I’m sure you’ve heard of all the ‘Big-Name’ pizza places out there, but I went in search of some local hidden gems. On my journey through Nj By County, I’ve been lucky enough to sample 12 different pizzas.

My mission was to find the best slice around, even if that meant eating more than my fair share of pepperoni pies! You know what they say – when in Nj By County, do like the locals do and eat as much pizza as possible!

So from Ferry Street in Newark to the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, join me on my tour of the best pizza joints in Nj By County.

#1 Holy Tomato

I was pleased to find that Holy Tomato had vegetarian options for those non-meat lovers. They also had insanely good dessert. I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a better slice of pizza than the one I got from Holy Tomato.

Unfortunately, there is no delivery from this spot so if you want their delicious slices of pizza perfection, you have to journey yourself over to them. While it may not be very convenient, it’s worth the trip if you’re in the mood for some amazing pizza.

In conclusion, I’d rate the Holy Tomato as one of the best pizza spots in Nj By County and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out or just some quality time with truly delicious pizza!

#2 Joe’s Pizza

As soon as I stepped into Joe’s Pizza, I could smell the tantalizing aroma of freshly-made pizza pies. The owners greeted me with a warm smile and were extremely welcoming.

The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, with a wide variety of seating options available. There was also plenty of space to make conversation while enjoying some of Joe’s famous pizza creations.

When it comes to the food, Joe’s Pizza does not disappoint. The crust was just right – thin but still able to hold all of its toppings without becoming soggy. The cheese was flavorful and melted perfectly, and there were plenty of delicious toppings to choose from. It was clear that only the freshest ingredients were used in their pizza pies!

I sampled a few slices from multiple pizzas, including one of their signature specials – the “Grande Pie”. It was topped with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers and olives – what a treat! All of them had just enough spice level for my liking and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients used on each slice.

Overall, having visited many pizza places around the world I can confidently say that Joe’s Pizza is worth checking out if you’re ever in Nj By County! With classic recipes and fresh ingredients they have crafted some truly delicious slices that are sure to leave you satisfied after your visit!

#3 John’s Boy Pizzeria

I arrived here with high expectations and was not disappointed. The staff greeted me warmly, and the decor was cozy and inviting.

The pizza itself was excellent-the thin crust had a perfect texture, and the sauce was full of flavor. The cheese melted in my mouth, almost as if it were made from pure love!

To top it off, all of the toppings I tried were incredibly fresh and flavorful. From pepperoni to sausage to mushrooms, all of them were top notch.

Overall, John’s Boy Pizzeria is a must-try if you’re ever in New Jersey. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the pizza is certainly some of the best I’ve ever had!

#4 Napoli Wood Fired Pizza & Bakery

I had the pleasure of stopping by this little pizza place and I have to say that I was amazed at their selection. From classic pizzas like Margherita and Pepperoni to an array of creative offerings such as the chicken pesto or prosciutto with arugula, Napoli has something for everyone (even the picky eaters!).

But what really made my visit so memorable was the wood-fired oven they use to cook their pizzas. The oven is kept at a constant temperature, ensuring that each pizza is cooked to perfection with a perfect golden crust and a hint of smokiness from the oven.

The staff here are friendly and helpful too, taking care of all your needs from seating to orders. They even offered me a complimentary drink while I waited for my order!

All in all, if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in NJ by County, then look no further than Napoli Wood Fired Pizza & Bakery – you won’t be disappointed!

#5 Tino’s Artisan Pizza Co.

I stopped by Tino’s when I first arrived in town and it quickly turned into one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the music playing is always a nice touch. Plus, their pizza is out of this world!

The crusts are thin and crunchy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. The sauce has a wonderful balance of sweetness and acidity that brings out the best in all their topping combinations. And there’s no shortage of topping choices. From classic favorites like pepperoni to more adventurous options like pineapple-ham-jalapenos, they’ve got something for everyone.

And let’s not forget about their salads! They’re also great! Fresh ingredients, zingy dressings, generous servings – you can’t go wrong!

All in all, Tino’s Artisan Pizza Co. has definitely earned its spot as one of the top pizzerias around here. If you’re ever in Nj By County be sure to stop by – it’ll definitely be worth your time!

#6 Arturo’s

The atmosphere here is great, it’s a nice tourist spot and I highly recommend it! The service is top notch too, the staff always have a friendly smile.

But let’s talk about the food – that’s what really matters, right? Arturo’s offers an extensive selection of pizzas, so you’re sure to find something to fit your tastes. On top of that, they also have some vegetarian options which makes this place even more attractive!

One thing for sure – each time I come here I’m never disappointed. They make all their dough from scratch and their ingredients are always fresh – you can taste the difference! And when you’re done stuffing yourself with delicious pizza, Arturo’s also has a great dessert menu so you can end your meal on a sweet note.

The only downside is that they don’t offer delivery; however, the quality of their pizza makes it worth coming in-store. All in all, I would highly recommend Arturo’s for anyone craving one of the best pizza in NJ by county!

#7 Kinchley’s Tavern

I was quite impressed with the wide range of menu items offered at Kinchley’s Tavern. Not only did they have an array of delicious pizza options, but they also had a kid’s menu and offered dessert as well. What I found most impressive, however, was their selection of beer and hard liquor that accompanied my meal!

The atmosphere was great too – Kinchley’s Tavern is located in a nice tourist spot and is a great place to watch sports. It’s definitely a fun spot to spend an afternoon or evening out with friends. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating.

Sadly, there is one downside – Kinchley’s Tavern does not offer delivery services. However, if you’re willing to take the time to go out for eats, then this place is definitely worth it!

All in all, I would highly recommend Kinchley’s Tavern for anyone seeking some of the best pizza in Nj By County – it’s absolutely worth the trip!

#8 Patsy’s Tavern & Restaurant

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great selection of both alcoholic drinks and hard liquor for those special evenings. Plus, if you’ve got kids in tow, there’s a special kid’s menu that’ll have them happily munching away in no time.

The pizza here is especially delicious. With its perfect blend of crunchy crust, fresh toppings and generous portions (no skimping on the goodness here!), it’s easy to see why Patsy’s has such a loyal following among pizza lovers. Plus, they offer dessert as well – what better way to end your meal?

Unfortunately, Patsy’s doesn’t offer delivery service – so if you want to get their pizza, you’ll have to stop by and pick it up yourself. Still, the deliciousness of the pizza more than makes up for this minor downside.

In summary: If you’re looking for some of the best pizza Nj By County has to offer, look no further than Patsy’s Tavern & Restaurant!

#9 Tacconelli’s Pizzeria

I was amazed at the variety of pies on the menu. From traditional, to fresh and inventive! Everything was top notch quality and I simply couldn’t get enough. The crusts were perfectly thin and crispy, while the toppings were savory and plentiful. Additionally, they offer a few different types of desserts- a lovely way to finish off the meal!

The atmosphere itself is great too; perfect for a family outing or group gathering. It’s also conveniently located in a tourist spot; you can eat here after going sightseeing or shopping!

Unfortunately, Tacconelli’s doesn’t offer delivery services which can be inconvenient for those who live far away. However, if you’re looking for the best pizza in NJ by county then Tacconelli’s is definitely worth the visit!

#10 Brooklyn Boys Pizza & Deli

I’ve been looking for the best pizza in Nj for over a year now, and let me tell you, Brooklyn Boys Pizza & Deli is definitely worth the trip. The atmosphere was welcoming and inviting from the moment I walked through the door.

The pizza was simply delicious. It has a perfect amount of cheesy goodness, with just enough spice to keep it interesting. Plus, they have plenty of options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. The crust was cooked just right and had a nice crunch to it that made every bite feel like a party!

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly too. They made sure I got my order exactly how I wanted it and were always willing to answer any questions I had about the menu or other dishes.

Overall, I would highly recommend Brooklyn Boys Pizza & Deli if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Nj By County!

#11 Federici’s Family Restaurant

The atmosphere was great. It had a nice touristy feel to it, so I felt right at home. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the place itself was nicely decorated.

On the food side, they serve up some seriously good pizza! I had their thin crust – perfectly cooked with just enough sauce and cheese – it was divine! Even better, they offer alcohol (even hard liquor!) which is great for those looking to enjoy a drink while they eat.

For those with kids or even veggie lovers, Federici’s Family Restaurant has you covered too. They have an extensive kid’s menu which makes it fun for the whole family and some seriously delicious vegetarian options as well.

The coup de grace? Their insanely good dessert selection. Honestly it felt like I died and went to heaven after trying all their unique pies!

While this spot doesn’t deliver, that fact doesn’t take away from its overall appeal. If you’re in Nj By County and want the best pizza around, head on over to Federici’s Family Restaurant for a truly delicious experience!

#12 Pete & Elda’s Bar / Carmen’s Pizzeria

I stumbled upon this little gem on my travels, and it quickly became one of my top picks when it comes to pizza. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, from the old-fashioned decor to the friendly staff.

The menu is full of classic Italian favorites like margherita, pepperoni, and white pizza. But the real star of the show here is their signature Pete & Elda’s Pie. It’s so good that I almost forgot about the other pizzas! It’s loaded with mozzarella cheese, spicy pepperoni, and fresh tomatoes over a thin crust.

The prices are reasonable too – you won’t break the bank for a night out at Pete & Elda’s Bar / Carmen’s Pizzeria. Plus they have a full bar for you to enjoy your favorite drinks or craft cocktails while you eat your food!

All in all, I couldn’t recommend Pete & Elda’s Bar / Carmen’s Pizzeria more highly – if you’re ever looking for some of the best pizza in NJ By County then look no further than this amazing eatery. Bon Appétit!
