I’m here to share my experience of tasting 12 different pizzas from some great spots in the area. This is one of my favorite topics so you can be sure I’ve done my due diligence.

I’m sure there are many opinions on what makes a pizza taste amazing, but for me, it’s all about perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio and just the right amount of crispiness. So come along with me on this culinary adventure as we discover the best pizza in Kaanapali!

#1 Sale Pepe

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was something special. The atmosphere was bustling and friendly, with pop music playing in the background and everyone talking about what kind of toppings they’d be having on their next pizza.

As for the food, my taste buds were in heaven! The crust was thin and perfectly crisp, while the toppings ranged from classic combinations like pepperoni to more adventurous options like prosciutto and arugula. Each pizza had a unique flavor profile that kept me coming back for more!

The service here is top-notch as well. Every time I visited, the staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to help me find the perfect pizza for my tastes. Even when it got busy during peak hours, I never felt like I had to wait long for my order or worry about it being forgotten about.

I highly recommend Sale Pepe if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Kaanapali. Whether you’re a fan of classic combos or something a bit more unique, you’ll definitely find something to please your palate!

#2 Lahaina Pizza Company

With fantastic ambiance, a beautiful location and atmosphere, top-notch ingredients, and a passion for pizza perfection, Lahaina Pizza Company is one of the gems of my culinary journey.

The staff was extremely attentive and friendly when I visited and the range of options on their menu had me drooling. Plus, they have something for everyone! Not only do they serve wine and hard liquor – which is perfect to pair with your meal – but they also offer a great kid’s menu which my little ones enjoyed. And if you’re like me and have an insatiable sweet tooth, they even offer delicious desserts to cap off the experience!

The only downside is that delivery isn’t available — however given the amazing setting, it’s worth visiting Lahaina Pizza Company in person!

#3 Giannotto’s Pizza

The food here is truly unique – their thin crust pizza with a combination of hearty toppings creates an explosion of flavors. I had the pleasure of trying one of their signature pies, which featured a medley of mushrooms, spinach and ricotta cheese. The flavors complemented each other perfectly, and the thin crust was so light that it melted in my mouth. It was truly a work of art!

I also had the pleasure of tasting some of their classic sauces and sides. The garlic butter sauce added just the right amount of zing to my meal, and the cheesy breadsticks were incredible.

When it comes to hospitality, Giannotto’s Pizza outdoes itself! Every member of their staff was warm and friendly, making me feel like I was part of their family for a day. They even passed out samples throughout the night – how could you not love them?

All in all, Giannotto’s Pizza is hands down one of the best places around if you’re looking for amazing pizza. Whether you’re after thin crust or deep dish, they have something to satisfy your craving. Trust me when I say that this is absolutely one pizza joint that you don’t want to miss!

#4 Prison Street Pizza

The first thing I noticed when I stepped foot in Prison Street Pizza was the variety. Not only did they have amazing specialty pies like the “Jailhouse Special” topped with pepperoni, sausage, and extra-hot jalapenos, they also had classic pizzas like the margherita with fresh mozzarella and basil.

As for taste, Prison Street Pizza definitely delivers. All of the ingredients were extremely fresh and of top quality – something you’d expect from a place that’s been around since the 1800s! Plus, their secret dough recipe gave the crust a special flavor that you can’t find anywhere else in town.

In terms of atmosphere, Prison Street Pizza has it all! The interior is designed to look like an old prison cell block circa 1880, complete with iron bars and stone walls. And I must say, it made for a unique dining experience every time!

To top it off, Prison Street Pizza offered excellent service and very friendly staff who always make sure your pizza arrives warm and fast.
Overall, if you’re looking for some delicious pizza in Kaanapali then look no further than Prison Street Pizza -it truly is one of the best in town!

#5 Round Table Pizza

The first thing I noticed about this establishment was the inviting atmosphere complete with a castle-like décor. The staff were friendly and helpful, which is always appreciated when it comes to ordering pizza.

From my experience, Round Table Pizza consistently delivers on its promise of delicious pizza. The toppings are generous and flavorful and the crust is crispy and light – perfect for those that appreciate thin crust pizza like myself. My personal favorite is the Roast Vegetable Specialty Pizza with tangy feta cheese, roasted red peppers, mushrooms, onions, olives…the list goes on!

When it comes to picking up your order or dining in, you’ll find that Round Table Pizza takes special care with its presentation. Every pizza is served hot and fresh upon request with sides such as garlic breadsticks for extra satisfaction!

Overall, I’d highly recommend checking out Round Table Pizza if you’re looking for great tasting pizza. In my opinion, they serve some of the best pizza in Kaanapali and make sure every customer leaves satisfied!

#6 Pizza Paradiso Mediterranean Grill

The staff was incredibly friendly, creating an enjoyable atmosphere for my visit. I started off with a sample of their bruschetta, and the garlic and basil infused flavor blew me away!

But the real highlight here is definitely the pizza. It’s cooked to perfection in their stone oven, resulting in a delicious crispy crust. Their selection of toppings also impressed me – from classic pepperoni to more exotic combinations like bacon & pineapple. I tried several varieties and, wow, they were all so flavorful and scrumptious!

My overall experience at Pizza Paradiso Mediterranean Grill was excellent. If you’re ever in Kaanapali looking for some of the best pizza around, this place is a must-try!

#7 Dollie’s Pub & Café

The dough is made fresh and baked to perfection in their wood-fired oven. I don’t know what kind of magic they do in the kitchen but it’s absolutely divine! The sauce has a perfect blend of spices that will tantalize your taste buds. To top it off, the cheese and toppings are always spot on.

From the outside, Dollie’s looks like an ordinary pub but once you step inside you will be greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, helpful and eager to make sure you have the best experience possible.

If you’re ever in Kaanapali looking for great pizza, then look no further than Dollie’s Pub & Café. I can guarantee you won’t regret it – they’ve got the best pizza in town!

#8 Nikki’s Pizza

I was initially a little hesitant about the place, being away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. But my expectations were exceeded when I stepped through the door. The restaurant has a great laid back atmosphere, with old-school rock playing in the background. I couldn’t help but smile!

The real highlight of this place is obviously the pizza. Whatever you do, don’t pass up on trying one! I ordered their classic Hawaiian combination – ham and pineapple – and it was honestly one of the best pies I’ve had in a while. The sauce was sweet and tangy, with just enough cheese to keep things balanced. Absolutely delicious!

One downside though, they don’t offer delivery yet so if you want to get your hands on that pizza goodness, you’ll have to do it in person. But given how great Nikki’s Pizza is, it’s definitely worth the effort! If you’re looking for some truly amazing pizza right here in Kaanapali, then Nikki’s Pizza is definitely for you!

#9 Beachwalk Market & Pantry

The atmosphere is great! Even though it may be a tourist destination, the restaurant has a nice quiet vibe that just makes you want to stay a few extra hours. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the kitchen never fails to wow me with their delicious pizzas.

Speaking of the pizzas, they are handmade from scratch each day from the freshest ingredients. Every pizza has its own unique flavors and textures that make it stand out from the rest. While I usually go for some of their classic recipes like pepperoni or mushroom, I’ve also tried out some of their more exotic options like bacon and jalapeno. Each one was amazing in its own way!

I’m also glad to say that Beachwalk Market & Pantry offers both a kid’s menu and dessert options which always make any meal more enjoyable. But if you don’t feel like dining in, unfortunately they don’t offer delivery which would have been nice option to have.

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Beachwalk Market & Pantry for anyone looking for the best pizza in Kaanapali!

#10 Brick oven Pizza

As soon as I entered the restaurant, I was immediately greeted with a warm atmosphere and fantastic smell coming from the kitchen. The decor was simple and rustic, giving it an old-world feel that really brought out the best of their pizza-making skills.

The service was friendly and helpful, but what really impressed me was their pizza! Their thin crust pizzas were cooked perfectly in their brick oven, making every bite full of delicious flavor. The toppings used on their pizzas were fresh and tasty. It was clear that Brick oven Pizza takes pride in the quality ingredients they use for their pies.

Overall, I would rate my experience at Brick oven Pizza as some of the best pizza I have ever had! If you’re looking for an authentic Italian experience with some of the best pizza in Kaanapali, then look no further than Brick oven Pizza.

#11 Penne Pasta Cafe

The pizzas they served up were simply delicious, with the perfect combination of flavors, ingredients, and texture. The crust was just right; not too thick and not too thin. The sauce was perfectly balanced between spicy and sweet. And the toppings…oh my! Every bite was heavenly.

And that’s saying something coming from a food critic who’s tasted pizza across the globe!

But the best part about Penne Pasta Cafe is that they also offer their own unique creations. My personal favorite is their Hawaiian pizza, which has pineapple, bacon, and jalapeños as toppings. It’s one of those specialty pies that you won’t find anywhere else!

To sum it all up: Penne Pasta Cafe has some of the best pizza in Kaanapali – hands down. I highly recommend giving it a try if you ever get the chance – you won’t be disappointed!

#12 Taverna Maui

The place itself has a great atmosphere—it’s definitely a tourist spot, but it’s also cozy enough to make you feel right at home. And there are some definite perks to eating here; not only do they serve alcohol (and hard liquor!), but there’s also a kid’s menu and vegetarian options for those wary of pepperoni. On top of that, the dessert is simply insane!

But the best part of this place is obviously the pizza. I’ve tried it all—Deep Dish, Thin Crust, Chicago Style—and I can honestly say that Taverna Maui makes some of the best pizza I’ve tried in Kaanapali. The flavors are bold and the crust is light and crunchy; every bite was like a flavor bomb going off in my mouth!

My one complaint about this place is that they don’t offer delivery. But when the pizza is this good, who needs delivery? Just hop in the car and get yourself over to Taverna Maui for some truly amazing pizza.

Best Thin Crust Pizza – Pizza Paradiso

Walking into this charming little restaurant, I was immediately hit with the aroma of freshly baked dough and melting cheese. The ambience was cozy and inviting, with a rustic decor that made me feel like I had stepped into an Italian grandmother’s kitchen.

Now, let’s talk about their pizza. Oh mama mia, it was a thing of beauty! The thin crust was perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of chewiness. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, and the cheese was gooey and heavenly. Every bite was a delight, and I found myself devouring slice after slice with reckless abandon.

But wait, there’s more! Pizza Paradiso also serves alcohol, and not just your run-of-the-mill beer and wine. They have a wide selection of hard liquor, which made this food critic very happy indeed. And for my vegetarian friends, fear not! They have some great meatless options that are just as delicious.

To top it all off, Pizza Paradiso offers a mouthwatering dessert menu. Their cannoli is to die for, and the tiramisu is simply divine. Trust me, you won’t want to skip dessert when you dine here.

Now, let’s address the downsides. Unfortunately, Pizza Paradiso does not offer delivery, which means you’ll have to pry yourself away from your cozy hotel room to go there. Additionally, they don’t accept reservations, so plan accordingly if you’re visiting during peak hours.

But hey, who needs delivery or reservations when you have the best thin crust pizza in maui waiting for you at Pizza Paradiso? Trust me, it’s worth every effort to experience this slice of pizza heaven.
