The toppings have been delicious each time I’ve visited Mama Pizza – they always have fresh ingredients and they’re generous with them which means there’s plenty of flavorsome goodness in every bite.
The service here has also been great. The waitstaff is really friendly and attentive despite how busy the restaurant can get at peak times.
My only complaint about Mama Pizza is that there’s no delivery option; otherwise, it would be the perfect pizza joint!

My first impression was that Yaya’s Pizza is a winner. The atmosphere was inviting, with cozy booths and dimmed lighting. I was lucky enough to be transferred the menu early, so I could get an excellent overview of their offerings before my order.
Their pizzas are definitely worth writing home about. We ordered their signature pepperoni pie and it did not disappoint – the crust was cooked perfectly and the cheese melted in our mouths! The pepperoni had just the right amount of spice, making it one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!
The staff at Yaya’s Pizza were also a highlight of my experience. They were all very friendly and accommodating, which only added to my enjoyment.

I’m a big fan of thin crust pizza, and the pies I had at Pizza Perfect certainly did not disappoint. The crust was perfectly crisp, with a hint of chewiness that was just right. On top of that, their sauce had rich tomato flavor with the perfect amount of garlic and herbs. Overall, it was a perfectly balanced pizza pie!
The staff at Pizza Perfect were also great – they’ve got some truly passionate people working there. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, ready to answer any questions I may have had.
And the toppings? Delicious! From thick pepperoni slices to fresh mushrooms, everything added flavor and texture to the already delicious pizza base.
All in all, I consider Pizza Perfect to be one of the best pizzerias in Ypsilanti if not THE best! If you’re looking for an amazing Italian style pizza experience, this is definitely the place to go.

I have to admit, when I first arrived I wasn’t expecting too much – but the wonderful smell of freshly baked pizza immediately drew me in. The interior is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating and a warm atmosphere.
The menu is full of delicious pizzas: from traditional to gourmet – there really is something for everyone! Even better, all their pies are made using top-quality ingredients. The crust was crispy and cheesy, while the toppings were plentiful, flavorful and cooked just right.
In addition to their pizzas, they also offer other Italian dishes like pasta and calzones as well as salads for lighter fare. There is even dessert pizza for those with a sweet tooth!
The service was great – the staff were friendly, helpful and willing to answer any questions we had. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of food on offer.
All in all, Issa’s Pizza is the best pizza in Ypsilanti and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great slice of pie!

The sauce is well-balanced, with a sweet and tangy tomato base that isn’t too spicy but still packs some heat. The herbs add complexity and depth of flavor as well.

I then moved on to try out their specialty creations like the ‘Hawaiian Delight’ which had pineapple, ham and bacon for a delectable combination of sweet and savory flavors. It was delightful.
When it comes to pizza, Domino’s has you covered! They offer a wide range of toppings so you can create the perfect pie to your own tastes. Plus, they have some pretty awesome side dishes like cheesy breadsticks and garlic knots that are almost as good as their pizzas.
The service at Domino’s is top notch too; they were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. The prices are also quite reasonable making it a great spot if you’re looking for an affordable night out.

The place is overflowing with character, starting with the retro decor. The staff also added to that with their friendly, helpful attitudes.
Now onto the food: amazing! My absolute favorite is the classic Margherita pizza. The combination of fresh mozzarella and tomatoes was out of this world! I also had the Hawaiian Pizza and BBQ Chicken Pizza – both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor.

It was an incredible experience to eat at Jet’s Pizza. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff and my mouth started watering just from the smell of delicious pizzas cooking in the oven.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I could tell that customers were truly enjoying their meals, which made me even more excited to try what Jet’s Pizza had to offer.
For my meal, I ordered a large cheese pizza with pepperoni and sausage. It arrived quickly, and the presentation alone was amazing. The crust had that perfect balance between crunchy and chewy – a real testament to Jet’s skillful baking technique. The toppings were flavorful and spread evenly throughout the pizza, giving each bite that full flavor experience. Each bite was better than the last!

The pizza itself was impressive. The crust was perfectly cooked, with a fluffy texture, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. It really brought out the deliciousness of the toppings!
I also have to give them credit for their variety. They have so many different topping and crust combinations that it’s almost overwhelming. I caved in and got one of their specialty pizzas – The Onion and Pineapple (who would have thought) – and it did not disappoint!
Speaking of pineapple, they also take pride in their other offerings. From breadsticks to calzones to wings, there’s something for everyone at Hungry Howie’s Pizza. And let me tell you, their wings are truly the bomb! I’m usually not a fan of wings but theirs were so juicy and addicting that I couldn’t resist having more than one helping.
But what really stood out was the customer service. They went above and beyond to make sure my experience was top notch. My servers were friendly, attentive and truly knowledgeable about the menu selection which made it easier for me to make decisions on what to order.
