I’ve been all over the world and sampled countless slices, so I feel uniquely qualified to rate – and rank – the pizza places in this charming Maryland beach town. I visited 12 different restaurants and looked for qualities ranging from perfect dough texture to memorable toppings combinations. After a rigorous tasting session, I’m proud to present my list of the very best pizza spots in Ocmd!

#1 Trattoria Lombardi’s Restaurant

The first thing that jumped out at me was the fact that they serve both beer and hard liquor. I mean, what’s better than having an ice-cold beer with your pizza? That’s a combo I can get behind! I also appreciate their kid’s menu, which makes it easy for my family to enjoy a night out together. Plus, they even offer some decent vegetarian options so my non-meat-eating friends don’t have to miss out on the fun.

When it comes time to order dessert, Trattoria Lombardi’s has you covered – I highly recommend the tiramisu!

One downside is that there is no delivery option which can be a bummer if you’re too lazy (or busy) to make the trip yourself. But in my opinion, it’s worth it!

I’m not sure if it’s the brick oven or the secret family recipe that makes their pizza so delicious, but I can definitively state the crust is the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. Plus, the toppings are always fresh and savory.

On top of great pizza, Albertino’s offers hard liquor for those interested in getting a really good buzz going. They also have a kid’s menu for families with little ones, so everyone can enjoy their time there.

If you’re looking for something sweet to go along with your meal, this place also has one of the best desserts in town – something I never pass up while visiting. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable – a perfect spot to take out-of-towners on vacation!

The only downside is they don’t offer delivery – you’ll have to visit them in-person to enjoy all these wonderful benefits! All in all though, I highly recommend Albertino’s Brick Oven Eatery if you’re looking for some of the best pizza around Ocmd.

#3 Mione’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant

I was amazed by the sheer variety of pizzas they had – from thin crust to deep dish, traditional Italian style to experimental modern interpretations. The chefs at Mione’s must be true pizza experts because each slice was cooked to perfection!

The toppings were incredibly fresh and flavorful, leaving me wanting more after every bite. I’d definitely recommend getting the ‘Build Your Own’ option since it allows you to customize your pizza with amazing flavors like chili peppers and sausage. And the garlic knots are a must-have, they’re like mini garlic bread pizzas – delicious!

Overall, I give Mione’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant two thumbs up for providing some of the best pizza in Ocmd. Not only is their food tasty and innovative, but their friendly staff make it a pleasant experience all around. So if you’re ever in the area and looking for an authentic Italian pizza restaurant, head on over to Mione’s – you won’t regret it!

#4 Ponzetti’s Pizza

I must admit, I had my doubts about this small town restaurant since it doesn’t offer delivery, but after visiting I quickly realized that Ponzetti’s goes above and beyond.

As soon as I stepped in the door, I was met with a cozy atmosphere. There were TVs playing sports games on all sides of me, making it a great place to watch the game or catch up with friends. It wasn’t so overwhelming that you couldn’t have a nice dinner conversation either—it struck the perfect balance between a sports bar and family-friendly restaurant.

The menu had something for everyone too! The kid’s menu gave me lots of options for my picky eaters, while adults got to choose from a tasty selection of alcohol (including hard liquor!) to go along with their meal. And if that wasn’t enough, they also offer dessert—talk about an irresistible deal!

But of course, the most important part of any pizza experience is the pizza itself. Ponzetti’s does not disappoint when it comes to taste. They have classic flavors like pepperoni and cheese, as well as unique creations like their Mediterranean speciality with feta cheese and olives! It was definitely some of the best pizza I’ve ever tried.

Overall, if you’re looking for a great spot to enjoy pizza in Ocmd then Ponzetti’s Pizza should be at the top of your list!

#5 Squarz Pizza & Restaurant

The atmosphere of the restaurant was buzzing with energy and excitement. Upon walking in, I felt like I had been transported to Italy! The tables were decorated with fresh flowers, the decor was an Italian-inspired blue and white theme, and the service staff was friendly and helpful.

The pizza itself was divine – from the freshly made dough to the delicious ingredients that topped it off. I opted for classic Margherita pizza, but even their more creative toppings looked amazing! My mouth watered when I saw some of the unique combinations like goat cheese, eggplant, and roasted peppers.

But what really sets Squarz Pizza & Restaurant apart is the quality of their ingredients. Their sauces were rich and flavorful, their cheeses were creamy and melted in your mouth, and I swear that they must use some special spices to bring out all of these flavors. And as if this weren’t enough, they also make their own artisanal pizzas in a brick oven – something you wouldn’t find at many other pizza places.

After all that I’ve seen, tasted, and experienced during my travels all over the world, it’s safe to say that Squarz Pizza & Restaurant has some of the best pizza in Ocmd. Its casual atmosphere makes it a great spot for family gatherings or a romantic dinner date – no matter who you’re with or why you’re there, you won’t be disappointed by the flavors of Squarz Pizza & Restaurant!

#6 Piezano’s Pizza

The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce has just the right amount of zest and the toppings are always fresh and generous. They offer several different pizza options to choose from, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free pizzas. Plus, they have a great selection of specialty pizzas that you won’t find anywhere else.

Service at Piezano’s Pizza is also top notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring every order is made to perfection. You can also customize your pizza with whatever toppings you want. And if meat isn’t for you, there are plenty of veggie friendly choices too.

#7 Grotto Pizza

The atmosphere was perfect – it had a cozy and inviting vibe that instantly made me feel at home. I love how the walls are decorated with pictures of old-fashioned pizzerias and their iconic red, white and green striped tablecloths.

When it came time to order, I went for the classic Grotto Special (a combination of pepperoni, sausage, fresh mushrooms, onion, bell peppers and extra cheese). As soon as the pizza arrived I could tell that it was going to be good. The ingredients were top-notch quality and they had been cooked to perfection! There was just enough cheese on the pie so that every bite was oozing with flavor.

I must say, Grotto Pizza really did live up to its reputation as one of the best pizza places in Ocmd! The atmosphere is great, the ingredients are always fresh and flavorful and they definitely serve some of the best pizza around. So if you want to experience some truly authentic Italian style pizza then make sure to head over to Grotto Pizza!

#8 Ocean Bites

From the moment you walk through the doors, the smells of freshly made dough and cheese will have your mouth watering – trust me, this place does not disappoint!

The atmosphere is cozy yet inviting. The staff were friendly and attentive, always happy to answer any questions I had about the menu.

As for the pizza itself, it was simply divine. The dough was soft and chewy with a wonderfully crispy crust. The toppings were generous and flavorful – just what you’d expect from an authentic Italian restaurant.

I’m so glad I chose to try Ocean Bites while visiting Ocmd! It’s definitely become my go-to spot for the best pizza in town.

#9 Four Seasons Pizza OC

My first impressions of the restaurant were good. The decor was really nice and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Plus, they had a great selection of craft beers on tap!

When it came to the pizza, I was certainly impressed. The dough was light, fluffy and perfectly cooked with a slightly charred taste on the edge – mmmm! Toppings were fresh and generous too – my favorite being the spicy pepperoni which had just the right kick of heat.

But what truly sets Four Seasons Pizza OC apart from other restaurants is their service. They take great care to serve up each slice piping hot so that it arrives at your table full of flavour and melted cheesey goodness.

To summarize: Four Seasons Pizza OC is well worth your time if you’re looking for the best pizza in Ocmd! Highly recommended!

#10 Ledo Pizza

On my most recent visit to Ledo Pizza, I was pleasantly surprised. Their menu has something for everyone – including a full kid’s menu, several vegetarian options, and even dessert! It’s become quite the tourist spot because of that.

The pizza itself is really what stole the show on this trip. The crust is perfection every time and the toppings were all fresh. A great spot for any pizza connoisseur!

There is one downside – there isn’t any delivery service available. But if you’re in the Ocmd area, I highly recommend visiting Ledo Pizza to get your hands on some of the best pizza around!

#11 Captain’s Pizza & Subs

The pizza is cooked to perfection with a golden, crispy crust and gooey cheese. Every bite of their signature pies is full of flavor, texture, and freshness. The toppings are always varied and generous; I usually get the same order every time: pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms.

The garlic knots are also delicious! They’re pillowy on the inside with a nice outside crunch that’s just begging for some of their famous marinara sauce.

On top of all that deliciousness, the staff at Captain’s Pizza & Subs is friendly and attentive. We always feel right at home whenever we visit because they make us feel like family. It’s no wonder why they’ve been around so long in the same location!

Bottom line: If you’re looking for the best pizza in Ocmd you can’t go wrong with Captain’s Pizza & Subs!

#12 Sinbad Restaurant

The creamy cheese and flavorful sauce on their pizzas make it impossible to resist. Plus, the crust is always baked to perfection – never too hard or too soft. The toppings are fresh and plentiful, which adds to the enjoyable experience.

On my last visit I also tried their meatball platter which was a pleasant surprise. The homemade meatballs were juicy and flavorful; it was like eating at an Italian grandma’s house.

The staff in this family-run restaurant is super friendly and helpful, making the atmosphere welcoming, homey, and relaxed. There’s nothing better than getting good food with great service!

Unfortunately there’s no delivery option available here but since it tastes so good you won’t mind having to drive for pick up!

In conclusion, Sinbad Restaurant has some of the best pizza in Ocmd—the combination of delicious ingredients combined with the warm hospitality is enough to make me come back time and time again.
