I’m a self proclaimed pizza enthusiast, having tried pies from all over the world. On my most recent adventure, I decided to go local and see what the best pizza places in Fairfield have to offer. After doing a rigorous exploration of twelve different spots, I’m happy to share with you my list of the best pizza in Fairfield CA.

It wasn’t an easy challenge by any means. But I estimate that I made my way through more than two dozen slices during my research process (hey, somebody had to do it). All that tomato sauce, melted cheese and delicious crust made me realize why pizza is so popular – even with countless options out there, it never gets old!

#1 Vicini’s New York City Pizzeria

I stumbled into this place while visiting the city, and I knew I had to try it out. The atmosphere was inviting, and I was greeted warmly by the owner.

The pizza itself was amazing! It had a perfect thin crust that crunched in my mouth, and the sauce was just right – not too sweet but still flavorful. The toppings were also spot-on; from the fresh vegetables to the succulent meats, each bite burst with flavor.

#2 Pizza Twist – Fairfield, CA

The interior of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. The friendly staff made me feel right at home and the atmosphere felt like a family-friendly, Italian pizzeria.

The menu was filled with great options such as traditional hand-tossed pizza, gourmet specialty pies and even creative gluten-free options. I decided to try their signature Italian Pizza Twist – a delicious combination of Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. The dough was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and chewiness. The sauce had a unique sweet-and-spicy kick that elevated all the flavors. Topped with fresh mozzarella, it was simply amazing!

The pizza was unlike anything I’ve ever tried before – the crust was perfectly crispy yet soft, and the ingredients were fresh, flavorful and generous. The sauce was also delightful – it had a subtle sweetness that added balance to the savory flavors.

My favorite part of Indian Star Pizza is their toppings. They offer a wide variety of options, from pepperoni to pineapple, mushrooms to jalapenos, so everyone can find something they enjoy! My personal favorite was the combination of spinach and feta cheese – it gave their already delicious pies an extra kick.

The atmosphere at Indian Star Pizza is also unique – it’s laid-back and casual, yet inviting and upscale at the same time. Most restaurants aim for one or the other but these guys have managed to achieve both, which I think is pretty impressive!

When I visited the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the staff and was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant. The menu featured a wide variety of pizzas with something for everyone. I opted for their specialty pie, the Supreme, which had pepperoni, sausage, olives, mushrooms, peppers and onions.

I have to say that it was one of the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever had! The dough had just enough thickness to support all of those toppings without getting soggy. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful and really complemented each other nicely. Their house-made marinara sauce added an extra layer of flavor that made this pizza even more delicious.

Aside from the great food, what really sets Pizza Guys apart is the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and chatty which made it a pleasant experience overall. They also have a large selection of beer on tap which rounded out my meal perfectly.

#5 New York Pizza Express

The crust is perfect – thin and crispy, just the way I like it. The sauce is flavorful and there’s always enough cheese so that each bite is cheesy perfection. And the toppings! From pepperoni to jalapeños, they always get it right!

I think what really sets New York Pizza Express apart from other pizza places in Fairfield CA is their unparalleled commitment to quality. No matter how busy they are, they never seem to rush through a pizza order. It’s obvious they don’t cut corners when preparing their pies – each one looks as if it was crafted with love and care.

Their service staff is great too – friendly and helpful, no matter how complicated my order. That alone would make me come back time after time if it wasn’t for the delicious food.

All in all, I’d give New York Pizza Express two big thumbs up for their excellent pizzas! Best pizza in Fairfield CA? Absolutely!

#6 Evelyn’s Big Italian

The restaurant itself is quaint and cozy, with a unique rustic Italian vibe that immediately made me feel welcomed. It’s the perfect place for a Saturday night dinner or romantic date.

Now let’s talk about the pizza. Evelyn does not mess around—each slice is packed full of flavor and seasoned perfectly. The pizza crust is nice and crunchy on the outside, yet light and fluffy inside. And oh, the sauce! It’s thick, creamy, and savory, while still having just the right amount of sweetness.

The toppings are fresh, plentiful, and expertly arranged on the pies. My favorite was definitely the veggie-packed Margherita pizza—it had all of my favorite veggies situated in between layers of cheese and sauce. Heaven!

I’ve tried pizza all over this world—and trust me when I say that Evelyn’s Big Italian definitely has some of the best pizza in Fairfield CA!

#7 Pieology Pizzeria Fairfield

The atmosphere is friendly and inviting – it just screams ‘buy pizza here!’ As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. They explained their pizza-making process and allowed me to choose my favorite ingredients for my own custom-made pie.

As for the taste, what can I say? In one word: Delicious! The crust was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It’s clear that Pieology Pizzeria puts a lot of care into their pizzas and it definitely helps with the final product.

I also appreciate their commitment to sustainability – they use recycled materials for their boxes and use eco-friendly packaging supplies.

Overall, I have to give Pieology Pizzeria Fairfield two thumbs up! Definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in town looking for some of the best pizza in Fairfield CA!

#8 Cenario’s Pizza of Fairfield

On my recent trip to Fairfield, I had the pleasure of checking out Cenario’s – and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. The warm, inviting atmosphere made me feel right at home, and there was an amazing selection of pizza options on offer.

I decided to try one of their “Combo Specials” which came with two medium pizzas – one loaded with pepperoni, sausage, olives and mushrooms, and one veggie-friendly pizza with onions, peppers, tomatoes and feta cheese. Both pies were absolutely delicious! The crust had just the right amount of crunch and flavor; the toppings were all fresh and flavorful; and the cheese was gooey and melted — it was perfection.

And let me tell you about their famous garlic knots — they’re hands down some of the best garlic knots I’ve ever tasted! Soft yet crunchy on the outside with just enough garlic flavor inside to make your mouth water…

The service at Cenario’s was also exceptional — friendly staff who were happy to answer any questions I had about their menu offerings. All in all it was a great experience that left me feeling full and satisfied.

Cenario’s Pizza is definitely worth a visit if you’re ever in Fairfield CA — they have some of the best pizza around!

#9 Mary’s Pizza Shack

I recently visited Mary’s Pizza Shack and I was blown away by their pizza. The crust was just the right thickness, with a great crunch on the outside and a light inside – perfect for me! The sauce was also super flavorful without being too heavy or too light. And of course, the toppings were absolutely delicious – crispy pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, and gooey melted cheese.

The atmosphere of Mary’s Pizza Shack is also great. It’s cozy and inviting, with brick walls and window benches to enjoy your meal. Plus it has its own arcade game machine that’s a big hit with kids!

#10 Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza

I visited this pizzeria on a hot summer day, hoping to find sanctuary from the sweltering heat in their air-conditioned dining area. To my surprise, there was no dining area at all – only a take-out counter. However, they more than made up for it with the quality of their pizza!

I ordered one of their signature 12″ Take ‘N’ Bake Cheese Pizzas. As soon as I opened the box, I was blown away by the aroma that filled my nostrils! Not only did it smell like pizza perfection, but it also looked promising. After popping it into the oven and waiting impatiently through the 15 minutes of bake-time, I was rewarded with a golden, cheesy masterpiece! The crust was perfectly crunchy and flavorful, the cheese melted deliciously over every bite and it tasted like it had been made by an Italian chef!

To top off my experience at Papa Murphy’s | Take ‘N’ Bake Pizza, their prices were incredibly reasonable which made it even better. What can I say? If you’re searching for “the best pizza in Fairfield CA,” look no further than Papa Murphy’s.

#11 Straw Hat Pizza

I’ve had a lot of pizza in my time and I have to say the quality and taste I experienced at Straw Hat Pizza was nothing short of spectacular.

The cheese was gooey and plentiful, with flavor combinations that were unique yet familiar all mixed together. The crust was thin yet crunchy, and the sauce added just the right kick to the pizza.

The staff at Straw Hat Pizza were friendly and professional as well. They took great care when preparing my pizza, making sure all ingredients were fresh like they should be.

But what really made this experience one of the best around is that Straw Hat Pizza offers something special no other pizzeria in Fairfield CA does: a self-service dessert bar! This was an amazing treat for me; it gave me access to some of the best homemade desserts around without going anywhere else!

#12 Cenario’s Pizza of Cordelia

The atmosphere is nothing short of spectacular. The mood is relaxed and inviting, the decorations are fun and whimsical, and there’s great music playing in the background. All these little touches make it an enjoyable experience before you even jump into the pizza.

When it comes to food – this place knocks it out of the park! Their pizzas are deliciously crafted with fresh ingredients that make for an unforgettable combination of flavors. You can have your pizza customized to your liking so you can be sure that you’re getting a unique taste experience everytime.

I’d recommend trying their signature pie – San Francisco Supreme. It’s loaded with classic toppings like sausage, bell peppers, mushrooms, and mozzarella cheese. The crust is light and fluffy while still holding on to some great crunch when you bite into it.

Overall, Cenario’s Pizza of Cordelia has quickly become my favorite spot in Fairfield CA for pizza. If you’re looking for something different than what you’d expect from traditional pizzerias or just want to try some truly incredible pizza – this is definitely the place for you!
