When I stepped into the restaurant, I was immediately impressed by its rustic Italian charm. The décor is inviting and cozy, and the wood-oven fired pizza smelled absolutely amazing!
The service was top-notch. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about all of the ingredients on the menu and even made an excellent suggestion for a signature pizza. We ended up ordering the “Big Baller” – a large, thin-crust pizza topped with tomatoes, cheese, sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni and banana peppers – and it did not disappoint! I walked in to the bistro and was immediately impressed by the old-world charm of the place. The walls were covered with photos from Italy, and there was a strong smell of tomatoes and garlic in the air. I knew I had come to the right place for some authentic Italian pizza.
The menu at Caruso’s is filled with delicious options, from classic Margheritas to unique creations like their “Famous Meatball Pie”. But I decided on one of their signature pies: the Zucchini & Olive Pizza, which was a mix of sautéed zucchini, olives, garlic, and mozzarella cheese. Wow! The flavors were perfectly balanced and blew my taste buds away.
The service at Caruso’s is friendly and attentive. My server was eager to chat about her favorite dishes and gave me plenty of helpful suggestions while taking my order. She also brought out complimentary samples of drinks that paired nicely with my meal.

I was really impressed by the level of hospitality I experienced here. Everyone from the owner to the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting – it almost felt like I was in a Roman trattoria!
When it came to pizza, Roma Pizza did not disappoint. The thin-crust pizza was cooked to perfection with just the right balance of ingredients that resulted in an unforgettable flavor. There are also plenty of options for customization, including different types of dough, cheese, and toppings.

In terms of atmosphere, Cuzino’s Pizza is great. It’s very welcoming and has plenty of seating so everyone can enjoy their meal. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the restaurant has some really cool decorations that give it a unique feel.
As for the pizza itself, it’s truly remarkable! I had the classic margherita with extra cheese and it was simply incredible. The crust was perfect, not too thick or thin, and the sauce had just enough flavor to make my mouth water. The cheese melted perfectly on top and all in all, this was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten!
To top it off, Cuzino’s Pizza offers other dishes as well. We tried their pasta carbonara which was excellent too! Overall, I would highly recommend visiting Cuzino’s Pizza if you’re ever in Middletown DE looking for some good pizza; you won’t be disappointed!
#10 Domino’s Pizza
I had the pleasure of trying one of their classic pizzas – the Supreme. It had all the toppings you could ask for: pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. The crust was light and fluffy yet crunchy at the same time. Plus, a generous helping of gooey cheese made it all come together perfectly!
The service at Domino’s Pizza is top notch as well. The staff was friendly and helpful in helping us decide on exactly what toppings we wanted. Plus, they got our pizza out to us quickly which was great since we were all starving!
All in all, I’d say that Domino’s Pizza is definitely one of the best pizzerias in Middletown DE! Whether you’re looking for a classic pizza or something out of the ordinary, they’ve got it all! For me, it was clearly a winner and I’m dying to go back soon!

Of course, the real test would be how the pizza tasted. When my order arrived, I have to say that my expectations were exceeded!
