#1 Vincents_NYWF_Pizza
- Nice tourist spot
- No delivery
The atmosphere of the restaurant is a nice tourist spot, perfect for New York City visitors looking for a unique and delicious experience. The people behind the counter are always friendly, and my orders are always prepared quickly. Whenever I sit down in their dining room, the servers make sure to check on me often to make sure that my meal is enjoyable.
I have sampled several of their pies over the years, but one favorite is their Margherita pizza. The crust is thin and crispy with just the right amount of char to give it an extra layer of flavor. On top they layer freshly-grated mozzarella cheese, slices of ripe tomatoes, drizzles of extra virgin olive oil, and dabs of fragrant basil leaves. It’s heavenly!
Vincents_NYWF_Pizza has some other treats as well, like their delectable Pepperoni Salami pizza or their more adventurous Bacon & Egg Pizza. Whether you’re having an early morning snack or a late night indulgence (my personal favorite), Vincents_NYWF_Pizza has something special for everyone!
My only complaint about this establishment is that delivery is not available; however, it’s worth making a trip here to get some of the best pizza in Suffolk County!

#2 Mozzafiato Pizzeria

- Has some vegetarian options
My first visit to Mozzafiato Pizzeria was nothing short of delightful. I started off with a classic Margherita pizza, and the flavor combination of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil was simply sublime. I was in pizza heaven!
The next time I visited the restaurant, I decided to get adventurous and try something new – a Sicilian-style pizza. It was made with homemade dough served thick and crunchy, bursting with olives, anchovies, capers, oregano and more. Wow!
I’ve also had the pleasure of trying their creamy ricotta calzones, which were stuffed to perfection with ricotta cheese and all kinds of tasty veggies. So yummy!
All in all, Mozzafiato Pizzeria has some of the best pizza around – definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in Suffolk County. With delicious antipasti plates to start the meal off right, plus fantastic desserts like tiramisu (for those who have room for it), you really can’t go wrong at this wonderful Italian eatery. Delicious!
#3 Angela’s Pizzeria
The atmosphere at Angela’s is warm and inviting, with a rustic charm that puts you in the mood for some Italian delicacies. The staff were incredibly friendly and eager to help me find just the right pizza.
The pizza itself was absolutely delicious! Perfectly cooked with a thin crust, not too greasy, and topping combinations that were out of this world. I tried the classic margarita as well as some speciality toppings like pineapple and chorizo, and both were cooked to perfection.
I have to say, I’m officially in love with Angela’s Pizzeria – it’s the closest thing there is to tasting the best pizza in Italy without actually having to go there! If you’re looking for a great place for pizza in Suffolk County, Angela’s is definitely worth checking out.
#4 Giovanni’s Pizza In Commack
- Offers dessert
The moment I stepped through the door of Giovanni’s, I was met with a warm, inviting atmosphere and the smell of freshly baked pies. The staff were friendly and made sure that I felt welcomed.
The pizzas here are simply amazing. From classic favorites like pepperoni and cheese to more creative options like Hawaiian, there’s something for everyone. All the toppings were fresh and perfectly balanced. The crust was thin and crispy, but still held up well to all the toppings; it had a nice crunch when you bit into it!
The presentation of each pizza was also beautiful – they look almost too good to eat! And best of all, the prices here are very reasonable so it makes for a great meal without breaking the bank.

- Has some vegetarian options
- Offers dessert
I recently visited Gino’s and was thoroughly impressed by the menu, which offers traditional pizzas like New York-style cheese and pepperoni, as well as some more innovative options like buffalo chicken with blue cheese and Mediterranean vegetable. Even though I’m usually one to opt for the classic choices, I was feeling adventurous and went for the latter – and it was exquisite! The flavors were bursting in my mouth with every bite.
The atmosphere at Gino’s is also quite charming. It’s a casual spot that has a cozy feel with its brick walls trimmed with strings of twinkling lights. And it doesn’t hurt that you get a view of the open kitchen while you dine.
But what really sets Gino’s apart from other pizza places is their fast service – they have a true commitment to customer satisfaction and always make sure your food arrives hot, fresh, and right on time.

#6 Ciro’s Pizza
What started out as a small family-owned pizzeria in the heart of Long Island has grown into an empire of deliciousness, with Ciro’s now serving up award-winning pies in multiple locations across the county.

From their classic Margherita to their unique gourmet creations like the ‘Truffle Delight’, every bite was sheer perfection. The crust was crispy while still retaining some chewiness, and the flavors were bold and undeniably delicious.

The first thing that struck me when walking into the restaurant was the aroma. It was as if a pizza had been baking in the oven all day just waiting for me to arrive. I could have stopped right there, but I decided to take a seat and sample some of their famous pies.
I opted for the classic pepperoni pizza, which arrived quickly due to their skilled and speedy kitchen staff. The crust was perfectly thin and crispy, and the sauce was rich and flavorful. The cheese was gooey and melted just right, while the pepperoni added an unforgettable kick of flavor.

The crust on their pizzas is light and crispy, with just the perfect amount of bubbling cheese. Their toppings are always fresh, and they have an amazing selection of meats, vegetables, and herbs to choose from.
My favorite part about Miseno Pizza though is the atmosphere. There’s a laid-back vibe that I really appreciate – no fancy tablecloths or expensive wine lists here! The experience was spectacular. From the moment I stepped into Pizza Rita, I was treated like royalty. The welcoming staff, who knew my name before I walked in, immediately took me to my seat and provided a delicious complementary appetizer platter.
The pizza? Incredible. This was honestly some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! The crust was light and crispy, the tomato sauce was flavorful and generously applied, and their selection of toppings is vast enough to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters.

When I arrived at Donatina, the first thing that struck me was the incredible atmosphere – it felt like a real Italian countryside pizzeria. The walls were decorated with pictures from Naples and the staff was friendly and welcoming.

I stopped in for lunch last week and let me say, it was the best pizza experience I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting as soon as I stepped through the doors. From the wood-paneled walls to the brick ovens, everything screamed “authentic Italian pizzeria”.
The menu was immense – from classic Margherita pies to pizzas topped with fresh clams or fancy gourmet ingredients – there was something for everyone. But I decided to stick with the house specialty: a thick-crust Sicilian pie loaded with tomatoes, garlic, and herbs. The pizza was cooked to perfection – it had a great crunchy crust on the outside and chewy center on the inside. The tomato sauce was bursting with flavor and complemented perfectly by the herbs and cheese.
