Coming off of my recent success rating pizzas all around the world, I decided to test the tastebuds of those living in Florida. To do this, I set out on an epic mission to find the best pizza in this area.

After extensive research and several pizzas later, I’ve narrowed it down to 12 finalists that have successfully passed my taste test. #1 Basilico’s Original Hand-Tossed Pizza

I entered the quaint little shop nestled away and was immediately embraced by the delicious smells of homemade pizza. I knew from the first sight that this place was serious about pizza. The owners must have training from Italy, because the pizzas were all so expertly crafted with the perfect crust and lots of fresh ingredients!

The pizza itself was incredible – the best I’ve had in a long time! The hand-tossed crust was crispy, yet fluffy – an amazing combination. The sauce had just enough sweetness without being too overpowering, while the cheese practically melted in my mouth. To top it off, they had all sorts of fresh toppings to choose from: pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions!

The customer service at Basilico’s Original Hand-Tossed Pizza was also top-notch. Everyone there was so friendly and welcoming that I felt like part of the family! The prices were reasonable as well, which is always a plus in my book.

#2 Sicilian Oven

The crust was perfectly crunchy and the cheese was melted to perfection. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and plentiful. I especially liked the spicy salami and distinctive anchovies!

The atmosphere of Sicilian Oven was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a casual meal with friends. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring our experience lived up to expectations.

But what really put Sicilian Oven over the top? Their amazing Sfincione pizza – layers of dough made with potato, onion, tomato sauce and crispy sardine fillets. It was truly an experience like no other!

All in all, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Wellington FL, you can’t go wrong with Sicilian Oven. One bite of their succulent pies and you’ll be hooked!

#3 Fired Up Pizza West

From the moment I stepped foot in Fired Up, I was impressed. The decor of the restaurant is modern and inviting, and the smell of freshly cooked pizza wafted through the air – delightful!

My server was courteous and took my order with a smile. When my pizza arrived, it was piping hot, with a golden-brown crust just begging to be devoured. Even though I’d been all over the world eating pizza, this was easily some of the best I’d tasted! It was loaded with toppings that had been cooked to perfection – not too greasy or soggy like some pizzas can be.

The highlight of my experience at Fired Up Pizza West had to be their signature Sicilian-style slice. It looks quite different from other pizza slices I’ve tried before; it has an extra thick, fluffy crust that’s baked until it’s golden-brown and crunchy on the outside. The flavors and textures blended perfectly together, making it hard for me to put down my fork!

All in all, this experience at Fired Up Pizza West was definitely one for the books. If you’re ever in Wellington FL looking for top-notch pizza then you should definitely pay them a visit – the best pizza around!

#4 The Original Mario the Baker

As a traveling food critic, the first thing I look for is atmosphere, and Mario definitely delivers. As soon as you walk in, you can smell the fresh-baked pizza and feel like you’re part of the family. Not only do they have a great selection of wine and beer, but they also offer a kid’s menu so everyone can join in on the fun. And if you’re looking for vegetarian options, there are some available too!

On top of that, The Original Mario the Baker offers dessert to finish off your meal – something that not all pizza places provide. It’s definitely a nice tourist spot to check out when visiting Wellington FL.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I could tell that Cucina Moderna had put its heart and soul into making a one-of-a-kind pizza experience. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff set the tone for what was an unforgettable dining experience.

As soon as my order was taken, I knew that Cucina Moderna had done something special with their pizzas. The simple yet distinctive ingredients of their classic margherita pizza exploded in my mouth with every bite. Even their specialty pizzas have something unique to offer — like their Smokey BBQ Chicken pizza, which brings together the perfect combination of smoky BBQ sauce, tender chicken and zesty vegetables.

Cucina Moderna is truly a hidden gem in Wellington! If you’re looking for some of the best pizza around, look no further — it doesn’t get any better than this!

#6 Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings

I’ve dined at Anthony’s many times, and the experience each time is consistently top notch. The fresh, imported coal-fired ovens used to make their pizzas have a unique flavor that really stands out. From the char-grilled crust to the perfectly balanced sauce and high quality ingredients, Anthony’s does not disappoint with their offerings!

The pizza selection is definitely worth trying; I especially enjoyed the classic Margherita Pizza and the gourmet Baked Ziti pizza. The wings were also a hit – extra crispy and hot, with just enough seasoning to get your mouth watering.

Service was professional yet friendly; it made me feel right at home. I could tell they take great pride in providing an enjoyable experience for all their guests.

My only complaint was that I wasn’t able to stay longer and enjoy more of Anthony’s delectable pizzas – alas, we had to move on! Overall, I would highly recommend Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza & Wings to anyone looking for some of the best pizza in Wellington FL!

#7 Bilotti’s Pizza Wellington

From the delicious, cheesy crust to the savory, flavorful sauce, Bilotti’s has really outdone itself with this pie. The toppings are always fresh and the whole package is just scrumptious.

But what really sets apart Bilotti’s Pizza Wellington is their attention to detail. Every time I eat there, I’m astounded by their care in crafting each pizza. No matter what toppings I order, my slice is cooked to perfection every single time!

And if you’re looking for something a bit more creative than your standard pepperoni and mushroom, they have some truly unique topping combinations you won’t find anywhere else. My personal favorite is their spinach and feta – it’s unbeatable!

The first thing that caught my eye about Blaze Pizza was their impressive pizza oven which sits prominently in the center of the restaurant, lightly smoking the delicious pizzas waiting to be enjoyed. Despite its size, Blaze Pizza has a cozy atmosphere with an eclectic decor and friendly staff who are more than happy to create what is sure to be an amazing pizza for you.

When it came time to order, I chose their signature “Blazin’ Meat” pizza which consisted of smoky pepperoni, spicy sausage, bacon, and cheese. As soon as it hit the table, I knew this was going to be something special. The crust was perfectly crispy and flavorful while the toppings were all cooked just right without being overly greasy. Combined together they created a unique flavor that made me savor every bite.

Though Blaze Pizza’s main focus is on providing delicious pizza, they also have other delicious options such as garlic knots and salads. But let’s face it: nothing can compare to the stunningly good pizza at Blaze Pizza! It truly lives up to its reputation as having some of the best pizza in Wellington FL. If you’re in town looking for an amazing slice of pie, make sure you check out this place – you won’t regret it!

#9 California Pizza Kitchen

I arrived at California Pizza Kitchen expecting just another pizza joint, but I was in for a pleasant surprise. I never expected to find such an elegant and inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

When it came time to order, I opted for their signature Italian sausage-stuffed crust pizza with roasted red peppers and alfredo sauce. One bite and I knew that this was going to be one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The Italian sausage was cooked to perfection and mixed so well with the flavorful alfredo sauce that you could really taste every ingredient separately. The roasted red peppers added just the right amount of sweetness to balance out all the savory flavors from the cheese and dough.

After finishing my first slice, I couldn’t resist having another! And then another! This was truly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, rivaling even some of the best pizzerias in Italy. With its unique blend of flavors, tantalizing aroma and delectable texture, California Pizza Kitchen reigns supreme as one of Wellington FL’s top pizza spots!

#10 Domino’s Pizza

The crust was the perfect combination of crisp and soft, with just the right amount of cheese, sauce and toppings. The flavors burst through in every bite! Plus, the service was fantastic.

I especially loved their “Chef’s Pick” pizza which had a variety of unique ingredients—everything from broccoli to Buffalo chicken! It was one of the most flavorful pizzas I’ve ever had.

I also had a chance to try their garlic parmesan wings and they were some of the best wings I’ve ever tasted. They were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with just a hint of garlic and parmesan flavor. Yum!

If you’re looking for great pizza without having to travel around the world, Domino’s Pizza is your spot in Wellington FL! Highly recommended!

#11 Grandma’s Brooklyn Pizza

I had the pleasure of tasting the classic pepperoni pizza, which was served up with a generous portion of thick, juicy slices. The pizza dough was cooked to perfection – golden brown and crispy on the outside, yet still soft and chewy in the middle. The tomato sauce also had just the right amount of sweetness and kick, while the cheese melted perfectly beneath a blanket of pepperoni slices.

The presentation was impressive as well – the pizza came out looking like a work of art, with a sprinkle of fresh herbs scattered across it. It almost made me wish I could frame it!

Of course, what makes Grandma’s Brooklyn Pizza stand out among other pizzerias is their unique selection of toppings: everything from bacon and pineapple to capers and anchovies can be added to these pies for an extra special treat! And let’s not forget about their famous garlic knots which are truly sublime – light and fluffy on the inside with just enough crunchy garlic butter coating on the outside.

#12 Jimmy Brooklyn’s Pizza Parlor

From the moment I walked in I was amazed at the atmosphere. The decor was old-fashioned, with brick walls and faded photographs of classic Italian scenes. The smell of freshly baked pizza was heavenly.

The service was also top-notch. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they made sure to explain each menu item in detail so that I could make an informed decision.

But the best part about Jimmy Brooklyn’s Pizza Parlor is definitely the pizza itself. The crust was perfectly baked, with just the right amount of crunch on the outside and a soft chewy texture inside. The sauce had a nice tomato flavor, and the toppings were fresh and plentiful. Not to mention all of their unusual topping choices (I went for pineapple – a personal favorite).
