The first thing that caught my eye when I walked in was the charming, old-school ambiance. The pizza ovens had been there since the 1940s, and I could smell the delicious dough baking as soon as I entered.

The crust was light and flaky with just the right amount of crunch – definitely one of the best crusts I’ve ever had. The sauce was flavorful, not too heavy or overpowering, and paired perfectly with all of their fresh toppings!

Their cheese selection is top notch, and you can always get it freshly grated if you want an extra special touch. Plus, they have some really unique topping combinations that really take their pies to a whole new level of deliciousness.

I’m so glad to have discovered Verona Pizza II while in Hammond IN – it truly has some of the best pizza around!

The moment I arrived at the restaurant, I was already impressed. The ambiance was cozy yet modern, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

This pizza was loaded with layers of flavor—pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and olives on a delectable thin crust base. The ingredients were so fresh that you could taste their quality with every bite. And let me tell you, each bite was pure heaven!

I also had the chance to sample some of their other varieties. Their Veggie Lovers Pizza featured a yummy garlic-infused sauce layered with tomatoes, spinach, bell peppers and more. It may have been meat-free but it was still incredibly scrumptious!

And finally, my favorite pizza of them all: their BBQ Chicken. The sauce was tangy and sweet while the chicken pieces were flavorful and succulent—it truly hit all the right notes!

I had the pleasure of trying their Sausage Supreme pie, and it was absolutely delicious. The crust was cooked to perfection, with a buttery texture that melted in my mouth.
