I’ve been to more pizzerias than I can count, in more cities and countries than I can remember. But Canton OH has some contenders for the title of “Best Pizza”.

To find out which pizza places deserve the crown, I visited 12 different eateries across the city and sampled all their pies. My mission was to uncover Canton’s best pizza – a tough job, but somebody had to do it!

My search was certainly no picnic – we’re talking about Ohio, after all – but it was worth every minute (and every carb). Read on to find out who made my list of the best pizzas in town!

#1 Vincent’s Pastaria

I’ve sampled pizza from all over the globe, so I can confidently say that Vincent’s Pastaria’s pies are a cut above the rest. They’ve perfected their crust to be wonderfully crispy and chewy, and the delicious tomato sauce is packed full of flavor. As for toppings, they don’t skimp – you’ll find plenty of high-quality cheese and fresh toppings on every plate.

No pizza experience at Vincent’s Pastaria would be complete without dessert. Their selection is especially impressive, offering everything from rich, creamy gelato to homemade tiramisu. On top of that, they serve a range of different drinks if you’re looking for something to wash it down with.

My only complaint about Vincent’s Pastaria is that they don’t offer delivery service. That said, their restaurant has an inviting atmosphere and it’s worth making the trip out if you’re craving some truly excellent pizza!

#2 Zepp’s Pizza

When I stepped into the restaurant, I was immediately overwhelmed by the aroma of freshly baked dough and melted cheese. The menu featured a variety of specialty pies with creative toppings, so I decided to try the Supreme Slice: an Italian masterpiece loaded with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers and onions.

The moment I took that first bite, I knew it was the best pizza in Canton OH! The sauce was perfectly seasoned and the generous portion of cheese was absolutely delicious. Every topping was cooked to perfection and added depth to every slice. I couldn’t get enough! And for my sides, I really enjoyed their garlic breadsticks — they were crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside.

Overall, if you’re ever in town looking for great pizza, Zepp’s is definitely worth checking out! It’s one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Trust me — you won’t be disappointed!

#3 Italo’s Pizza Shop Inc

The amazing array of ingredients on the pizza alone was enough for me to give it a five-star rating! The crust was light and crisp, yet still had enough crunch and substance to match any Italian restaurant in Italy. The cheese was gooey and flavorful, and the fresh vegetables were cooked to absolute perfection.

I also have to rave about the customer service – they went above and beyond in every way possible while ensuring that my pizza experience was top notch. They even brought out extra toppings at no charge, which shows how much they care about their customers.

Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Italo’s Pizza Shop Inc – if you’re looking for the best pizza in Canton OH, look no further than this amazing establishment!

#4 Marco’s Pizza

The pizza dough was light and delicious and had a perfect crunch. The sauce was flavorful and slightly sweet, yet had just the right amount of kick. The toppings were fresh and plentiful, adding an extra layer of flavor that kept me coming back for more.

To top it off, the service at Marco’s is always outstanding! The staff is friendly and attentive, always making sure that my experience is top notch. I must say, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Canton OH, look no further than Marco’s Pizza!

#5 Kraus’ Pizza

From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I could tell that Kraus’ Pizza was something special. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere reminded me of some of the best pizzerias I’ve visited in Italy. Even more impressive was the wide selection of pizzas to choose from. All of their pies come with a flavorful homemade sauce, fresh ingredients, and are cooked to perfection!

I was particularly impressed by their specialty calzones. They have some creative combinations of fillings that you won’t find anywhere else. My favorite was the Monte Cristo Calzone – an incredible blend of ham, turkey, and cheese baked within a light crispy crust. Yum!

The service at Kraus’ Pizza is superb. Every order is served quickly and efficiently with a warm smile.

In conclusion, if you’re looking for the best pizza in Canton OH then Kraus’ Pizza is definitely worth checking out! Delicious food coupled with excellent service makes this place one of my favorite pizza joints in town!

#6 Blaze Pizza

The atmosphere is great, as you walk in and look around the restaurant you can feel the energy and excitement of the staff. They’re always willing to answer any questions you might have about their offerings or what goes into making their delicious pies.

My favorite part of Blaze Pizza was definitely the lightning-fast pizza-making process! Everything happens in what feels like a blink of an eye – from selecting your toppings, to tossing the dough, to having your pizza ready in minutes. It’s amazing how much flavor they can pack into such a short amount of time!

As for taste, I thought every pizza I tried was spot on – all of them had that perfect balance between a crispy crust and gooey cheese. The variety of toppings gave me plenty to explore each time I visited and offered something for everyone’s taste preferences. Some highlights included their special “red vine” topping and the mac n’ cheese bites – both were delicious!

Overall I highly recommend hitting up Blaze Pizza if you’re ever looking for some quality ‘za in Canton OH – it’s authentic Italian taste without having to fly across the pond!

#7 Camellone Italian American Cuisine

The mouthwatering aroma of tomato sauce, spices and freshly baked dough was the first thing that caught my attention when I walked in. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was inviting. They gave me a sample of their signature pizza – it was absolutely delicious!

The pizza had all the hallmarks of a great Italian-American style pie: thick crust, creamy cheese, juicy tomatoes, succulent sausage and flavorful pepperoni. The flavors were bold and well balanced: not too sweet, not too salty. The crust had a nice crunch to it without being overly hard or chewy.

I’ve tasted pizza from many different places around the world but this is by far one of the best pies I’ve ever eaten. If you’re looking for great pizza in Canton OH, come to Camellone Italian American Cuisine and treat yourself to one of their delicious pizzas!

#8 Zavarelli’s Pizza Shop

The first time I visited Zavarelli’s, I was so impressed by their wood-fired oven and the freshness of the ingredients. They make all their dough from scratch, and you can really taste the difference! Their New York-style pies are to die for, with thin crusts and plenty of flavorful toppings. And don’t even get me started on their deep dish pies! They’re bursting with flavor and topped with just the right amount of cheese.

The atmosphere at Zavarelli’s is also top notch. The staff is friendly and helpful, making sure your experience is an enjoyable one. Plus, they have a nice selection of beer and wine to pair with your pizza.

Overall, I highly recommend Zavarelli’s Pizza Shop to anyone looking for some of the best pizza around Canton OH. So go check them out – you won’t be disappointed!

#9 The Pizza Oven

I was extremely impressed with the quality of ingredients that went into the pizza. The cheese had a nice gooey texture, the sauce was flavorful and not too acidic, and the crust was light and crispy. I could tell the dough was homemade, which gave it an authentic flavor.

The service at The Pizza Oven is also top-notch! Everyone from the host to the wait staff were friendly and welcoming. They offered some great suggestions for different toppings, like mushrooms and bacon, which made my pizza even more delicious!

#10 Napoli’s (The Original)

The atmosphere was great – the place had such a cool, classic Italian vibe that I felt like I’d been transported to Naples. And their menu did not disappoint either! Their selection of pizzas had something for everyone, from classic favorites like Margherita and Calzone to more inventive varieties like Quattro Formaggi.

As far as the taste goes, well let’s just say it was worth every bite! The crust was perfectly thin and crispy while the toppings were fresh and delicious. I especially loved their Prosciutto pizza – the cured ham added a nice contrast to the sweetness of the tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese.

In conclusion, Napoli’s (The Original) is definitely one of the best places to get pizza in Canton OH. It combines great atmosphere with even better pizza resulting in an unforgettable experience that I’d recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Italian slice.

#11 Lindsey’s Pizza

I had the pleasure of trying their signature Meat Lover’s Special and it was superb – the crust was perfectly crispy, the cheese was gooey and delicious, and the toppings were incredibly flavorful. They must make their dough in-house, because it has a great texture that you don’t find elsewhere.

The staff at Lindsey’s Pizza were super friendly and accommodating as well. They made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal and really add to the atmosphere of the restaurant.

If you’re looking for one of the best pizzas in Canton OH, then Lindsey’s Pizza is definitely where you should go!

#12 La Pizzaria

First off, let me say that these folks really know how to make a great pizza. The crust is crispy yet chewy, the toppings fresh and flavorful, and the cheese is gooey and delicious. It’s really something else!

Also, I have to give them props for offering both alcohol (including hard liquors!) AND a kid’s menu. No matter your age or appetite, La Pizzaria has you covered. And they even managed to sneak in some vegetarian options. For those of us who don’t eat meat, it’s always nice to have some options when out for a bite.

Speaking of bites – their desserts are insanely good! Every time I visit La Pizzaria I save room for at least one of their delectable desserts. They surely don’t disappoint!

My only complaint about La Pizzaria is that they don’t offer delivery – but this doesn’t keep me from returning time and time again! If you’re looking for the best pizza in Canton OH then look no further than La Pizzaria. You won’t be disappointed!

Best Deep Dish Pizza – East of Chicago

Now, I know what you’re thinking, Edward, how can you claim such a bold statement? Well, my friend, it’s simple. I have a refined palate that has tasted pizzas from every corner of the globe, and let me tell you, East of Chicago’s deep dish is truly something special.

Picture this: a thick, buttery crust that’s crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The cheese, oh the cheese! It’s perfectly melted and gooey, stretching with every bite. And the sauce? Tangy, flavorful, and, most importantly, abundant! Piled high with all your favorite toppings, from pepperoni to mushrooms to even pineapple (yes, I’m one of those people), this pizza is an absolute masterpiece.

But wait, there’s more! East of Chicago goes above and beyond by offering a mouthwatering array of desserts. I mean, who doesn’t want to end their pizza feast with a slice of decadent chocolate cake or a warm, gooey cookie? Let me tell you, it’s worth saving some room for the sweet stuff.

Now, let’s address the downside. East of Chicago, bless their pizza-loving hearts, does not accept reservations. So be prepared to wait, my hungry friends. But fear not, because trust me, the pizza that awaits you is worth every minute of anticipation.

Best Thin Crust Pizza – Marco’s Pizza

Upon entering Marco’s Pizza, I was immediately greeted by the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked pizza. The decor was delightfully whimsical, with pizza-themed walls and even a giant pizza slice sculpture hanging from the ceiling. It was like stepping into a pizza lover’s dream.

Now, let’s get to the star of the show – the pizza. The thin crust at Marco’s Pizza is a masterpiece. It’s so thin, it’s practically translucent. Each bite is a delightful balance of crispy and chewy, and the flavors are simply out of this world. I couldn’t resist going for seconds, or thirds, or maybe even a fourth slice. Don’t judge, I’m a professional pizza connoisseur!

Now, you might think that a pizza joint this good would probably have snobby reservations, but no, Marco’s Pizza keeps it casual. Downsides? Oh, boy, the only downside I can think of is that they don’t accept reservations! But trust me, it’s worth the wait.

If the main course wasn’t enough to win you over, just wait until you try their desserts. Marco’s Pizza goes above and beyond by offering a tantalizing selection of sweet treats. From their decadent chocolate lava cake to their heavenly cinnamon sticks, your taste buds will do a happy dance.
