The first thing that strikes you when you walk in the door is the mouth-watering aroma of freshly baking dough and sauces. I was immediately captivated – and hungry! The menu offers both traditional Italian favorites as well as some inventive combinations. I opted for my standard favorite, a classic margherita pizza which did not disappoint.
The dough had just the right crunch on the outside, yet remained soft and chewy on the inside. Each slice was covered with a generous layer of melting mozzarella cheese topped with juicy plum tomatoes. The wonderful combination of flavors burst with every bite!
But Taste of Rome doesn’t stop at delicious pizzas; they also offer an assortment of unique antipasti (appetizer), salads and desserts. I sampled a few of their house-made salami and small bruschette. They were delicious! One word to best describe the food: Unforgettable!
