I’m not easily impressed, having sampled some of the tastiest slices from Rome to Tokyo. But when I heard about the best pizza in Oxford, I was determined to see if it could live up to its reputation.

So this past week I set out on a mission to find Oxford MS’s top pies. After tasting twelve different pizzas and a few too many garlicky breaths, I believe I have found the cream of the crop.

#1 Fergndans Wood Fired Pizza Cafe

The atmosphere at Fergndans is always warm and inviting, making you feel like part of the family. The pizza makers are skilled artisans — their pies have just the right amount of crunch on the bottom, with a chewy crust along the edges. There’s no shortage of delicious toppings here, either: I tried pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage, and onion. Every single one was to die for!

The service here is top-notch as well — from the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff is friendly and helpful in guiding me through the menu. And let me tell you about those prices… They are definitely budget friendly for any college student or person looking for a great deal on dinner!

After all my travels around the world sampling pizza, I can honestly say that Fergndans Wood Fired Pizza Cafe has some of the best pizza in Oxford MS! If you find yourself craving pizza, this is definitely your spot!

#2 Lost Pizza Co. Oxford

First of all, the atmosphere is top notch. Their vintage-style decor and service make it feel like a place that has been around for ages and really adds to the overall experience.

Second, their pizza is outstanding! The crust is perfectly thin and chewy and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. Plus, they have some unique combinations that you don’t find everywhere, like their Mediterranean-style pies with feta cheese and kalamata olives. Yum!

Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful, ready to answer any questions or offer suggestions (which I appreciate!).

Overall, I would definitely recommend Lost Pizza Co. Oxford as one of the best places in Oxford MS to find delicious pizza!

#3 Pizza Den

The crust was just the right amount of crispiness, and the cheese was perfectly melted. The pizzaiolo clearly knows his stuff!

The toppings were plentiful and fresh, adding a great flavor to the pizza. Honestly, it reminded me of the best pizzas I’ve had in Italy.

But what really set Pizza Den apart from anywhere else is their unique combinations. The BBQ Chicken pizza with its bacon and ranch sauce was definitely something I haven’t seen anywhere else. To top it off, they even had a dessert pizza that was surprisingly delicious!

I don’t think I can say enough good things about this place – if you’re ever in Oxford MS make sure to check out Pizza Den – you won’t regret it! It’s easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten!

#4 Pizzashop

From the moment I stepped in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, with the perfect balance of traditional Italian vibe and modern pizzeria flair. The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed.

But what really put Pizzashop over the top was their toppings. You can get your slices topped with anything from classic pepperoni and sausage to exotic fusion combos like pesto shrimp and feta crumbles. They even have vegan options!

The crusts are also top notch – never too thick or too thin – cooked to perfection every time. And no matter how much you pile on the toppings, it still always comes out wonderfully crispy without any hint of grease.

I haven’t tried every pizza joint in Oxford MS, but based on my experience at Pizzashop, I think it’s safe to say they make some of the best pizza around. If you’re looking for an excellent pizza experience, look no further!

#5 Funkys Pizza & Daiquiri Bar

The atmosphere was cozy and the wait staff were friendly. They were excited to introduce me to all of their specialty pizzas, from the classic New York style to the unique BBQ chicken pizza. I decided to go with their “Funkys Freakout” pizza – a delicious combination of prosciutto, pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeno that left me satisfied.

The crust was thin but still had a great crunch when you bit into it, which contrasted wonderfully with the soft and stretchy cheese they used. The toppings had an amazing flavor profile that was complemented by the homemade sauces they used in each bite.

In short, if you’re looking for some truly excellent pizza in Oxford MS (or anywhere else!), you must try Funkys Pizza & Daiquiri Bar!

From the moment I stepped into Fox’s, I was wowed by the ambiance and atmosphere. The old-school Italian decor really set the scene for a classic pizza-eating experience.

My first impression became even better when I tasted the Pizza Margherita. It had the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and savory that made it unforgettable. The thin crust gave way to a soft center that was incredibly light yet full of flavor from the mozzarella cheese and perfectly seasoned tomato sauce.

Fox’s also offered up some delicious toppings for those who prefer something more than just a traditional cheese or pepperoni slice. They have an extensive selection that range from traditional options like sausage and mushrooms to more unique choices such as spinach and artichoke hearts. Every single topping tasted fresh and flavorful!

Aside from their amazing pizzas, Fox’s has many other menu options that are sure to please any palate. From appetizers like garlic knots to desserts like their New York-style cheesecake, they offer something for everyone!

The owner, Marco, is a friendly guy who’s been serving up delicious pies for years. I’ve heard so much about the legendary pies at this joint, and let me tell you – it lives up to the hype!

Their pizza crust is thin but chewy, with just enough crispness. The sauce is perfectly tart and flavorful, and the toppings are fresh and generous. They also have some great specialty pizzas like their famous Supreme or their popular BBQ Chicken.

But what really sealed the deal for me was when Marco pulled out his secret ingredient: a garlic-infused olive oil that he swirls around the edge of each pizza before baking it in the oven. The garlicky flavor adds an amazing depth to every bite.

Overall, I highly recommend a trip to Marco’s Pizza if you’re ever in town. You won’t be disappointed!

The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and I was welcomed with a smile by their friendly staff. The selection of pizzas on the menu is impressive, from the classic favorites to more unique options like macaroni & cheese pizza. After looking over the menu, I opted for the classic pepperoni pizza – it was delicious! The crust was thin and crispy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful.

I also tried their garlic breadsticks with mozzarella cheese – they were fantastic! The garlicky flavor was just right and the mozzarella cheese melted in my mouth.

Overall, Domino’s Pizza is definitely one of my favorite places to get pizza when in Oxford MS. They offer great quality pizza at an affordable price, plus their service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re ever in town!

I must say, the service I received at Little Caesars Pizza was top-notch. From the moment I stepped in the door, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was clear from their attitude that they truly cared about their customers – a rarity these days!

The pizza itself was fantastic! The crust had just the right amount of crunch and flavor, with an amazing herby, cheese flavor that made it really stand out. I also sampled some of their other food offerings as well. The antipasto plate with its onions, peppers and olives complimented the pizza perfectly! The salads weren’t bad either; they were light yet flavorful and satisfying.

The moment I walked in the door, the sweet smell of pizza filled my nostrils and I knew I was in for something special. The friendly staff were very helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed to enjoy my experience.

I started out with a classic pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! The crust was thin, yet doughy and the cheesy topping melted in my mouth. The pepperoni was crispy and flavorful, adding an extra layer of deliciousness. But what really made this pizza so good was the sauce – it had a great balance of sweetness and acidity that elevated the entire pizza to a new level.
