After traveling all over the world in search of the best pizza, I’ve been excited to finally get to Charleston WV and try out all their offerings. Over the past few weeks, I’ve visited twelve different places and tasted their signature pies. #1 Southridge Golf Range and Larobi’s Pizza

I stepped into this cozy establishment and was immediately welcomed by the warm and friendly staff. As I gazed around the room, my eyes were drawn to the large brick oven that dominates one corner of the dining area. After taking a seat, I already knew I was in for something special!

The menu choices were delightful, but I settled on the “Larobi’s Special,” which consisted of generous amounts of cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, and black olives. Once it arrived at my table, I sank my teeth into it and have to say that it was by far some of tastiest pizza I’d ever had. The crust was perfectly golden brown and nicely chewy with a slightly crispy edge, and the toppings subtly flavored every bite.

All in all, Southridge Golf Range and Larobi’s Pizza is simply amazing. If you’re ever looking for some seriously delicious pizza in Charleston WV, then look no further than this wonderful establishment!

The interior of the restaurant has a classic pizzeria vibe with plenty of seating and a few arcade games. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for family dinner or a night out with friends.

I had the chance to try one of their signature pies – the Hawaiian Special – and it was truly delightful! Not too sweet and not too heavy, it was a perfect combination of flavors that left me wanting more. The crust was just right – not too thin or thick – with a hint of crunchiness that every good pizza should have. Plus they also have some great vegetarian options which is always a plus!

The atmosphere at Vinny’s was quite cozy as well. I felt like I’d stepped back in time to an old-fashioned pizzeria with its cozy red booths, classic Italian music playing in the background and lots of smiling faces around me.

I had the opportunity to try one of their specialty pizzas which was packed with flavor. I especially liked how they managed to combine a variety of ingredients without making the pizza too overwhelming. It was simply delicious!

The atmosphere is great too. The staff is friendly and helpful, always happy to chat about their creations and make recommendations if you’re not sure what to order. I found it really easy to relax in this inviting atmosphere while enjoying my meal.

#7 Husson’s Pizza – South Charleston

The minute I walked into the restaurant, I was hit with a barrage of wonderful smells and aromas coming from the kitchen. It didn’t take me long to get settled in and order my first slice. I opted for the pepperoni and sausage pizza – it was so good! The crust was perfectly cooked, the cheese melted just right and the topping were generously sprinkled on top.

The staff at Husson’s Pizza is also very friendly – all of them greeted me with big smiles, which made me feel right at home. My server was particularly helpful in suggesting some classic recipes that I could be sure to enjoy, along with a few unique twists on traditional pizzas.

The atmosphere was cozy, with the brick walls and paintings of Italy adding a nice touch. The staff were friendly, and they clearly enjoyed talking about the restaurant’s long history as we waited for our pizza.

When it came to the food itself, Graziano’s did not disappoint. We got one of their signature pizzas – the Margherita – and what a delight it was! Every bite was full of fresh, flavorful ingredients that melted in my mouth. It was by far one of the best pizzas I’ve had in my travels!

I highly recommend trying Graziano’s Pizza if you’re ever craving some great pizza in Charleston WV. You won’t be disappointed!

The atmosphere is always welcoming and the staff is friendly. The pizza itself was to die for! Perfectly thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of chewiness. Topped with fresh vegetables and generous helpings of delicious cheese – it was absolutely delicious!

I also tried their specialty pizzas, each one better than the last. My favorite was the white pizza: olive oil, garlic, mozzarella & spinach – it was mouthwatering! And not to be outdone by their pizza creations, Grazianos has some amazing salads and appetizers too.

The bottom line is this: if you’re looking for a great pizza experience in Charleston WV, then Grazianos Pizza should be at the top of your list! I give it two thumbs up and a 5 star rating – they truly have some of the best pizza in town!

#10 Giovanni’s Pizza and Italian Resturant

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a cozy Italian decor. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, making it easy to get exactly the kind of pizza I wanted.

What really surprised me was the variety of toppings, sauces, crusts, and cheeses I could choose from – it’s like they spent months perfecting their recipes! I’m sure everyone can find something to their taste – from vegan options to their classic Italian slices.

And now for the most important detail: the taste! The pizza was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of cheese – not too much, but not too little either. The toppings were fresh and flavorful, adding just the right kick to each pizza.

#11 Pizza Barbarossa

My experience started with a bang – they have a nice and cozy atmosphere, but also offer an outdoor dining area which is great for this time of year. The wood-fired oven gives the pizza an amazing smoky flavor.

I tried the classic Margherita Pizza, and it was absolute perfection! It was cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of cheese, tomatoes, garlic and herbs. The crust was thin and crispy, yet still soft on the inside.

The Italian Sausage Pie was another great hit – it had a slightly spicy kick that went perfectly with its mellow mozzarella cheese flavor. I would definitely recommend this one!

The only downside to Pizza Barbarossa is that their prices are a bit steep – I’d expect something like this from a restaurant in a bigger city. Still, if you’re looking for some truly amazing pizza in Charleston WV then this should be your first stop!

#12 Husson’s Pizza – Bridge Road

When I arrived at the restaurant, I was struck by the high quality of ingredients and pristine kitchen. The dough was freshly made every day and the cheese – a perfect blend of sharp cheddar and mozzarella – melted in my mouth. And the toppings! Husson’s had every topping imaginable from bacon to pineapple.

The atmosphere at Husson’s Pizza – Bridge Road was also something to behold. It felt like I had been transported to Italy with its old-fashioned décor and Italian music playing in the background. All that was missing were gondoliers in Venetian masks!

The service at Husson’s Pizza – Bridge Road was also top-notch. Everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff made me feel welcome and enjoyed sharing their passion for pizza. In fact, if you need a recommendation on what kind of slice you should order they are more than happy to help you out!

At the end of the day, Husson’s Pizza – Bridge Road has some of the best pizza in Charleston WV. If you’re ever in town make sure to stop by and get a slice (or two!).
