Pizza Heaven!
I would also highly recommend any of their amazing appetizers or salads that come packed with delightful seasonings and flavorful ingredients.

#3 West New York Pizza
The crust was just the right thickness and chewiness, and the cheese was nicely melted and seasoned. The tomato sauce had wonderful flavors of oregano and garlic that were a perfect combination.
The toppings were generous and varied. You could get creative with your order, or go with a classic like pepperoni. There’s something for everyone here.
The atmosphere at West New York Pizza is laid back and friendly. It’s a nice place to grab lunch or dinner to share with friends or family. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves while they chowed down on their delicious pizza slices.
To top it all off, the prices are really reasonable — especially considering the quality of food you’re getting! West New York Pizza is definitely one of the best pizza places in Wny, hands down!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was charming and inviting. The service was excellent and I never had to wait long for my order.
My first experience at Cella Luna Pizzeria was their signature dish, the ‘Cella Luna’ pizza. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew this was something special. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, while the topping – a combination of fresh mozzarella, pesto, mushrooms and olives – came together in a delightful harmony of flavors that simply exploded in my mouth.
I also tried their other pizzas – from Margherita to pepperoni and even Hawaiian – each one was as delicious as the last! And don’t get me started on their garlic knots…they definitely deserve an award for best knot in WNY!

#5 La Tinajita Pizzeria Cubana

The dough was light and airy, with just the perfect amount of crunch. The toppings were so flavorful and fresh that I had to make sure I tried them all.
The atmosphere was great, too. It has a very Cuban vibe with its upbeat music, fun decorations, and friendly staff who are always willing to give recommendations (which were all spot-on).
My favorite part, though, was the really unique flavors they had to offer. Their special Cuban pizza combined traditional Cuban flavors like pork and black beans in a way that blew my mind! Plus they have a few other specialty pizzas that are definitely worth trying as well.

#6 Lovejoy Pizzeria
The dough is light and airy with a perfect crunch, the toppings are flavorful and always cooked to perfection, and the sauce is just the right amount of sweet. Even after eating pizza in Italy and NYC, Lovejoy Pizzeria stands out as one of my favorite pizzas.
The atmosphere at Lovejoy Pizzeria is cozy enough for a romantic dinner but lively enough for a night out with friends. The service staff is helpful and friendly, making sure you’re getting exactly what you want.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting with a cozy wood-burning hearth, rustic brick walls, and a lively outdoor patio. I knew I was in for a treat the second I stepped inside!
The menu was extensive and filled with interesting combinations of flavors. I had a hard time deciding what to order, but eventually chose their classic Margherita pizza with extra homemade mozzarella cheese.
When my pizza arrived, it looked like a work of art! The crust was perfectly crisp and the cheese melted in my mouth. To top it all off, the homemade sauce had just the right balance of tangy and sweet. Kudos to the chef!
I must admit that this pizza experience exceeded my expectations, especially considering Hydraulic Hearth’s relatively laid back environment. For me, there’s no better way to enjoy a delicious meal than with good friends in an atmosphere that allows you to relax and have fun! And who knows? Maybe next time they’ll be serving up some of the best pizza in Wny!
#8 Mineo’s South Pizzeria

As a food critic, I tend to be quite particular about the pasta and sauce and the taste has to be just right. And I can say with absolute certainty that Mineo’s pizza is spot on!
The crust is cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of crunch, and the simple combination of cheese, tomato sauce, and toppings create an experience like no other.
Not only is their pizza out of this world, but their sides are stunning as well! The garlic knots are pillowy soft on the inside while still having a great crispness on the outside. And their cheesy bread? Simply divine.
I know that some people might think that all pizza tastes alike, but trust me when I say Mineo’s pizza stands head and shoulders above its competitors. All in all, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Wny then look no further than Mineo’s South Pizzeria — you won’t regret it!

#9 Johnny’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

From the moment I walked in, I knew that this place had something special. From the inviting atmosphere to the delightful smells wafting out of the kitchen, it was clear that this was a restaurant with a whole lot of love behind it.
The pizza itself was where Johnny’s really shone. The crust was perfect – golden brown, thin and crispy on the edges yet tender and chewy in the middle. The sauce used was tangy and robust without being overpowering or overly-spicy; it complemented the other ingredients perfectly. And then there were the toppings: from classic pepperoni to more adventurous selections like pancetta, basil and brie, every single one tasted fresh and flavorful.
Johnny’s Pizzeria & Restaurant is definitely one of my favorite places for pizza in Wny, if not throughout all of my travels! If you’re craving a great slice (or two), make sure you stop by – you won’t regret it!
#10 Gino’s NY Pizza ( University Plaza )

The atmosphere is fantastic and inviting. The restaurant is quite spacious with lots of room for groups both large and small.
Moving to the pizza, Gino’s NY Pizza blew my taste buds away! From the freshly made dough to the perfect blend of cheese and sauce – I knew I was in for a treat. They also have a wide selection of toppings to choose from, so you can make your own masterpiece.
I highly recommend trying their signature pizzas – they are amazing! Whether you prefer thin-crust or thick-crust, you will find something here that fulfills your craving.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that their pizza is absolutely delicious. The crust is thin and chewy, the toppings are fresh and flavorful, and they have a great selection of specialty pies.
My personal favorite is the classic cheese pizza. After one bite, it’s clear why this establishment has been an Wny staple for years – it’s simply the best! My taste buds sang in delight as saucy mozzarella oozed out of every slice.
What really impressed me most was not just the quality of the food but also the hospitality I received from Joe’s staff. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure my experience was enjoyable.

It’s not every day that you find a pizza place this good. The crust is light and fluffy, the sauce has a perfect balance of flavor and sweetness, and the cheese is melted to perfection.
The toppings are fresh and plentiful. I’ve had lots of specialty pies here—everything from veggie lovers to meat-lover’s—and they’re all delicious. The staff even let me build my own pizza with any toppings I wanted!
My favorite thing about Wise Guys Pizza is the service. They really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. Not only do they offer delivery but carryout as well. Plus, they give discounts on large orders and even offer coupons for repeat customers!
