I’ve had the good fortune to eat pizza all over the world, and I know the difference between a great slice and an average one. That’s why I’m excited to share my findings after sampling no less than 12 pizzerias throughout Decatur with you all today!

I’m here to tell you that out of all these choices, these are the absolute best pizzas in Decatur GA. With my trusty palate as your guide, I’m sure we can find something delicious to satisfy everyone’s craving for cheesy goodness. #1 Corner Slice

The interior of the restaurant almost makes you forget you’re in Decatur with its chic design and cozy atmosphere. And to top it off, the pizza tastes even better than it looks! The crust is always perfectly crisp and crunchy, while the toppings are always fresh and flavorful.

I’m especially a huge fan of their speciality pies—the Mediterranean-style pizza is particularly delicious—but I also recommend going for one of their classic cheese or pepperoni pizzas as well. You won’t be disappointed!

To top things off, Corner Slice has some great sides to accompany your pizza like wings, garlic knots, and macaroni & cheese bites. Even their salads are amazing!

Overall, I can confidently say that Corner Slice is one of the best places around for pizza in Decatur GA. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a slice (or two!) when you get the chance. You won’t regret it!

#2 Glide Pizza

Let me start by saying that the restaurant itself has a great atmosphere. It’s cozy and inviting, with upbeat music playing in the background. The staff is friendly and helpful too, always willing to answer any questions I have.

The best part of my visit was definitely the pizza! I tried one of their classic pies and it was delicious! The crust was perfectly thin yet crisp and chewy all at the same time, which is hard to do well. The sauce was flavorful without being overpowering – it just added to the overall flavor experience. The toppings were top notch as well – fresh vegetables, flavorful meats, and just-right amounts of cheese – everything you’d expect from an expertly crafted pizza.

I’m probably not alone when I say that Glide Pizza has some of the best pizza in Decatur GA! If you’re looking for a great place to get a tasty pizza pie or two, Glide Pizza should definitely be at the top of your list.

#3 Sapori di Napoli Pizzeria & Restaurant

I arrived at the restaurant feeling hungrier than ever. I was ready to try some of the best pizza this side of Naples. Well, let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint! The pizza was absolutely incredible. The crust had an amazing crunch and the toppings were perfectly cooked. The flavor was out of this world!

The atmosphere of the restaurant was equally impressive. The decor was a delightful combination of Italian-inspired rustic charm and modern sophistication. It truly captured the essence of Italy right in Decatur GA.

The service couldn’t have been better either. Our server was super friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu options and offering suggestions for what we should order. So helpful, in fact, that I’m certain our experience would not have been as enjoyable if it weren’t for her!

All in all, Sapori di Napoli Pizzeria & Restaurant is hands down one of the best pizza places in Decatur GA! From its delicious food to its cozy atmosphere and excellent service, I’ll definitely be back soon for more scrumptious pies!

It’s amazing how many different flavor combinations can be created with pizza crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings. Fellini’s allows you to customize your pizza to suit your taste, selecting from a wide variety of traditional and creative ingredients.

The first thing that struck me was the atmosphere of the restaurant. It has a classic Italian feel with checkered tablecloths, murals of Venice on the walls and the smells of fresh-baked dough wafting through the air. The service was also great – our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items.

But what really impressed me was the pizza itself! The crust had just the right amount of crunchiness, while still being light and fluffy in texture. The sauce was flavorful but not overpowering, and it wasn’t overly greasy like some pizzas can be. But best of all were the toppings – they were all so fresh and full of flavor!

If you’re looking for great pizza in Decatur GA, look no further than Fellini’s Pizza! I give it two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

This place has it all – a lively and fun atmosphere, a full bar serving alcohol, plenty of TVs so you can watch all the sports you want, and most importantly, delicious pizza!

The pizza at Avondale Pizza Cafe is nothing short of amazing. They hand-toss their dough to perfection and top it off with a variety of flavorful toppings that will satisfy your taste buds and leave you wanting more.

I also love that this restaurant is a great tourist spot too. Not only do they serve great food but they also have lots of historical artifacts around the cafe that make it an enjoyable experience.

The only downside I could find with Avondale Pizza Cafe is there’s no delivery option available, so if you want to enjoy their fantastic pizza you’ll need to come in to the restaurant. But really, that’s not too much of an issue because the food is worth making your way over there!

At the end of the day, Avondale Pizza Cafe easily takes the crown as having some of the best pizza in Decatur GA – or anywhere else for that matter!

#6 Athens Pizza

No matter what kind of pizza you like, Athens Pizza has something for everyone. They’ve got classic pies with tomato sauce and mozzarella, as well as other specialty pizzas like the “Athenian Delight” with feta cheese and olives. The crusts are always thin and crispy, with just the right amount of char from their brick ovens.

The toppings are fresh and flavorful, and the pizza is simply delicious! It’s no wonder why these pies have been a local favorite for years.

The atmosphere at Athens Pizza is also great. From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with a pleasant aroma that hints at what’s to come. The restaurant itself is quite comfortable and inviting, too, which really adds to the experience.

All things considered, I would highly recommend Athens Pizza if you’re looking for some of the best pizza in Decatur GA!

#7 Savage Pizza (Avondale Estates)

Sometimes it’s hard to find a pizza restaurant that meets all the criteria: delicious crust, flavorful sauce, and quality toppings. But Savage Pizza definitely checked all the boxes.

The atmosphere was great – a lively environment with friendly staff that make sure you have an enjoyable experience. And their pizzas are just as delightful as the atmosphere.

The toppings were fresh and creative. They offered classic flavors like pepperoni and cheese, but also had some more interesting options like artichoke hearts, prosciutto, and even kale! It was a great combination of flavors and textures. The crust was light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch, so every bite was perfect!

And for those looking for something on the healthier side – they also offer several vegan-friendly options.

Overall, I’d give Savage Pizza (Avondale Estates) two big thumbs up! If you’re in Decatur GA, this is definitely the place to go for some of the best pizza around.

The first thing I noticed after entering Savage Pizza was the amazing atmosphere. The walls are adorned with art from local artists, making for a unique, inspiring vibe. The staff is super friendly too—they seem to take great pride in their work, treating each customer like family.

Next came the pizza. Now THIS is why Savage Pizza stands out from the rest—because it’s simply delicious! My favorite slice so far was their signature “Savage Pie”, a supreme pie packed with meaty goodness (pepperoni, sausage, and bacon). But the real star of the show for me was the crust: it was soft but crunchy at the same time, with just the right amount of seasoning and char on top.

In addition to pizza, they also offer some wonderful sides like garlic knots and stuffed cheese bread sticks. And as if that wasn’t enough to make me full, they also have some delicious specialty drinks like “Jazzy Punch” and “Midtown Mule”.

All-in-all, Savage Pizza has become my go-to spot for pizza in Decatur GA! The food is amazing, the atmosphere fun and upbeat – what more could you want? If you’re ever in town looking for the best pizza around – this is definitely it!

From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I was instantly impressed with the atmosphere. It had a cozy, inviting feel to it that made me feel right at home. The smell of freshly cooked pizza was in the air and I could hardly wait to dig in.

The staff were all incredibly friendly, which is something you don’t often get at pizza places. They were happy to answer any questions I had and they made sure my experience was top-notch. The thing that really blew me away though was their pizza!

The pizza itself was just perfect. The crust was light yet crispy, the sauce and toppings were flavorful and generous, and best of all the cheese was melted perfectly so that it oozed even when cold! I have never tasted anything quite like it before.

I was most impressed by the wide variety of vegetarian options – you can even pick your own toppings! And as an added bonus, Fellini’s even serves up a variety of drinks.

The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Getting to know them made me feel like I was at home.

However, one downside is that they don’t offer delivery. But if you’re in Decatur GA and looking for a great place to grab some pizza, Fellini’s is definitely the place to go!

Overall, I’d highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a great pizza experience in Decatur GA – it just might be the best pizza I’ve ever had!

When I first walked in, I was immediately impressed by the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. The atmosphere was inviting and made me feel like I’d been welcomed into a new family.

The menu selection was unique, with multiple diverse topping options. They had ingredients that ranged from conventional items such as pepperoni, sausage, and cheese to exotic items such as kimchi or garlic cream sauce! The possibilities for pizza combinations were endless.

When my pizza arrived piping hot out of the oven, it smelled amazing and looked even better! Every bite was delicious and the crust had just the right amount of crunch. It was obvious that this pizza had been crafted with care by experienced chefs.

All in all, MOD Pizza is easily one of the best places to get pizza in Decatur GA. If you’re looking for an amazing slice of cheesy goodness, then look no further than MOD Pizza!

I stopped in for a bite with some friends and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the classic Margherita Pizza and it was delicious! The dough was crunchy on the outside and just melt-in-your-mouth soft on the inside, creating a perfect texture. To top it off, the tomato sauce was flavorful and not too sweet, while the cheese just melted away.

The service here is great too—the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Another bonus is that they serve alcohol so you can enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine while eating your pizza! For the kids, there’s also a kid’s menu with some fun options. And for vegetarian eaters, there are even some vegetarian options available.
